  There were around 10 thousand students at the Akademie,And there was 100 classrooms,each classroom would be given a rating according to the performances of the students that frequented it in the past,If a classroom ranked high,it likely meant that the teaching methods of the professor was effective,and Brahms, wasn't a very good teacher to say the least,the only reason he was even a teacher was due to the low availability of high rank Heroes who desired to become teachers, teaching at the Akademie was a very demanding job which required the teachers to spend hours of their day teaching,those hours could be used to improve their strength instead,to become a teacher,one needed to be at least a Light Keeper,this was because the teaching methods involved using The soul Mundus of others to set up certain trials, normally,these trials would only involve learning how to cast Spells,the curse, authorities and using the Ausstrahlung.

  This was because actual soul battles could harm the soul if a protective charm wasn't used, protective charms were very rare and the Akademie only had one that could be activated one month at a time, during this month, students would be able to actually use what they learned previously in combat amongst themselves and against certain beings that reside in the principal's soul Mundus.

  The effectiveness of the trials would depend on the teacher's inner soul Mundus,the more "peaceful" the inner soul Mundus,the better the students can focus on learning, and Brahms,had a not so very "peaceful" inner soul Mundus, he even had to use his inheritance to make being inside his soul Mundus more bearable for others,if not for his inheritance,he wouldn't ever be allowed to be a teacher at the Akademie,they wouldn't want to traumatize the students after all.

  However,His soul Mundus was still not very effective in teaching , because of this combined with his unsettling behaviors and looks, Brahms class was avoided by all the students, his class practically always placed last in the interclass competitions, therefore none of them were very excited to enter it, except for a few of them maybe...

  Although normally the only people who end up in his classroom are untalented students who perform poorly, sometimes there are exceptions,like a student this year who Ended up in his classroom for misconduct at the initial evaluation and being placed last due to that,or a student who somehow ended up going through Sacrum Ritus a month before the end of the semester...
