CHAPTER 27: THE HOSTILE!

The command table was dispying the droids leaving the dry dock area and marching across the city-less city towards the hangers to collect the ores when Zeo looked up from it to nod her head at me.

“Yes, of course. To fix your problem, you will need to become a legitimate Sor Tak. You can do this by taking the skiff to… uh, what's your furthest pnet from the sun that no one has a cim over?”

“Pluto” I replied by reflex before I paused to consider how true that statement was. I continued slowly. “I think, scientists on the pnet below keep changing its designation, it used to be a pnet then it got downgraded to a moon without a pnet then I think it was listed as an asteroid before being changed to a dwarf pnet. And there might be more dwarf pnets out that far, but I'm not sure.

“Uh, alright. Let's go with Pluto. You will need to take your skiff out to this Pluto dwarf pnet and nd on its surface. Don't worry, I brought a gift for you to set up here in your guild hall, it is a printer that is set to print my own cn's space suits. They are skin tight full bodysuits that cover from your toes to your neck. Once you are wearing it, it will then form a transparent shield around your head and provide you with fresh oxygen. Completely safe and can be worn under your normal clothes… Uh, right back to the point. Haha. Well, when you nd on Pluto, you need to exit your skiff and stand on the pnet's surface. Once you are standing there all you need to do is say ‘I Kenna Mackenzie Scion of Mackenzie Cn hereby cim this celestial object as my personal property.’ that will make you, Kenna, the pnetary king of Pluto. Then you just do that to each pnet and dwarf pnet or moon as you work your way back to this pnet below. I would skip it and continue to grab all the Celestial objects that are uncimed by anyone else. If someone does have a cim to even an acre of nd, the system will inform you that you can not cim all the nd. And then inform you who has a cim and how much of a cim there is on the celestial object.”

I slowly nodded my head as I gnced down at the command table, watching the droids move the ores towards a spot on the north-eastern side of the habitat.

“Getting all the celestial objects would probably take me the better part of a couple of days.” I mumbled as my eyes tracked the marching droids.

“In a C9 skiff, yes, most likely.” Zeo replied as her eyes dropped from my face to track the droids as well

“That expins how I become a pnetary king of each pce, but not how I become an actual Sor Tak.”

“Oh, once you have a majority ownership of the sor system you are recognised as the true owner of the sor system, and you are ranked up to Sor Tak. The reason you word the cim the way I told you to is so you, Kenna Mackenzie, become the pnetary king and not your cn. That way, no one in your cn can cim to own more nd than you and usurp your control of the guild. But as a member of the cn, your entire cn benefits from your rise.”

The droids had arrived at the warehouse construction zone and started putting the ore down off to the side, but one of them had not done this. Instead, it walked into the middle of the construction zone and from what I could tell. It sort of looked like it was melting the ore in its hands, then spreading it out in a wave to nd on the construction area that was then self building the foundation of the warehouse. A 1% had appeared in the middle of it. Next to a countdown timer starting at 6:00:00.

“There you go Kenna, you will have your warehouse in six hours. And then the droids will begin construction on your skiff.” Zeo said to me excitedly.

As I stood there watching the droids slowly build the warehouse, a thought crossed my mind and I turned to look At Zeo.

“Wait, do You know who Sutori is?”

Travis shifted uncomfortably Before he answered me for the group.

“Uh, yea he is Sutori Twiddles, some military officers in my cn have been trying to build a case against him for a while. Our belief is that he is using his position to pce recruits in boot camps above their skill level in hope they will wash out permanently. It's not exactly illegal or abuse of power, as he has cimed in the past that he thought they could handle the challenge and wanted to give them the opportunity to rise to their potential. Not all recruits fail, so it's hard to prove he is doing it out with malicious intent. However, they are always pced where another member of the Twiddles cn has control over their training, and the training seems more challenging than it should have been. In your case, my cousin says you offended Sutori somehow, and he decided to overreach and instead of sending you where fewer people would have noticed, he sent you to a celestial camp where everyone would notice. The likely reason was for you to mess up so badly and be caught out that it would have angered enough celestial cns that they would have wiped out your sor system. However, when you went to the training like a bilto to air, it forced your Twiddles training officer to really overreach. By doing so, she offended a scion of the celestial duke cn with the way she treated his men. This caused the celestials to come down on them instead. Which left all the celestials thinking you were one of them, but none of us knew which cn you were from, so they are treading carefully in case you are from a higher cn than themselves. My cn doesn't, now, as I have been keeping them informed of my findings as requested… and I have no doubt those two have been doing the same. But on the bright side, my cn has decred war on the Twiddles cn and has started moving carriers and warships to take their nd from them.”

  “So has mine”

  “Mine too”

“You see Kenna, you impressed a lot of powerful people or enough people that they influenced your status in the military enough that our cn's leaders have decided they want you in the war effort and have decided to give you a chance.”

Zeo waved her hand in front of Travis and drew my attention to herself before she took over the talking.

“Our recommendations to have you remain the leader of our team even after boot camp is probably a part of that influence that swayed them to keep you, but that means the three of us are now also responsible for you, since you are not actually a celestial, but we have already vouched for you.”

She turned her head, looking down at the progress the droids were making. I checked too and saw they were now at 3%. I then looked back at Zeo who was staring intently at my face.

“Kenna, we are going to need to teach you the celestial code of conduct and help guide you into becoming a celestial Tak, but it is now time for us to talk business, and I am afraid our friendship has no pce in it.”
