Is there really an end? (Revised Edition)
The man slowly turned around, his deep eyes calmly gazed at her for a moment, clearly seeing the pain, guilt and unease in her eyes. Before he even spoke, she had already lost all courage and made a 'stop' gesture with her hand, which was trembling.
"Get out! You don't have to tell me who you are, I don't want to know!" She threw off the covers and almost jumped up. Then she realized that she was actually dressed too lightly, turned pale, grabbed the quilt and wrapped herself tightly, "You just need to tell me, we...I and you..."
Her fingers fluttered agitatedly between them, as if she found it hard to get the words out, yet had to say them: "Did we really happen?"
He snorted and began to put on his shirt with an air of nonchalance, as if he didn't even deign to answer her question. The golden rose buttons sparkled with dazzling luster in the morning light.
She's about to go crazy.
"What's with your attitude?! Answer me, did we or didn't we make love last night?!" She stormed over to him.
"What do you think?" he asked back, his tone slightly chilly. He looked down at the small face that had turned red with indignation.
"What do I think? If I knew, would I still be asking you? You bastard! Tell me, did you or did you not rape me?" She said, suddenly losing control of her emotions and clenching her fists to punch him.
Before her fist could fall, the man had already taken a step forward and grasped her hand, holding it in place. His slightly cold gaze seemed to pierce through her skin, somewhat mercilessly. "Miss, let me remind you of something: it was you who burst into my room dressed like that, so no matter what happened last night, you have to take responsibility for yourself. No one has an obligation to give you any explanation!"
"You..." Gu Qianxun was choked speechless by him.
He glanced at her and saw that her eyes were gradually becoming hazy, he let go of her, but the coldness on his handsome face did not ease in the slightest.
At this moment, the doorbell suddenly rang. He continued to calmly tear off his towel, put on his long pants, turned around and saw her still pale and motionless, and ordered in a low voice: "Go open the door."
"Why me?" She thought he was utterly absurd. Not to mention that this room wasn't even hers, and she couldn't see anyone in her current disheveled state!
"Do you want to leave here looking like this?" Without even glancing at her, he deftly fastened the Hermès leather belt and then stood up his shirt collar, hanging the silk tie around his neck.
Gu Qianxun stared at the stranger in a daze. Under the morning glow that shone through the window, his profile was flawless. His movements were elegant, and every gesture exuded an air of nobility. His indifferent expression seemed to suggest that nothing could catch his attention.
She had a hunch that he was no ordinary man! Although she didn't know what kind of person he was, anyone who could stay in this presidential suite must be either rich or noble.
"Have you had enough?" He suddenly turned his face sideways, his handsome face facing her directly.
She was stunned, quickly looking away. At first, she was too shocked to take a closer look at his appearance, but now that they were facing each other, even just exchanging a glance, it could be described as 'a glimpse of surprise'.
