“This should be a good battle.” Gohan said looking at Goku and Cell facing each other, Krillin nodded at him.

  “I’ve been waiting a long time for this; I’m counting on you to test my bodies true potential.” Cell said with a smile as he got into his fighting stance.

  Hercule came walking back towards Jimmy and the cameraman, holding his face as blood was flowing down his face, “Mr. Satan what happened?” Jimmy asked

  “I lost my footing, but once I take a short break, I will get back in the ring and crush that bug.” Hercule said looking into the camera.

  “That’s not happening you lost, and once you lose you are out of the tournament isn’t that right sir?” Cell said looking at the announcer, who was standing next to Jimmy and the cameraman.

  “Ladies and Gentlemen, I’m sorry to say this but Cell is correct, Mr. Satan nded out of the ring which means he is out of the tournament.” The announcer said.

  “Oh, no folks it seems like all hope is lost, our champion has lost.” Jimmy said staring into the camera.

  “There’s no need to panic folks, our next challenger is the winner of the 23rd World Marital Art’s Tournament, Goku.” The announcer said, staring into the camera.

  “Are, you serious if I lost what chance does that man stand.” Hercule said staring at Goku. "The only chance the earth has is for me to enter again."

  “Quiet, you buffoon, if you continue, to disturb my tournament you will regret it.” Cell said gring at Hercule, who shut up. “Good now Goku are you ready?”

  “Just look at Goku he’s acting like this is like any other day.” Krillin said looking at Goku

  “Yeah, seems like he’s enjoying himself.” Piccolo said as he looked on.

  “With, this new control over Super Saiyan, Goku is this pnet’s best chance.” Trunks said looking at Goku.

  Gohan was looking at his dad, when he felt someone staring at him, from the coroner of his eye he noticed it was Vegeta, who was staring at him. Gohan didn’t pay him any mind as he turned his attention back to Goku and Cell.

  “Will Goku be the one to defeat Cell, we are about to find out. Let the second match… begin” the announcer said as he raised his arm and brought it down.

  Goku unched himself at Cell as he turned around and tried to kick Cell, but Cell blocked it with his forearm, Goku then nded on his feet and tried to punch Cell, but it was blocked. Cell then tried to punch Goku, but Goku ducked under the punch as Cell followed up with a kick which Goku jumped over and spun around to kick Cell.

  Cell slid away from the attack as he tried to kick Goku again, but he missed, Goku started doing backflips to get away from Cell, “Ladies and Gentlemen what a start it looks like both men are evenly matched, not one of them able to nd a hit on the other. However, if I know anything about Goku from when he participated in the st few tournaments is that he’s just getting started.” The announcer said as Goku vanished.

  Goku appeared behind Cell and tried to attack him from behind with an elbow, but Cell caught it, as he grabbed Goku by the arm and tossed him forward, Goku nded on his feet and charged back towards Cell. Goku started throwing punches and kicks at Cell who blocked the attacks with his forearms and hands as Cell grabbed one of Goku’s punches he managed to nd a punch on Goku’s face. Goku then managed to kick Cell in his face they both put some distance between themselves as they looked at each other before they both smiled at each other.

  “Cell nds the first hit with a strong punch to Goku’s face, but Goku countered with a kick to Cells face. What an exchange of moves.” The announcer said as he started getting excited.

  “They seem to be equal in strength.” 16 said looking at the fight.

  Cell unched himself at Goku as he threw a kick at him, Goku blocked the kick with his forearm as Cell tried to punch Goku, but he jumped backwards, Cell unched himself at Goku again and Goku charged towards him. Cell threw a punch at Goku, but he flew into the air dodging the attack Goku then vanished again.

  Cell stood in the middle of the ring looking for Goku who appeared in front of Cell as Goku started throwing punches and kicks at Cell who blocked them, as he countered with a kick to Goku’s stomach sending him flying. Goku nded on his feet and smiled at Cell before he unched himself back at Cell throwing a punch at Cell who tried to block the attack, but Goku passed through him before he appeared in front of him again and punched Cell in the stomach.

