Chapter 9: Shi Hao: Nobody knows Im a reborn, so Im just slacking off

Early the next morning, Shi Yi woke up eagerly.

He couldn't wait to see the surprised look on Shi Hao's face when he saw him.

The sun had just risen, and the stone village was slowly becoming lively.

The sound of roosters and dogs was the first to be heard, followed by the voices of people. The simple villagers greeted each other in the morning, preparing meals, and soon there was smoke rising from the chimneys, and the aroma of food filled the air.

  Here, life was more vibrant.

In the old village chief's yard, Shi Hao had just woken up. He carried a beast milk jar that was half his height out of his room.

As soon as he came out, Shi Hao saw a familiar but unexpected figure.

  "I must be dreaming."

Shi Hao carried the beast milk jar back to his room, jumped onto his bed, covered himself with a quilt, and closed his eyes to continue sleeping.

Half an hour later, Shi Hao lifted the quilt, sat up with the beast milk jar in his arms, and sighed: "I had a nightmare. It must be because I was in so much pain at this time in my previous life, and it left a memory."

After saying that, Shi Hao carried the beast milk jar down from his bed and came to the door again.

  "Brother, long time no see."

Shi Yi smiled brightly and greeted Shi Hao.

Shi Hao was stunned. How did Shi Yi come?

  "Brother, how did you come?"

Shi Hao held the beast milk jar, his little face full of disbelief. He slowly rubbed his short legs and sat next to Shi Yi.

He had suspected that Shi Yi might be a little strange before, but he couldn't find anything wrong with him. His bloodline imprint and life level were all normal, so he dismissed his doubts.

"I was worried that you might encounter danger, so I left the Martial King Mansion after I came out of seclusion. I followed the records to find the western border of the Stone Kingdom. From there I learned some news and was able to locate the true ancestral land."

Shi Yi said. He had planned every step of his journey perfectly. Even if Shi Hao wanted to investigate, he wouldn't find any useful clues.

"Unfortunately, I still came too late."

  He sighed lightly, feeling guilty.

"I'm already very happy that you came."

  Shi Hao pouted reluctantly.

He was so angry, but he was helpless!

"As long as you're happy." Shi Yi chuckled and reached out to rub Shi Hao's head.

"I heard you love beast milk?" Shi Yi asked.

The current Shi Hao was different from the one at the same time in his previous life. This life's Shi Hao was not as weak as before. He looked like a one-year-old child. Except for being physically frail, he was much better than his previous life.

"Um, occasionally." Shi Hao was a little embarrassed. He wanted to shake his head, but he was still holding the beast milk jar in his arms. It was undeniable evidence.

"Good, I'll get you some beast milk later."

Shi Yi said with a smile.

On the other side, the old village chief came out with some food. He had a smile on his face and said: "Your brother came last night. You were already asleep then, so we didn't wake you up."

Shi Hao nodded with a complicated expression on his little face. He handed the beast milk jar to the old village chief.

Soon, the old village chief came back with the beast milk jar. There was more hot beast milk in it.

"This is Little Guy's favorite food. He always thinks about it. He has to hug the beast milk jar when he sleeps at night. He can only fall asleep when he smells the fragrance of beast milk."

The old village chief said with a laugh. He really treated Shi Yi as one of his own and told some stories that shouldn't be told to outsiders.

  "Oh, Grandpa!"

Shi Hao whined with his head down. Although he didn't tell anyone about his rebirth, and everyone thought he was a one or two-year-old child, he still felt a little embarrassed.

"What are you shy about in front of Grandpa? Besides, Shi Yi is not an outsider. You two are brothers. Why are you so timid?"

The old village chief said with a light laugh. He didn't know the hidden secrets and thought they were close brothers.

Half an hour later, the strong men of the stone village gathered together. They were going out to hunt.

"Little Guy, be good at home and listen to Grandpa. Uncle will bring you some beast milk back."

A muscular man with a bare upper body said. He carried a long bow that was half a person tall and a few spears.

However, the Little Guy who usually answered obediently didn't say anything. He stood shyly beside the old village chief.

Next to him was Shi Yi, who had just arrived at the stone village yesterday.

"I'll thank Uncle for Little Guy. My little brother just saw me and he's a bit shy."

Shi Yi took the initiative to speak.

As soon as he finished speaking, Shi Hao's little face darkened.

"Damn! If I knew Shi Yi was coming, I wouldn't have eaten beast milk so openly!"

Little Shi Hao regretted it, but he didn't know Shi Yi was coming at that time.

Eating beast milk was not a big deal, but not a small one either. It was fine if his parents knew, because in their eyes, Shi Hao was just a child.

  But Shi Yi was different!

Shi Yi was his brother, and a precocious one at that!

Shi Hao felt that his life would change a lot.

"Or else... I'll just give up, dead pigs are not afraid of boiling water. I'll just eat beast milk. So what?"

Shi Hao couldn't think of a good way, so he decided to give up!

I'm Shi Hao! The Reborn Desolate Emperor! I eat beast milk! So what!

Thinking of this, Shi Hao suddenly felt enlightened!

I'm not afraid of anything, no one knows I'm reborn!

"Uncle, bring me more beast milk back!"

Shi Hao waved his little arms and shouted in a milky voice at the departing hunting team.

  "Okay, got it!"

The uncle of the hunting team responded from afar.

After the hunting team left, the old village chief led the young boys of the village to practice.

It was called practice, but it was actually just physical exercise. It had nothing to do with real cultivation. At most, it could make these people stronger and barely reach the early stage of Blood Lifting Realm.

Although Shi Hao wanted to change some things, he was only a one or two-year-old child. It would be inappropriate for him to show too much.

So he just dragged his little body along with everyone else and exercised towards the rising sun.

"Is Grandpa teaching them how to cultivate?"

Shi Yi also joined them and asked while practicing.

"It's not cultivation, but it can make them stronger and healthier. They can protect themselves when they go hunting." The old village chief said.

"Actually, I know some cultivation techniques. If Grandpa doesn't mind, I can teach them."

  Shi Yi said.

Of course, he wouldn't teach anything too profound. He just wanted to make these people enter the Blood Lifting Realm and have some self-protection ability in the desolate land. The rest would be left to his little brother.

"How could I mind? We live in the desolate land, where dangers are everywhere. If we could cultivate, there wouldn't be so many deaths in the village every year."

  The village chief agreed immediately.

Among the children, Shi Hao breathed a sigh of relief. It was good for Shi Yi to teach them. This way, the stone village would be much safer.

The future had changed. In case something unexpected happened in the future, the stone village might survive until Shi Hao arrived.
