Iown near Zefaris's Magic Tower-
Several people were discussing things iavern.
"The tower has been quiet for the st few months."
"No disciples visited the towher."
"You think the Tower Master..."
"Don't speak ill of the lord wizard! Everything you say in this town be heard!"
"Really?"
"That's what they say."
"But why did everyone disappear all of a sudden?"
"Maybe they ran away?"
"But some people saw the disciples ehe tower but not return!"
"Maybe they used teleportation circles? You know how majuilds and Wizard Towers like to use those things."
"Then, are you suggesting- the tower is abandoned?!"
"Before you even think about it, don't fet it is a Wizard Tower of Zefaris the Mad!"
"Shush! It's Zefaris the Wise! He might not have kicked the bucket yet..."
"Oh, shit, right... Think he heard that?"
"Maybe, maybe not. You will know tonight... Hehehe..."
"Shut up!"
"Anyways, it is only a matter of time before Wizards start iigating."
"Yeah, but even Official Wizards wouldn't dare enter. Only Wizard Masters and above would have the bae to iigate anything."
They didn't realize that a group of cloaked men and women quietly listeo their discussion, their faces expressionless.
"The information was accurate. The old bastard likely kicked the bucket."
"Our attempts to tact him also failed."
"Aside from the Golem Guards, the tower seems dysfunal. "
"Did the old bastard use all his disciples in some research?"
"Cssic case of st-ditch immortality insanity."
"The old fool might have lived for another few years and preserved his heritage, but instead killed off those unlucky disciples. I feel sorry for them."
"More for us, then. And it saves us the time to chase them one by one."
"Should we take a now?"
"Yes, but we o do it gradually. The automatic defense system is still active even if no one trols the tower. We must dismantle all those defense golems and traps. Or do you want to be trapped in an anti-magic field, surrounded by armed lvl 6 and 7 magic-resistant golems? ravity chamber that could instantly turn us into pulp?"
"Brr... Point taken. Transmutation Wizards are known for their straightforward and siing defenses."
"It might take a week or two, but we should be able to quer the tower if no one trols it."

Day 89 FC(Freedom dar):
Ihe wooden house-
Tharick woke up, hugged by Evile while in his miniature form on the bed.
"I will evolve today." Tharick thought, feeling the impending evolution just around the er.
For the st 89 days, he and Evile had sex every day, steadily raising his Mental Strength. Several days prior, he reached a bottleneck, his Mental Strength not surpassing 999. Because of that, he started accumuting food energy in preparation for the evolution. It was now close at hand.
"Yawn* Transtion..." Evile yawned and mumbled her usual spell, allowing Tharick to speak.
"Good m, Evile," Tharick said.
"Good m, Tharick," Evile nguidly smiled and got up.
Over the st three months, she and Tharick had a honeymoon-like period. Tharid Evile were building a house with the Manufacture spell and gathered ingredients in the nearby forest and creek. At other times, they studied magic together, ed the house, or cooked. And when they were bored, they shagged like there was no tomorrow.
Ially, Tharick studied several useful spells during this time.
First was the 3rd-level juration Spell, Create Food, which created up to 100 pounds of bnd but nutritious food out of nothing that went bad and disappeared after one day no matter what you did. Only by digesting it did you derive energy from it. One could also give it a better texture, but the taste remained bnd. Luckily, Thariew a few magical tricks for that.
Sweeten, Spice, and Salt were three tricks that added fvor to food and perfectly synergized with Create Food. Sometimes, he gave the food the texture of spongy bread before either salting it or sweetening it. Other times, he tried making some spicy or slightly bitter food. Oher hand, Evile seldom ate from the food he produced, usually eating from the fruit oree or cooking some fish and mushrooms. She also developed a taste for his spooge and ate it every day. It roven a highly nutritious liquid food and a woman could survive and even be healthy by drinking it. As proof, Evile started being more full, which Tharick appreciated.
Because it was a juration Spell, Tharick found it several times more difficult to study than Transmutation spells, and he could only produce 51 pounds of food. It also required him to study in a different magical school without help. However, his high Mental Strength, 51% affinity, and previous magical background allowed him to study it within six weeks. Until then, he had to spam serve Energy to lower his food intake. In his miniature form, an apple was enough for aire day if he didn't have sex with Evile.
Another spell was called Soften Soil. As the name suggested, it softehe soil- and that's it. It was a 2nd-level Transmutation Spell, so it was simple for Tharick to learn, only taking a week. He studied it because it could be used with another spell, Move Earth, another low-level Transmutation spell. Together, they could be used for mass digging. He created an artificial fish pool with them and made a wooden pool with Hardeh(Another low-level spell) and Manufacture. Of course, both spells helped with the house building. It helped them struct a solid foundation for the new house, which was now semi-pleted with a roof and tilings.
Finally, he worked on Divination Magic to use the lvl-3 Transtion Spell on himself. He hadn't mastered it yet, so he had to rely on Evile.
Evile was also studying some offensive magic for self-defense. Uharick, she was retively vulnerable and human. She also did delicate work that Tharick couldn't do in his monstrous form.
It eaceful life overall.
After ing up, dressing, aing a light breakfast, Tharick checked his attributes.

"Hah... I will likely evolve once everything hits 999." Tharick sighed.
"The rate at whiprove is ridiculous, though. With enough time and knowledge straints, you will be a solid 5th-level Official Wizard. You even bee a 6th-level Master Wizard soon." Evile enviously said.
Human Wizards usually had to meditate for hours every day to improve their Mental Strength, and even with a secret visualization teique from the Spatial Ring, the improvement these three months was paratively underwhelming.