  Goku kept attacking pushing Cell, towards the edge of the ring before he jumped into the air and kicked Cell in the face sending him flying out of the ring as Cell almost nded on the ground before he stopped himself.

  “Wow Ladies and Gentlemen what an exchange of blows, Goku used to Afterimage technique to trick Cell and nd a hit, and it looked like Cell was going to be knocked out of the ring, but he managed to stop himself at the st second.” The announcer said as he had moved to follow the action.

  “Did you really think it would be that easy?” Cell said with a smirk as he flew back into the ring.

  “No, I know it won’t be that easy to beat you.” Goku said

  “I thought it would be nice to py a joke since you are holding back on me.” Cell said with a smile.

  “You are holding back too.” Goku said with a smile.

  “True, I thought it would be appropriate to show my true power little by little.” Cell said smiling at Goku as he walked towards him.

  Cell unched himself at Goku as he tried to punch him, but Goku ducked under the attack before kicking Cell’s feet causing Cell to jump back, Goku used that distraction to vanish, Cell then vanished a few seconds ter.

  “Ladies and Gentlemen, it seems like Cell and Goku have vanished from the ring, if I hadn’t seen Goku do this many times before I would think that they weren’t in the ring anymore.” The announcer said as he looked around for where they were.

  Gohan and the others were watching as Cell and Goku were trading blows with each other, as they continued to move around, “Wow they’re moving so fast it’s hard to keep up.” The group said as they tried to follow the fight.

  “Yeah, I can barely keep up.” Piccolo said

  “You are having trouble?” Gohan asked looking at Piccolo.

  “Yeah… why?” Piccolo asked

  “Well, if you are having trouble now, then you will have even more when they get serious.” Gohan said gncing at Piccolo, before looking back at the fight.

  Gohan continued to watch the fight as the fight soon appeared right above their heads as Goku was punching Cell who was blocking the attacks, before the vanished again. They appeared above the ring as Goku kicked Cell in the stomach and then appeared behind him and punched him in the back, sending him flying towards the ring.

  Goku charged towards Cell as he continued this attack on Cell who continued to block the attacks. Cell then started punching Goku as he blocked the attacks Cell was slowly pushing Goku to the edge of the ring with each punch.

  “Why is dad not fighting seriously?” Gohan asked watching the fight as Cell had Goku on the edge of the ring as he punched Goku but his fist past through Goku as Goku appeared behind Cell.

  “Wow, what a fight when it looked like Cell was about to knock Goku out of the ring Goku used the Afterimage technique to appear behind Cell.” The announcer said

  Goku and Cell stood staring at each other, “Well, that was a good warmup wouldn’t you agree.” Cell said looking at Goku, who nodded at him.

  “Wow, I can’t believe my ears dies and gentlemen it seems like Goku, and Cell were just warming up. That is incredible I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next.” The announcer said.

  “It seems like the real fight, is about to begin.” Krillin said looking at Goku and Cell.

  “Now, time to get serious.” Goku said as he started powering up, the surrounding area started shaking from Goku’s power as lighting started appearing in the sky and pieces of the arena started floating upwards.

  “What… power.” Krillin and the others said as they watched Goku powering up.

  Goku continued to power up as an explosion of wind emerged from him after he finished powering up, he was surrounded by a yellow aura. “Now that you’ve shown me yours allow me to show you mine.” Cell said with a smile as he began to power up as well.

  Cell powered up as he glowed bright, as beams of light emerged from his body and shot up into the sky as an even stronger gust of wind emerged from him as it slowly pushed everyone but Gohan backwards. The announcer was stopped from being blown away by Krillin who held onto him.

  “What power dies and gentlemen it seems like Goku, and Cell were really just warming up earlier and now they seem to be getting serious.” The announcer said as Cell finished powering up.

  “It seems like they are fighting at full power now.” Krillin said looking at both of them.

  Goku slowly walked towards Cell before stopping in front of him, they both had a yellow aura around them as they stared at each other. “Now let’s get started Goku.” Cell said with a smile.

  “Of course.” Goku said smiling back.
