“…” John tried to speak, but could not. He’d almost forgotten how to speak.
“Al…cae…us” a smile covered his face after he heard his voice after such a long time.

“Elf” the fantasy lover in him screamed out loud.
A mirror appeared in front of him, as an elf the only difference was the pointy ears, except that he was the same.

A list popped up in front of him with many names, unable to decide he left it up to fate.

-Welcome to Royal Road-
Alcaeus opened his eyes; in front of him people appeared and disappeared in seconds.
He was amazed, everything felt so real, he could walk, he could speak, and he could smell the air around him. Alcaeus looked at his hands, clenched them, he knew he had control over them, at least inside the game.
While other new players immediately started looking for quests and jobs, Alcaeus decided to walk around. Upon reaching a garden inside the city grounds, he sat under a tree. After a year of not creating a single verse, his mouth could not stop doing so. Inspired by one too many things that had happened during the last year he did what he always wanted to do.
“Fire burned the place to ground,
Not a single tree was found.
Once a beautiful lively land,
Now a valley filled with sand.
Time passed, years gone by,
I could not believe my eye.
For in the barren empty ground,
A growing sapling is what I found. “ (I’m not very good with poems)
As soon as he finished reciting the small poem he thought up, a small tree instantly grew close by.
Amazed by what happened, he repeated the poem again.
“Fire burned the place to ground,
Not a single tree was found.
Once a beautiful lively land,
Now a valley filled with sand.
Time passed, years gone by,
I could not believe my eye.
For in the barren empty ground,
A growing sapling is what I found. “
And just like before another tree grew near him, it was beautiful, simply weaving some words together he managed to make a tree grow, he wanted to see more and tried again.
It bothered him not. Instead he just laid there next to the trees he had created, and wondered what would happen if he were to say something else.
Five minutes passed and his mana regenerated completely.
Alcaeus sill lay there now feeling hot from the suns never ending shine.
It was time to test his theory, see the limit of his imagination inside this world.
“The lake has now began to drain,
If it does there will be pain,
Come clouds and make it rain.”
The same as before dark clouds gathered near the garden and it started to rain.
The people there left, saddened by the sudden change in weather.
~good thing they do not know I’m the cause~ Alcaeus thought to himself as he hid from the rain.
Then an unexpected notice popped up to him.
*trring.*
“Yes” he replied.

Skills:
Alcaeus had the brightest smile on his face; he had gotten the power to alter the world with his words, of course due to the restrictions he could not make someone die instantly, or make a palace in the blink on an eye.
Together with the title he received a strange glowing stone. He held it in his hand unable to let go.
Alcaeus had not expected that, and was not sure of his next move. He thought of writing but he had no paper of pen.
Then very unexpectedly he bit his finger hard enough for it to bleed.
-10 HP
-wound -1 HP/sec
Using his still bleeding hand we wrote in the air the word “Heal”.
*trring. Skill generated*
Using his still bleeding hand he wrote “Heal” again and his eyes widened as he saw the wound on his finger disappear.
Three hours passed while he played around with words and he got hungry. After he checked his bag and found only a canteen of water and ten hard pieces of bread, disappointment came over him. Using his new skill he tried to transform the bread into something edible, but nothing happened.
He ate enough just to survive and walked around town to a church. The church of Freya, it was called.
He went inside hoping to get something decent to eat in there (for free), only to find people paying the priests to sprinkle them with water. After passing by them and letting himself in, an old man in white clothes slowly came to greet him.
“Hello young man, if you wish to receive Freya’s blessing you needs to wait in line like everybody else.”
Looking at the old man an idea came to Alcaeus * I think I just found another use for my skills.*
With a big smile hiding the grin behind he spat out the words that came from within.
