[ Intrinsic Skill: Tempest Communication has been created. ]

  ‘Tempest communication?’ Seiran thought as he released a soft hum.

  [ Does the user wish to activate the skill? ]

  ‘Yes.’ Seiran thought and with that confirmation, the skill activated in an instant.

  ‘Hello?’ Rimuru said as his jiggly body turned towards him.

  ‘Hey! Now we can talk with each other, I really didn’t want to just be following after you silently for months again.’ Seiran said as he released a sweat drop.

  ‘For months!!’ Rimuru practically screamed as he backed off slowly.

  Seiran merely raised his left hand to scratch the back of his head.

  ‘Hey, I was lonely okay?’

  ‘Sure…’ Rimuru said in turn before the two started walking forward towards another entrance into the cave clearing.

  They kept a human pace as they walked, Rimuru didn’t want to end up falling into water again and Seiran didn’t see any need to rush.

  ‘After this is the meeting with the goblins, Rimuru beating the dire wolves and then them heading to Dwargon to get some bcksmiths, followed by the ogre’s joining them and the Ord Disaster event.’ Seiran thought to himself after making sure that he wasn’t transmitting his thoughts to Rimuru.

  ‘I don’t think I’ll be able to earn anything from the events that happen to Rimuru until at least the Demon Lord awakening and im going to be much weaker than Rimuru by that point if I don’t do something about it.’ Seiran thought to himself as he followed the slime from behind.

  ‘What do I do?’ He thought though he couldn’t really come up with an answer.

  Turning his thoughts towards his new skill [ Information System ], he asked it.

  ‘Hey, can you give me a detailed expnation of my skills?’

  [ Yes ]

  [ User Skills ]

  [ Record and Rewrite ]

  [ Grants the user the ability to record anything from memories to natural phenomena and then be able to recreate and reconstruct them ter. Though it is limited by the user’s knowledge and magicules. ]

  [ Hidden Ruler ]

  [ Sub Skills ]

  [ Copy ]

  [ Grants the user the ability to copy a target's skills and hold on to them for a certain amount of time. Users cannot copy unique skills. Current limit as to how many skills the user can hold: 3 ]

  [ Use ]

  [ Grants the user the ability to use copied skills for a certain amount of time. Current time limit: 1 Year ]

  [ Ruler ]

  [ Grants the user the ability to give his subordinates a skill of his choosing from the ones he has in his copy tempte. These skills don’t have a time limit and the subordinate can use them for as long as they wish. ]

  [ Revoke ]

  [ User has the ability to Revoke any skill he has granted to a subordinate. Revoking a skill takes it back from the subordinate and stores it if there is pce in the user’s copy tempte. At the same time, the user gains a number of magicules from the subordinate proportional to how much the subordinate has used the skill. ]

  [ Information System ]

  [ Grants the User the ability to look back at any information that he has heard before whilst at the same time helping the user manage his skills. It also gives the user partial information when asked from information stored in the Voice of the World. ]

  [...]

  ‘That’s quite a lot of skills to start with.’ Seiran thought as he released a quiet sigh.

  ‘Still, not as overpowered as this little slime. Though that Hidden Ruler skill certainly is interesting, and considering the number of subordinates in Tempest, It’s certainly valuable.’ Seiran thought to himself.

  Days continued as the two continued to walk together, any time that they saw a creature, Rimuru or Seiran would take care of it quickly.

  Rimuru mainly used his water bde though he ter switched to trying out any new skills he gained from eating the monsters whilst Seiran used his bck lightning and fire.

  By the end of three weeks, the duo had fought quite a variety of monsters ranging from:

  A centipede monster called “Evil Centipede” ranks B-plus.

  A Big spider called “Bck Spider” rank B

  A Vampire Bat called “Giant Bat” rank C-plus

  A big-shelled lizard called “Armorsaurus” ranks B-minus.

  A rge bck snake ranks B.

  This had gained Rimuru quite a lot of skills that clearly closed the power gap between him and Serian.

  ‘I’m still stronger but that gap will disappear soon enough.’ He thought as he opened a status menu of sorts, he had managed to create it with his rewrite skill together with the Information System.

  It gave him a visual view of his current status.

  What he was looking at currently, were the three copied skills in his tempte.

  [ Poisonous breath, Steel Thread, Body Armor ]

  These were the most useful out of the other abilities.

  Whilst the Drain ability of the giant bat was somewhat simir to his own copy skill, It was clearly much worse as it only allowed the user to get about seventy percent of the copied skill power whilst at the same time losing it after a short while.

  ‘It’s probably reted to how fast your body can dissolve the blood you suck?’ Seiran thought as he and Rimuru walked further down.

  Rimuru had managed to create a map of sorts after a while and they had found that they were only walking in circles for an entire week.

  Though finally after so long, light had started to seep into the cave from somewhere outside, it was clear that it was day.

  ‘Finally, we’re close enough to get out of this hell hole.’ Seiran thought as he continued his trek through the cave.

  If he had to be honest with himself, the worst thing in the cave wasn’t the monsters or the fact that there was almost nothing to do.

  It was the damned food, whilst Rimuru didn’t need anything for sustenance, he did.

  And he couldn’t really try the monster meat as he had no idea if it was edible and he wasn’t willing to risk it, so he had been stuck with eating Hipotoke herbs for around ninety days now.

  ‘I want chicken, I want beef, I want fish…’ Seiran kept repeating to himself as he walked.
