  Gohan was training with Goku, Piccolo and Raditz again as he powered up, he saw a yellow aura appear around him, but he couldn’t maintain it as it disappeared causing him to fall back to the ground exhausted.

  “You are very close Gohan; I think you just need one final push to complete the transformation. You can’t just transform because you want to, it comes from pure raw emotion Gohan, don’t rush it son, it’s amazing you’ve been able to come this far at such a young age.” Goku said as he walked over to Gohan and kneeled in front of him and put his hand on Gohan’s shoulder

  Gohan looked up into his dad’s eyes and smiled, “Ok dad.” Gohan said as Goku held out his hand to help him up

  “Yeah, Gohan don’t worry too much about it at this rate, you will become a Super Saiyan before I do.” Raditz said looking at Gohan with a smile, “You already have the yellow aura, yellow spiky hair, and green eyes. While I can’t even mange that yet.” Raditz said with chuckle

  “Don’t worry Raditz, like I told Gohan, you also just need one final push to break past that barrier, for me it was Krillin dying. I don’t know what it will be for the both of you but there’s no rushing it, it will come when it does.” Goku said looking at them both

  “While we wait for that how about we continue training, we have just one year left until the androids arrive.” Piccolo said as he got up from where he was meditating and walked over to the group.

  “Yeah, Piccolo’s right there’s nothing we can do now but wait, I have an idea how about we split into teams and fight against each other, me and Kakarot vs Gohan and Piccolo.” Raditz said looking at them.

  “That sounds like a good idea, how about it Gohan, Piccolo?” Goku asked looking at them

  “It’s your funeral don’t forget how well me and Gohan work together.” Piccolo said with a smile, “Let’s do this Gohan.”

  “Yeah, Piccolo lets do this.” Gohan said as he ran up to stand next to Piccolo, as Goku and Raditz stood next to each other facing Gohan and Piccolo

  “I’m willing to risk it.” Raditz said as he looked at Goku and asked “Ready, Kakarot?”

  “Yeah, lets do this.” Goku said as they all looked at each other before rushing towards each other at the same time.

  Goku and Piccolo cshed first as they were faster, Gohan and Raditz then cshed with each other seconds ter, the impact from all four of them caused shockwaves that caused destruction to the surrounding area.

  Gohan and Raditz vanished as they both appeared away from where Goku and Piccolo were fighting. Gohan punched Raditz who blocked the attack with his forearm as he countered with a kick as Gohan dodged it by jumping back.

  Gohan fired a ki bst at Raditz who knocked it back towards Gohan who saw that Piccolo had kicked Goku back a bit, Gohan then knocked the energy bst towards Goku’s back.

  Goku felt the bst heading towards him as he turned around to knock it back towards Gohan who dodged the bst, as Goku got distracted by knocking the bst back, Piccolo elongated his arm and grabbed Goku by the ankle and started swinging him around before throwing him into the ground.

  Gohan blocked a kick from Raditz with his forearm as he spin kicked Raditz in the side sending him flying towards Piccolo who was flying towards them. Piccolo then kicked Raditz in the back as Gohan flew towards Goku who had gotten back up and was flying towards them.

  “Double Saturday Crush!” Gohan shouted as he fired both bsts at Goku who knocked one away as the second one came right after it. Goku knocked them both away as Gohan used them as cover to appear behind Goku and kick him in the back.

  Piccolo had grabbed Raditz by the tail as he spun him around and tossed him into Goku, as they both crashed into each other. Gohan and Piccolo looked at each other before they both charged up their attack and shouted, “Masenko Ha!”

  Both attacks hit their targets in a rge explosion of smoke, as Gohan flew up to be next to Piccolo, as the smoke cleared Goku and Raditz stood next to each other with their clothes torn from the damage.

  “Wow, guys you work very well together.” Goku said as he ripped off his orange gi leaving only his blue undershirt on.

  “Yeah, I forgot how good the teamwork is between you two.” Raditz said as looked at his saiyan armor that was cracked, “Man, I’m going to need some new armor again.”

  “I told you.” Piccolo said with a smile, “Now do you guys want to continue?” Piccolo asked looking at Goku and Raditz

  “Yeah, I’m getting fired up fighting against the two of you… how about you Raditz?” Goku asked

  “Yeah, same with me Kakarot.” Raditz said with a smile, “Don’t think it will go the same way as before me and Kakarot are getting use to each other so be on the lookout.”

  “Ok, Gohan lets get things started.” Piccolo said as he charged up an attack and Gohan did the same as they both fired it at Goku and Raditz who dodge the attacks by vanishing and appearing behind Gohan and Piccolo.

  They flew in between Gohan and Piccolo separating them, Goku went after Gohan, and Raditz went after Piccolo. Goku started attacking Gohan with punches and kicks as Gohan dodged and blocked them.

