They began to set up camp some distance from the cabin, but not too far from the lakeshore. Reaching inside their rings, their tents appeared ready to go. Once out, it took a few seconds before the tent's surface rippled, and their camouflage features came to life, making the tents blend rather well with the surrounding grass and shrubs. The party had two tents. The smallest was Arctur’s, since he slept in it alone and didn't need much else. On the other hand, Alexion’s and Adrianas' tent was double the size of Arctur's. Obviously, the two shared a tent and needed the room for sleeping and other activities.
To that end, both tents were very magical. Not only did they have camouflage features, but their temperatures could be regulated. They also had one-way soundproofing, meaning that nobody could hear what was happening inside, but they could hear what was happening outside.
As for other camping essentials, they did have a magical shower, a portable cooking stove, a grill, and other similar items. They also had their clothes, food, and everything else stored in their rings. Basically, the trio had everything they needed to have a comfortable outing in the wild. This included an item that could set up an alarm, concealment, and basic defense ritual. The ritual wasn't particularly strong and was D Ranked, but it was very useful nonetheless, since none of them were skilled in Ritual Magic. It also wasn't infallible, as they had learned long ago, when a shadow creature had managed to sneak in. This meant that they still had to take turns on watch.
Like usual, Arctur was the first one on watch, and after eating their green friend's delicious meal, the two scuttled to their tent, ready to have some fun times.
The night passed without incident, and after Arctur finished his watch, he called out Alexion, who then woke Adriana for the last watch. In turn, Adriana waited until it was nice and light out before she woke her two friends. From there, Arctur made breakfast, and as they ate comfortably in the warm morning light, they got a notification.
?? Crystal Notice ??
Achievement Acquired: One Day at a Time.
Description: Spend one whole day in the dungeon.

Reading the notification, they all looked at each other and smiled.
Eventually, they finished their breakfast, and it was time to pack up. Packing up was an easy task since all they had to do was put everything back into their rings. However, before they did so, the couple had to get a different set of clothing. Arctur didn't need to worry about such things because he could easily morph his green suit from pajamas back to a suit or whatever else he wanted.
Alexion slept in simple and comfortable shirts and shorts. And though he would be wearing the same thing underwater so that the clothing wouldn't impede his movement, he would rather wear much more acceptable-looking clothing. Meanwhile, Adriana had changed her dress the day before, from the one that had been torn to something much simpler to sleep in. Needless to say, she had a variety of clothes for everything. She found it most comfortable to sleep in the nude, but then would change to something much more concealing when it was time for her watch. Then she would change back to nothing when it was time to go back to sleep.
For breakfast, she had worn a lovely, beautiful, embroidered dress depicting a mermaid; however, unlike the two boys, who were now wearing shorts and simple shirts. Adriana knew that the day would hold much more interest for her, as they would be spending the foreseeable future in the water. As such, all she wore was a simple pink bikini.
Leaving the tent, she found the two boys ready to go, and both looked over at her. Alexion smiled widely when he saw her, and Arctur simply looked away, shaking his head. They had both suspected what she would be wearing, as they knew what would likely transpire within a matter of minutes. It wasn't the first time the group had done work underwater, and they all knew that if she transformed, everything would be much easier. At the same time, the entire point of her wearing a bikini was also lost on them, because what she wore wouldn't make a difference, and it would have been the same whether she was completely nude or not. Of course, they also knew that she wore the bikini due to a dramatic impulse.
With Adriana ready to go, Alexion and Arctur equipped their rings for underwater exploration and began wading into the water. The two didn't need the rings to breathe and move underwater since they could use magic to negate those issues, but it was just nice not to use mana on that particular thing. Also, it's not like they would be using the enchantments that much since Adriana would basically give them a buff that did the same thing. The thing was that it was best to be prepared in case of emergencies.
It wasn't long before Adriana caught up with them and dove into the water. From there, they did activate their rings for a short while as they made it deeper into the lake. Then, once they were fully submerged, they paused to let Adriana do her thing.
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
The two boys watched as their friend brought her legs together. She then closed her eyes, and after a few seconds, the transformation began. It was something that happened all at once. The pink and light blue glimmering scales on her legs began to spread rapidly, while at the same time, the ones on her upper body disappeared. This was a swift transition, as her once scaly arms and ears quickly returned to her normal yet now even more enticing skin. The oddest thing was that her bikini top disappeared momentarily, leaving her breasts completely uncovered.
