  'That's a whole lot of EXP...'

  Ren calculated the possibility of a double or even triple level up in his mind as he clicked on the collect options in front of each sub-quest. As he thought about it he realized that this should be a one-time quest, they had similar happen last year, this test was a revision check that would help the academy instructors keep an eye out for what needed to be taught to each individual.

  'That just means I'll get an opportunity to level up again after the accuracy and physical portion of the test.'

  Ren remembered a similar thing happening last time when their class came and went to their last year of training.

  'Though none of the repeating students managed to gain any potential results...'

  A blue block telling him he leveled up appeared twice once he was done collecting the rewards. He looked around and almost everyone was grumbling about the questions, Shikamaru was sleeping on his paper and Choji was still munching on his chips.

  Iruka-sensei then started to collect everyone's papers, after a small fight with Naruto who apparently was also sleeping on his paper, Choji elbowed Shikamaru awake, Ren had to suppress a smile as he watched the interaction, and how somehow after snoring softly for the past 5 minutes, Shikamaru simply sat down and looked as bored as ever.

  After the collection, Iruka-sensei looked at the clock and then gathered everyone to move toward the training ground. There was another chunin waiting for their class at the training ground. He was pale, with his strikingly spiky silvery-white hair hanging down smooth and straight, reaching down to his shoulders that give him a slightly wild and untamed look. The hairstyle frames his face, with the bangs parted to both sides.

  Though his appearance wasn't what caught Ren's attention, it was the blood-red color that was his name.

  After seeing that Mizuki's name was glowing red, Ren paused, but since he was the last in line his pause went unnoticed. Ren thought hard as he focused on going through his memories, he didn't go through the crowded areas or commercial district during the past 2 weeks so he wasn't completely sure but this was the first time he had seen a red name.

  'Observe...'

  Ren tried {Observe} but got a block filled with question marks in response, but this action did prompt another notification from appearing in front of him.

  '...Bounty'

  While Ren was waiting for whatever this new feature was the class was already in front of the throwing range, at one side there was a table where several sets of shuriken and kunai were placed.

  "Alright everyone, I'll call your name one by one, you need to shoot 10 shuriken and 10 kunai at the targets..." Iruka-sensei explained as he ignored several shouts of 'We know', "You will be graded on your total accuracy and total time taken."

  Two blue blocks appeared in front of Ren at almost the same time, the first one he was expecting given that he finished a similar quest hours ago, and the second one was a little unexpected and a little psychotic.

  Ren was a little shaken by the 'killing a red-named' part, he looked back at the smiling chunin who was happily giving everyone a set of shuriken and kunai when it was their turn to take the test.

  'What even defines Mizuki as a red name, is he an enemy?'

  Ren was apprehensive, but he still trusted the system a little bit, seeing that it knew who everyone in Konoha was, Ren had ruled out the possibility it was a genjutsu or some anomaly with his brain. That means for some reason this power was telling him Mizuki was an enemy.

  'Is he like a spy or something.'

  The thought popped up involuntarily in his mind and Ren became a little cautious, he then focused as all of the girls suddenly started screaming.

  "Sasuke-kun!"

  "You're the best!"

  "You can do it, Sasuke-kun!"

  Amid the cheers of everyone Sasuke took a standard posture and threw the shuriken in one go and the 1 kunai in another. Ren looked as all the 20 pieces of metal were firmly lodged in the red spot and sighed.

  'I need to grind the Intermediate Shuriken Jutsu if I wanna beat him before the year ends.'

  AN- So the bounty system will be the only powerful cheat that the M.C will have, no dungeons, just a fast leveling speed with no roadblocks and the ability to steal skills by killing people, sounds reasonable right?
