prologue

Under a bridge, somewhere in Atlanta, sat a boy in the dim light who couldn't be over eight years old. A man walked up to the boy. "Aye boy, you lost?" The boy shot his eyes up to meet his gaze. The boy had eyes that resembled men who were sent to prison for life for murder or rape or both. The kind of gaze this boy had startled the man and made him stumble over his own feet. "Hey kid, back the fuck up!" Yelled the man in a clear desperate plea to keep the kid away from him. "Kidd? Heh, I like it." Whispered the boy to himself. The boy rose to his feet and slowly walked over to the terrified man. "Please kid, p-p-please, please leave me alone, I meant you no harm, I PROMISE!" It didn't matter what the man said, this boy was ruthless. Perfectly breed by the hard streets of Atlanta. A man watching the scene from the shadows was very pleased with what he saw. As the man took a long draw of his Newport cigarette the boy ruthlessly cut the mans throat, clean with a motion that has certainly showed that wasn't the first time the boy had done this. "Perfect." The man murmmered to himself as smoke came out of his mouth. He threw down the cigarette butt and walked away back the way he came.