Again, it was something that both Arctur and Alexion had seen even before the elf and the mermaid began dating, so there was no issue between the two. They had seen Adriana naked plenty of times for many reasons, and though it was still compelling, it wasn’t anything new.
Of course, like always, seashells were created from the disappearing scales that had been under her breasts, and she regained a tiny bit of modesty. At the same time where the scales in her upper body disappeared, the ones in her lower body had spread to an incredible degree until no skin was left. This escalated further as the scales merged completely, taking the bikini with them and making her legs almost entirely disappear except for their general shape. And like always, the scales continue to grow outward from where her feet had been as a tail sprang out. Once the tail was complete, their friend opened her eyes, which were now a light blue and pink, along with her hair, and both looked more resplendent than before, along with her beautiful, fair skin.
Adriana gave her two friends a beautiful smile. Upon seeing this smile, the two guys felt the magic of her mermaid self take hold for a moment as they were both caught under her spell. However, they quickly reasserted themselves. For one, though Arctur found her incredibly attractive, his taste tended to be more on the wild and nature side of things. Meanwhile, Alexion was half Storm Angel, making him partially a celestial, which meant there had to be some truly strong Mind Magic to make him fall under.
On the other side of things, Adriana, upon seeing her friends again, couldn’t help but briefly want to pleasure both before drowning them, as she should do to all men. Of course, she instantly reprimanded herself for the thought and forced her mind to stabilize.
“What the fuck! She turned into a god damn mermaid!” Dan yelled inwardly as he watched the transformation take place.
After seeing her grow scales, he had assumed she was maybe half mermaid or something, but never thought in a million years that she would transform into an actual mermaid. The worst part was that when she had grown scales, she had gotten a power boost. He had been watching her soul as the transformation occurred, or more accurately, after the transformation had occurred. And not only could she use Innate Magic, but she could use water and Mind Magic at a reduced mana cost.
Of course, the most annoying thing was that her green friend was just as bad. Once his eyes began to glow, his nature magic got an incredible boost. The elf was the only one who seemed even remotely regular, at least at first. Then Dan found out that he was a god damn half-celestial. In addition to all of this, now the girl Adriana apparently had transformed into an actual fucking mermaid. And as expected from the transformation, she had gained another boost in her water and Mind Magic usage as well as mana reduction for such magic.
The entire situation was making Dan mad. The trio was incredibly overpowered, and honestly, he felt bad for any monster that tangled with them underwater.
According to Rob, his cabin wasn't far from one of the frog villages. Apparently, the man had spoken with the frog beastkin before and, as such, knew more or less the direction the party needed to head. So, after Adriana had transformed and had cast the appropriate magic on them, they began making their way towards the village.
Surprisingly, they made it to the village without encountering underwater monsters. Well, they thought they had made it to the village, but it turns out they had just reached one of the outlying lobster farms. As they later discovered, the village had more than just three or four buildings.
Moving closer to the couple of buildings, they realized there was a commotion. Normally, they wouldn’t have been able to see so far, especially under the somewhat murky water, but due to Adriana and her magic, they could see much further out.
Although they said it was a commotion, it was really more like a few groups of adventurers talking to some of the frog beastkin. As for the beastkin themselves, they were humanoid, frog-like creatures that wore almost no clothing, instead having tattered loincloths. They had green skins of varying shades, with some even sporting spots. Additionally, a few had pitchforks made of coral and metal.
Getting closer to the group of frog people and adventurers, the adventurers instantly began to stare at Adriana once they noticed her. However, spending a little mana, she mentally nudged them to stop staring. If it had been in her half form, the tactic wouldn’t have worked as well, but as she was now, the weak adventurers didn’t even know what she was doing to them. Naturally, at the same time she did this, she had to hold back the urge to pleasure the males and then drown them. Luckily, she found herself pleased and distracted by the fact that even as she currently was, the frog people didn’t look at her any differently.
It didn't take long for the trio to receive a brief explanation of what was happening. Then, when the explanation was complete, they received a notification.
