“Are you guys idiots? All that is needed is for me to stand on it while Hilda goes through then I can finally ditch,” Shila said, angrily hitting Hilda for her stupidity.
Everybody stood still before deciding no there was no harm in trying and deciding to do so as Shila stepped onto the platform followed by everybody else, causing the doors to be opened once again.
“Nice,” Hilda said, walking through, followed by everybody else, leaving Shila behind who is currently pointing a finger at them.
“Thanks?” Hilda said, not sure whether to thank her for helping or not to do so for finger as she continued onto the 38th floor, Shila quickly went into the territory and then right beside her again.
“Stupid idiots,” Shila said, walking up to each of them to give them a kick with Hilda stopping her from kicking Red, Orange, and Green due to their lower levels and actual potential for Shila’s kick to hurt them.
Notification.
Welcome to the 38th floor, every floor up to the 40th will consist of teamwork.
Fine. The. Button.
Hilda read the message before she turned to the rest of the 40th floor, consisting only of a square room that expands based on the number of people along with buttons everywhere, each different in their own ways, some of different colours, different sizes, and different types.
“What. The actual. Hell?” Hilda slowly said, trying to stop herself from getting annoyed and angry from the soon-to-be very tiring and boring sight in front of her.

“What a goddamn pain, can’t we just ditch?” Hilda whispered softly to Shila, “Either we do this now or do it along later. Besides, Jamine can’t even help since the buttons are literally harder than her body,” Shila whispered back as Hilda reluctantly went back to pressing of buttons, the combined efforts of everybody, including White’s system who joined halfway only having completed a single surface so far, the floor.
(}-----10 hours later-----{)
“Finally!” Hida shouted, white having finally pressed the correct button due to draining his mana to use water at high enough pressure to pressure hundreds of buttons in a minute.
“Next floor!” Hilda shouted, glad to finally be done as Shila sighed, sending them to floor 39, the exact same as the 38th floor, just with more buttons, the room being no longer square.
“What a weird circle-triangle room,” Hilda said, looking around the room, the actual shape being ‘Geodesic Sphere’.
“Dammitttt….” Hilda whined, the rest having already started on button pressing.

Notification.
Floor 40,
Avoid t—
Hilda quickly teleports back to the territory, not being bothered to even read the notification to the end.
“Rest!” Hilda shouted as Shila pulled her back.
“What?” Hilda asked, turning to look at Shila behind her.
“Rewards, you got from the past few floors, leveled up too, go check,” Shila said, opening her status for her.
Name: Hilda
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Level 300
Stats:(301 S) (301 E) (301 A) (299M)
“Wait, I’m already 300?” Hilda said, surprised at the sudden jump.
“What do you mean already?” You haven't checked your status in so long, it’s no big surprise your level flew up, White is also at 298, not too far behind,” Shila said.
“No big surprise, I haven’t been upgrading my level anyways. Actually, where is Jamine?” Hilda asked, tilting her head as she finds Jamine nowhere in the bedroom.
“Ah, your level 300 so she's disabled,” Shila said, confusing Hilda.
“Disabled?” Hilda asked.
“Disabled is a kind way of putting it, she's more of in a system-induced coma until you complete this,” Shila said as she popped a notification in front of Hilda.
Notification.
You have reached the maxed capacity of a human, to level up further, you must obtain an improved body, all xp earned during this period will be stored until after your body has evolved.
“Evolved?” Hilda asked, somewhat annoyed at the realization she no longer able to level up.
“You could literally train, physical training will work since you have 300 years of lifespan to spare, albeit it’ll take over 100 years,” Shila said, really annoying Hilda.
“.......... How about a shorter more accepted way?” Hilda asked, clearly never going to accept training for 300 years as an answer.
“You could get a teacher?” Shila said, “If you got a good teacher than it could be reduced by a lot.”
“Oh, I suppose that wouldn’t suck,” Hilda said, somewhat confusing Shila.
“You actually accepted that? I thought after you poisoned your last one, you wouldn’t be so open to the idea, “ Shila said, clearly going to bug Hilda until an answer was provided.
“I hated him because he was FORCING me. If I did it of my free will, I wouldn’t poison the guy, I’m not so unreasonable,” Hilda said as Shila agreed for a moment.
“I'm sure you would happily kill anybody for your or your sister's benefit,” Shila muttered softly but enough for Hilda to hear.
“For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t murder you nor Jamine unless I was completely desperate.
“That… is surprisingly comforting,” Shila said, having fully expected Hilda to have killed her or Jamine for benefits which she probably would have done in the past.
“What kind of a person do you think I am? Besides, my sister would hate me if she knew I hurt somebody else for nothing,” Hilda said, causing Shila to think of Blue for a moment but refrain from asking.
“And you guys have been with me for over a year already, did you really think people I’ve been with for over a year would be completely disposable to me? Well, as long as you don’t try to hurt my sister heavily, it’ll be more than okay.” Hilda said, causing Shila to start thinking again before shrugging in somewhat agreement.
“That’s more reasonable of you than I thought honestly. Alright, since you are so very much reasonable today, here’s some information, complete what the notification said and you’ll be as strong as a level 400 if they didn’t do the quest and the effect if basically increasing the higher your level,” Shila whispered despite the lack of anybody nearby.
“Nice, I guess? Though the information is pretty useless, I suppose it could be good motivation.
“How rude, I went out of my way to tell you but you still didn’t appreciate it,” Shila said, turning away as she crossed her arms as Jamine suddenly appeared mid-air in front of them, still in her coma.
Hilda quickly catches Jamine, “Why is she here?” Hilda asked, “I thought you would want to know her condition,” Shila answered simply, Jamine disappearing again.
“Can't you keep her out here?” Hilda asked, receiving a shrug.
“What? It’s a yes or no,” Hilda said, somewhat annoyed.
“No, I could but there’s no reason, she’s safer in there and I can’t wake her up anyways,” Shila said, clearly unwilling to bring Jamine back out for her own safety.
“But why? Won’t she come back to life?” Hilda asked, making Shila somewhat angry as she uncrossed her arms, turning to look at Hilda.
“The guide added a restriction, if she dies in that state, she stays dead! It’s for people like you who want to make use of the fact Shila can’t feel pain, die, and is acidic!” Shila shouted, shocking Hilda.
“Alright, calm down, could have just told me,” Hilda said, trying to calm Shila down as she took a deep breath.
“Fine, sorry, just kind of annoyed shes in a coma because of the guide,” Shila said, crossing her arms once more as Hilda sighed.
