Hilda started walking back as Shila followed behind, checking the shop for something cost-efficient.
“Shila, found anything yet?” Hilda asked, turning back as Shila shook her head as she continued to stare at the shop like a social media addict to their phones, causing Hilda to look at her with somewhat of a curious look, wondering why she doesn’t just use the suggested section.
As Shila noticed Hilda’s look, she got slightly annoyed, wanting to defend herself which she does, “the suggested section only shows things that work for our situation, it doesn’t care for the price.” Shila said, showing Hilda the shop function, finding things up to the 100,000,000 points.
“Oh. My bad,” Hilda said, knowing how that has felt before but never seeing something worth 100,000,000 points so far.
“Whatever, let’s just improvise,” Shila said, giving up as she bought a handheld vacuum.
“Right, let’s kill a level 400 plus with a household appliance that I could find at an IKEA?” Hilda said, taking it as Shila passed it to her.
“Just take it, it’s mana-powered, meaning you can up it as much as you’d want though you should still be careful, thing could break or blow up if you add too much mana,” Shila said, emphasizing the blowing up bit before turning to Hilda whose listening half-heartedly.
Shila watched for a moment as kept nodding despite her having stopped talking for a while before continuing, kicking her as she walked by.
“That was uncalled for,” Hilda said, following Shila as she snapped back to reality before turning it on while aiming it at her own face.
“Wai—” Shila tried to say before the vacuum came on as Hilda turned to her, resulting in the vacuum trying to suck Hilda’s ear but attaching itself to her face instead.
“Stupid,” Shila said, watching as Hilda gently pulled it off, making sure not to break it.
“Wow, that was oddly efficient,” Hilda said, watching as Shila sighed while shaking her head.
“Just… don’t use it too strongly on Jamine,” Shila said, watching as Hilda tilted her head curiously, “Don’t,” Shila said, “Not unless you want her to get annoyed at you at least,” Shila finished as she continued walking back to the wind spirit.

“Fine fine, I won’t do it especially if she won’t like it nor allow it unless I have a proper reason to do so,” Hilda said as Shila reluctantly accepted her answer, knowing she probably wouldn’t get a better response.
“Now, let’s go catch us a vacuummon!” Hilda shouted, pretending to be a little girl by swinging her arms playfully.
“You’re not funny,” Shila said, making Hilda stop her act and walk in front of Hilda as they finally reached the room with the wind spirit again.
“Alright, there you are!” Hilda shouted, covering her eyes in a dense yet thin layer of mana, allowing her to see any fluctuations in mana, including the wind spirit’s doing.
Hilda teleported out of the way of an attack, followed by a continued barrage, all of which was dodged by either teleportation or jumping out of the way with the help of sixth sense.
“Sixth sense is such a god-like skill,” Hilda said softly as Shila glanced at her.
“The newbies have to buy it for 100,000, much more expensive than when you bought it,” Shila said, surprising Hilda.
“Why?” Hilda asked, dodging another attack as she prepared the vacuum.
“Think of it as a game’s balance patch, floors got easier, leveling up got harder, and skills are now properly priced though some are properly cheaper too,” Shila said, allowing Hilda to feel a tinge of joy knowing that the newbies don’t get freebies.
“Alright, time to try this out,” Hilda said, turning the vacuum on as it started sucking air in at a pathetic rate Hilda started using more mana, slowly pulling the spirit closer as it finally becomes visible after getting close enough.
“Finally, you're dead now,” Hilda said, passing the vacuum to Shila after adding more mana to it as she equipped her sword, infusing enough mana and sword qi to overkill it.
“This is for slamming me into the dam walls!” Hilda shouted, swinging her sword at it as it died nearly instantly.
“Woohoo! Revenge!” Hilda said, picking Shila up and spinning her around, making her dizzy.
“Put me down already!” Shila said angrily, kicking Hilda in the face as she put her down.
“Time to go to the 41st floor, c'mon,” Hilda said, expecting Shila to comply.
“Uh… I don't think you should,” Shila said, her voice oddly cautious.
“Nah, it'll be okay,” Hilda said, slightly overconfident as Shila sighed.
“Fine, but don't blame me for what happens here,” Shila said, placing the vacuum into Hilda's inventory as she teleported them to the 41st floor.
“Mmpph!!” Hilda tried to shout as water entered her mouth, the surroundings completely dark except for the slight glow from Shila as she held her breath and stared at Hilda while she struggled before teleporting them back to the 10th floor into the middle of the destroyed city.
Hilda stood shakily from the encounter and the cold due to her hair and clothes which are now soaking wet as she spat out water and lay on the ground panting.
“I told you so,” Shila said, jumping onto Hilda’s stomach as she tried to get her to vomit any water she drank out.
“Stop that… it isn't helping, just hurting and I'm not stupid, I didn't accidentally drink the water,” Hilda said, pushing Shila off her stomach.
Shila jumped back onto Hilda's stomach, getting an annoyed stare from her.
“I already said it isn't helping, stop that,” Hilda said, annoyed as she tried to push Shila off but she didn't budge.
“I'm not doing it to help, I'm doing it because you refused to listen to me,” Shila said, stepping on Hilda's stomach roughly one last time before getting off.
“Stupid,” Shila said, walking away annoyed that Hilda ignored her advice.