After ing Tharick's essence, Evile's talent signifitly improved, makiation more fruitful than before. bined with aravagant use of a natural treasure(Tharick's spooge), even if it didn't directly improve her attributes anymore, it made her training several times more effective than without. And with signifitly higher Magic Power, her Mental Strength rose like a rocket. She never had the editate under Master Zefaris, so it didn't show. Physique and Life Force also rose as a byproduct of her improvement. While Wizards were paratively weak to warriors of the same level, an Official Wizard was strong enough to beat up any average thug in hand-to-hand bat.
Before, Evile would be exhirated, but when she pared herself to Tharick, she couldn't help but feel humbled. After all, Tharick improved ten times as much as her by eating and fug! It was truly unfair.
On a side harick discovered he couldn't train through meditation. Every race had uhods of improvement. Enlightened races, like humans, usually traihrough physical training and magical meditation. Some monster races stayed iain enviros or absorbed the energy of the sun and stars.
Of course, the fastest ways were parasitic or predatory, taking away the energy that others worked hard for. In this regard, Tharick was akin to a top predator. Oher hand, he also suffered from his instincts, a major fw many found hard to pay.
pared to that, Humans and other Enlightened Races had a stable mind and practice, and although it was slower, there were fewer risks, weaknesses, and straints. They also had a more intaowledge heritage, which monsters didn't have, giving them an edge.

"How long do you think it would take you to evolve?" Evile asked.
"At the shortest, it would take a few days. At the lo, likely by winter." Tharick said. "Luckily, we prepared rations for you and made a Chest Of Preservation."
Creating and enting items was one of the three fual skills of a wizard along with scribing scrolls and brewing potions. Any wizard worth his salt could at least do these three things, especially as Journeyman Wizards.
Tharick used Manufacture to create a woode, then ented it with a Preservatiohat kept food inside from spoiling indefinitely. This was one of the only ways food made with Create Food wouldn't spoil. Tharick filled it to the brim, ensuring Evile wouldn't starve.
"Hah... I would go sexless for a while." Evile grumbled.
"No worries, I'll make my Dirty Water Magi do many tricks once I am doharick grinned.
"I'll be ting on that, my Perverted Tentacle Wizard." Evile smiled back.
After their small chat, Tharick went ihe unfione house, leaving the wooden house for Evile, and cast Create Food, juring a pile of spongy-looking bread. Without hesitation, Tharick started wolfing it down. After ing it, Tharick started feeling sluggish as his body quickly verted it into the energy necessary to evolve to the stage.
Slowly, Tharick's eyes grew heavy and he fell asleep. Evile ter entered, gently smiled at the sleeping Tharick, hugged him, and gave him a soft kiss.
"Sleep well, hubby."

Four Wizards, six Warriors, and fues entered Zefaris's Magic Tower's underground, warily looking at their surroundings.
"We already cleared the guardian golems and traps, but stay vigint. The damn Tower Spirit might have ued cards up its sleeve." A middle-aged wizard warned.
"We know. It took the life of Segrei and Arwy. This better be worth it!" A seasoned warrirumbled.
The warriors and rogues were part of a merary group, and these men and women were 7th-level Grandmasters. Instead of specializing in magic, they were experts in physical bat and stealth, the por opposite of bookish wizards.
There were generally more warriors than wizards, yet it was more difficult the further they went, to the point a warrior required the aid of a wizard to advance beyond the 7th level in their lifetime.
"Where did the wizard die? His spatial items should be on him." A young-looking female wizard said, her age ten times what she was showing.
"Let me check..." Another bald wizard with atoo on his forehead frowned and trated otoo. Half a mier, he pointed in a dire. "From there."
"Lead the way." A wizard with half his face covered with a mask, his neck revealing signs of necrosis, ordered the meraries.
"Yes, yes..." A grizzled warrior past his prime rolled his eyes and g the rogues.
Without needing to exge words, the rogues took the lead.
Slowly, the group reached an area where the walls had greenish fleshy growths. On a closer look, there were writhiacles here and there, with gapping and closing mouths, and yellow eyes looking at them.
"What the..." The group immediately became wary.
"Is this some wizard trap?" Someone poi out.
"No. Looks like a failed experiment."
"A major fuckup, at that."
"With a tai breach. Check for inants."
"No inants. It is just- flesh. Living flesh."
The four wizards, each a Grandmaster who lived for at least a tury, found the se appalling and dangerous.
"You're saying that the walls are fug alive?!" One of the warriors excimed in horror.
"No, we are saying the growth is alive. It is an Abberant lifeform." The female wizard said.
"The damn lunatic delved deep into forbidden research." The masked wizard grumbled.
"'t we just burn it?" One of the warriors asked.
"Fire is out of the question si would deprive our oxygen. Should I freeze it? Or should we use corrosion or electricity on it?" The middle-aged wizard asked.
"Try corroding it first, then try electricity. If those don't work, freezing is the way to go." The bald wizard with atoo suggested.
The other three wizards nodded.
Everyoook a step back as the masked man started casting a spell.
"Wave of Decay."
A dark green wave went through the hall as the flesh visibly melted and decayed, turning into rotten pus.
"Well, that worked." A rogue said.
"Let's keep moving." The bald man said.
And so, the group tinued venturing forth into the darkness.
