'How did he not die?'

  VanKcrow was a quite paranoid person,which is why he did not drop his guard even after Yoggot's throat was pierced.

  However, after actually seeing Yoggot still alive,His head was filled with questions.

  He hadn't seriously expected Yoggot not to die...

  'It must be his inheritance,but what kind of inheritance can allow someone to have such high defensive prowess?'

  On the other end,Yoggot was also wondering about VanKcrow,

  He felt himself being paralyzed somewhat, however, using the extreme physical capacity of a changeling,he managed to fight it of somewhat.

  VanKcrow jumped towards the Avatar,he pierced forward with the blade in his right hand and the Avatar stopped in it's track,it could feel that the weapon was dangerous to it, right afterwards, VanKcrow changed Arsenal into a long rapier that found itself located in his left hand,the rapier almost managed to pierce the chest of Yoggot but he used Bewegen to pull himself towards his Avatar that was on the left barely managing to escape the attack.

  'why did the Avatar not press forward?'

  'this guy is full of mysteries huh?'

  Yoggot and the avatar went forward at the same time,now they were right next to each other, Yoggot had decided that since the avatar didn't want to press forward by itself,he would serve as the tank and give it a chance to attack when the opponent was restrained.

  Yoggot's inheritance gave him 6 different abilities,one is to give him the physical prowess of a Baakgaan, another is to give his hands the properties of the hands of a Crusher, another is to give him the revival ability of an Immortan, Another is to give him the teeth,mouth,massater muscles and digestive system of a Davaak, another one gives him the skull of a predator and the last one is to summon the harrowing.

  Yoggot's inheritance was very special since most of its abilities are passive, unlike others who have a high level inheritance.

  Passive abilities don't require a sacrifice while active abilities do.

  The only active ability of his inheritance is the harrowing,an ability specifically designed for mass devastation of life.

  However,it's activation conditions are quite harsh...

  Due to yoggot's inheritance,his hands, teeth and skull are extremely hard and the only way for someone of his own age to usually kill him is to use an attack that aims straight at the soul.

  Although in this trial,all attacks would technically hit the soul,but due to the protective charm they would not leave any damage,the principal's ability is what decides if one has "died" or not.

  VanKcrow changed "Arsenal" into a long odachi and slashed in direction of the avatar's head, however,the avatar and yoggot quickly changed positions and yoggot tanked the attack with his forehead, VanKcrow changed "Arsenal" into a one handed sword and shifted it's position to aim at the enemy's throat,"Arsenal" was then changed into a longsword,this time however,yoggot was prepared and moved his upper body backwards just narrowly avoiding the blade, VanKcrow was about to change his weapon into a Montante but he had to instead change it into a short sword to deter the Avatar that was coming from his right,The Avatar then Immediately fell back towards the left to avoid being struck by "Arsenal",yoggot performed a roundhouse kick towards VanKcrow's head and VanKcrow caught his leg with his left hand, yoggot's right leg now couldn't move properly and he was somewhat immobilized, VanKcrow attempted to slash at yoggot's right leg but the avatar soon approached again aiming somewhere around his head, VanKcrow was yet again forced to use "Arsenal" to deter the Avatar and soon after,Yoggot jumped forwards with his left leg and just before he could land, VanKcrow performed a swipe and threw him to the ground,as he was falling, VanKcrow took the chance to quickly let go of his right leg and change "Arsenal", into its original form, VanKcrow managed to slice yoggot's entire shin out of the rest of his leg,When he was about to attack again however, Yoggot used Ziehen and The Avatar which was a little bit away from him suddenly appeared right in front of him,and struck towards VanKcrow's head again, VanKcrow immediately changed "Arsenal" into a short sword and struck towards the Avatar.

  This time,the avatar did not attempt to avoid the strike and was pierced right in the chest.

  Right afterwards, the part of yoggot that was cut off was consumed by a mass of darkness, the Avatar was also covered by a mass of darkness, VanKcrow felt a sense of extreme danger coming from the mass of darkness,he immediately backed away from it and yet he wasn't able to get away and was consumed by the darkness.

  Yoggot had decided to abandon his Avatar.

  Avatars cannot be "killed",like humans but instead have to be purged,to purge an avatar,one needed to have an inheritance, which is why usually changeling avoid facing against Avatars and instead aim for the summoner.

  Yoggot sacrificed his Avatar to receive a Blessing,with the blessing,the Harrowing was manifested.

  Right after VanKcrow was consumed,

  The mass made of pure darkness manifested many red eyes and then shaped itself in the form of a strange creature with a body somewhat similar to an upside-down triangle with many thin and long wings on its back and a goat like head.

  Now that he had used the harrowing,Yoggot was almost certain of his victory.

  The Harrowing was an extremely onmious force that very few people could deal with,it worked by consuming the soul of someone else and then releasing an ocean of darkness that would consume the souls of anything within a certain area,this was how he had killed so many people before.

  Yoggot encountered a very formidable enemy he could not have defeated without the harrowing right after landing on the ground,he managed to sacrifice that person's avatar and used the harrowing to kill him.

  However,the harrowing had a very harsh requirement for it's activation,the user had to sacrifice a certain body part,Give up on their ability to use any spells except for Iahmen, Ziehen and bewegen for a certain period of time,and not be allowed to carry any weapon in them.

  This was due to the History of the Harrowing,The God of Weapons Argent,The Son of Bahamuth Baalal,

  The Diabolos of Despair.

  All of these people had a strong connection with the Harrowing.

  The God of weapons and the son of Bahamuth were two of the greatest enemies of the harrowing.

  Because of that,the Harrowing dislikes anything involving them.

  The God of weapons had invented all weapons in existence while the son of Bahamuth was the one who invented the 5 spells, Stehlen,Handel, Schalten, Zurucksetsen and Duell.

  The other three were invented by Honored One Azure Dragon's Hand.

  The spells humans use today aren't the original spells the sages used when they were alive,the sages had far more spells than just 8.

  However,after the Apocalypse war in which the Golden Hero and Princess Ethel had participated in,all the spells were erased from existence and The fated who came after were only Left with the capacity to use Avatars,the Ausstrahlung and inheritances.

  It was only after a long time that Honored One Azure Dragon Hand managed to create three new spells and imparted them into the Schicksal.

  After 20 thousand years,The son of Bahamuth invented the other 5 spells and likewise imparted them into the Fate system.

  The sacrifice demanded is due to the Diabolos of Despair, being a particularly bloodthirsty being.

  Fortunately, Yoggot had the extremely fast and effective regeneration of a Baakgaan, therefore he would soon regenerate his lost body part.

  Yoggot waited for a while expecting the ocean to come out,and yet it did not...

  From within the mass of black darkness a transformation was going on, VanKcrow's hair was slowly turning white and his eyes were shining bright red.
