Note 1 - Spiral.

  ...

  Who?

She continued to ask herself that. However, the answer to such a simple word, composed by three letters: Two consonants and a vocal, remained an infinite loop of headaches that couldn't, ever, stop persisting.

My head.. it hurts. That's all she could think, that's all she could understand, her very existence has started with pain...? Or has she simply just forgotten who or what she was...?

  ...

Dark. Everything around, was a dark mix of pitch black and a sickening, glistening, almost alive pale grey. She could almost see the reflection of her violet eyes from the ever expanding translucent miasma. Her thoughts almost felt tangible and real, she didn't know how to distinguish reality from fantasy, amidst this.. this..

Chaos. It was simply, pure, chaos. Almost as if this endless horizon was a physical manifestation of her broken, shattered mind.

  ...

A pull. Her body - no, her soul, were being dragged deeper into the abyss.. she could see eyes staring at them even if there was virtually no light, because she could feel it, gnawing teeth in the dark, sinister imperceptible and almost mute laughs that sent shivers down her condemned soul.

Yet she didn't falter.. why? Why, as her very being is being consumed by the abyss, by the void.. she wants to live!

  ...

She didn't know her name. All she had, was a vague memory. Of a woman.. crying. A woman that sobbed as if she had lost something important, and she.. didn't like to see this woman cry.. she didn't know who this pale and clearly malnourished, stressed lady was... yet she saw a striking beauty, in her amethyst eyes.. a beauty that she felt envious of.. strength.

Without hesitating, she didn't care of the leers, she didn't care of the laughs.. she didn't care of the pulls, all she wanted was to reach that woman, to be strong like her, to be invincible like her, to reachtowardsherand--

Agony. The pull wasn't just strong now, but it was from both the out and the within.. as if a singularity formed within her very core esse, she choked back a scream, falling to her knees, her eyes dilated in a pain that went well beyond her own very understanding...

  Because a memory had resurfaced.

"She laid sickly in a bed, alone, the ceiling of the hospital almost mocking her.. calling her a weak, fragile lamb with no direction or way, trying to find a meaning in the world. Everytime she coughed, hissing and lung shattering fits that left her breathless, some blood would come out, and she didn't like the pain.. tears brimmed at the corner of her eyes.. she wanted to live like everyone else.. why was she born like this..."

  ...

Her eyes snapped back open in shock, gasping, as she suddenly finds herself emerging from near freezing point cold waters, her arms flailing helplessly in search of something to hold onto... which, luckily, she found.

A boat. A very small one, black, so, so black, it looked as if it was created out of ink. She, with fatigue, manages to get on the boat.. she spits, she coughs out the water in her lungs, slowly, but surely, regaining her bearings..

..she almost wish she had not. As her eyes looked forward, an expanse that made the twisted abyss from before look like an immaculate paradise.. she saw oblivion.

A dark shapeless... thing, surrounded by a spinning vortex of chaotic color that didn't even make sense and she couldn't believe even existed.. there was no light, no warmth, no sound in this distorted hell, just that colossal abomination.. the deepest, darkest corner of creation, something no one has ever escaped, returned from, and ventured in..

  ..The past.
