On the lands of Thanlour, cities were once united. They were the center of the trades in the north. The king entrusted two wizards - Seerh Hallring and Drakh Hallring - to study the potentials of magic. The wizards tried to use dark magic to harness power. But it started to consume them as well as Seerh's wife who is pregnant. Several months later, a baby was born with an overflowing amount of dark magic buried within his soul. One stormy night, during the middle of a blizzard, Drakh tried to fight the evil growing within him and take the baby away. He tried to kill the baby but then, Seerh came and fought for his son. He used a telekinetic spell, took the baby and put it beside a tree. The two wizards started the exchange of countless deadly spells towards each other. In the midst of the battle, Gregory Smiter arrived and in the cover of the powerful blizzard, he took the kid. The battle continued until Drakh use a sealing spell that imprisoned Seerh. He went back home and killed Seerh's wife. Then, he was fully consumed by the dark magic and he began to bring inferno to the cities that was divided because of the downfall of the main city.