  Goku then vanished and the punched Gohan in the back before Goku vanished and appeared behind Gohan and kicked him into the air. Where Raditz and Piccolo were fighting as Raditz hit Piccolo with his tail knocking towards Gohan.

  Goku and Raditz both vanished and the appeared above them, “Kamehameha!” Goku shouted as he fired his attack, “Kamehameha!” Raditz shouted from beside Goku as their attacks merged as it flew towards Gohan and Piccolo.

  The attack hit Gohan and Piccolo, but Piccolo had protected Gohan from receiving the brunt of the attack. Once the smoke cleared Gohan and Piccolo had some damage as well as their clothes were torn in some pces as well.

  “I didn’t realize you learned the Kamehameha as well Raditz.” Piccolo said as he looked up at both Goku and Raditz with a smile

  “Yeah, Kakarot taught it to me.” Raditz said smiling

  “I guess you weren’t kidding when you said you guys were starting to understand each other’s moves better.” Piccolo said smiling

  “Alright, now this is getting fun, lets continue.” Goku said with ughing

  They would continue to train like this for the rest of the year, they would sometimes fight one-vs-three, or they would fight in teams of twos, they had gotten used to working together. Gohan and Raditz still couldn’t get passed that barrier that was blocking them from becoming Super Saiyan.

  They decided to stop trying and just wait for the moment Goku talked about, they knew that it would come when the time was right.

  Gohan would spend time studying in the morning and then spend the rest of the day training with Goku, Raditz and Piccolo. During their training Goku was able to achieve a stronger form of Super Saiyan which he called grade 2, when Goku was in this form his hair became a little more rigid, and shinier. His muscles increased in size to the point of where his shirts would sometimes rip apart by the increase in size and mass, but Goku was still able to keep his speed while in this form.

  There were some days they would take small breaks and Gohan and the others would just rex and do nothing; they continued this routine until the time for the androids to appear had arrived.

  Age 767, May 12th

  Gohan, Goku, Raditz, and Piccolo were standing outside Goku’s house as Chi-Chi, Launch, and Ginnie were outside saying goodbye to them, “You guys’ better take care of each other ok.” Chi-Chi said looking at them as she was starting to cry a bit.

  “Don’t worry Chi-Chi, our men can take care of those metal freaks, no problem.” Bad Launch said as she carried Ginnie, “Besides Piccolo and Gohan are going with them and those two are smarter than both of those muscle heads. So, you guys go out there defeat those androids and come home for dinner.”

  “Alright, Honey that sound like a pn.” Raditz said with a smile, before kissing Bad Launch and Ginnie on the forehead.

  “Let’s go guys.” Goku said as the four of them flew off into the air heading towards where they were going to meet the others.

  “Kakarot, do you think, will we be able to win this battle.” Raditz asked after they had been flying for awhile.

  “Yeah, don’t worry we got this.” Goku said with confidence

  “Hey, dad look it’s Krillin.” Gohan said as he saw Krillin up ahead

  “Hey, guys long time no see.” Krillin said as he slowed down to talk to Gohan and the others

  “So, buddy, are you ready to fight these androids?” Goku asked

  “I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.” Krillin sighed

  “Why didn’t you come train with us Krillin?” Gohan asked

  “I knew that I wouldn’t be able to keep up with you guys, so I decided to train on my own.” Krillin said

  “That must be the isnd.” Raditz said pointing up ahead as an isnd came into view.

  The five of them flew over to the isnd where they saw Tien, Yamcha, and Bulma with a baby standing on a rge mountain overlooking the rge isnd.

  “So, Bulma… what’s with the baby?” Krillin asked, “Is it yours Yamcha?”

  “No, it’s not, and you won’t believe who the father is.” Yamcha said as he crossed his arms in front of his chest and walked away to sit on a rock near by.

  “It’s Vegeta.” Gohan, Piccolo, Goku, and Raditz said

  “What Vegeta!” Krillin said looking at Bulma in surprise

  “Yeah, it’s Vegeta, his name is Trunks.” Bulma said holding the baby up, before looking at the group

  “So where is daddy dearest?” Raditz said walking forward

  “I don’t know he left to go train in space a while ago, after he found out I was pregnant, and I haven’t seen him since.” Bulma said as he looked up into the sky

  “Sounds like something he would do.” Piccolo said

  “Don’t worry he will be here; he won’t miss this fight.” Goku said with a smile

  Gohan and the others were waiting around while Gohan was making funny faces making Trunks ugh, when Piccolo said that someone was heading their way. They looked over and saw Yajirobe flying towards them in a car.

  Yajirobe nded the car as he got out and handed them a bag, “Korin sent me with these senzu beans for you guys, now that you have them I’m out of here.” Yajirobe said as he got back into his car and flew away.

  Yajirobe had been gone for a few minutes when the car he was flying suddenly blew up, as it started descending towards the ocean in a ball of fire and smoke before crashing. “In the sky it’s the androids!” Piccolo shouted as there were two figures flying in the air where the explosion took pce before they flew into the city.
