  Takumi let out a long sigh, his mind racing to the deal they made. He sat down helding his head.

  He is not sure whether to curse his luck or praise it. On the one hand, he will have access to more knowledge. Knowledge that will help him getting stronger, just like he wanted. But he will sell his body in return for that information.

  His mind gotten woozy out of the sudden, Takumi was able to find the chair before his fallen from hit the pillow as his vision got repced by the embracing darkness.

  In the next second, Takumi appeared in a bnk space. There was no sense of distance in here for him, but he didn't care about it. The thing he has attention on right now is the floating screen board in front of his face.

  There was a long list for him to see what are the new changes are. They can be shorten down to two updates, one of them being a new function for world traveling, a feature to bring other people from other worlds to his. The seccond is for him to go with [multi-mode]

  He was then transported out of this space, opening his eyes groggly. There was a brief moment needed for him to adjust his eyesight of himself and the other two bodies.

  He stands up from his couch, checking the time. It was te noon, as he was getting up and about.

  The door swung open with great force, smming against the wall as Tojiko appeared in the doorway. Her sharp gaze swept across the room, filled with urgency, her breath slightly uneven as if she had rushed to get there. But the moment her eyes met his, something shifted. The tension in her shoulders eased, though the concern in her expression did not fade completely.

  He can tell that she was relieved upon seeing him, but she didn’t let it show. Something Takumi expected was a fight, but he was still worried. Even if she was not injured in the slightest, seeing a loved one in this disheveled state is not something to ignore. Without hesitation, he moved toward her, his hands reaching up instinctively to check to see if there were any wounds on her.

  There isn't any, fortunately. Her clothes are torn, with scorch marks over her shirts and pants. The spear she picked up this morning was chipped and smeared with purple blood. Takumi can already have a guess at the identity of the person or rather, curse spirit that did this.

  "Tojiko, did you get hurt ? What happened?"

  She brushed past his concern with a simple scoff, stepping further inside and shutting the door behind her. "It’s nothin’," she muttered, rolling his shoulder as if to shake off the ache.

  She was about to give her a hug when realizing her own condition, she withdrew but Takumi went up to hug her anyway. She could feel him, so warm, he smelled great, so real. "I'm dirty." She didn't want him to be in this filth, like her.

  "I don't care, we could take a bath together."

  "Thank you." She moves her arm to close him in a hug.

  "Did anyone come by?" The question was low, almost casual, but there was an edge to it, she had to know.

  "There's always someone at my shop. My bookstore is popur among the kids, you know." He huffed as he gave an answer, he didn't want to lie.

  But had she knew, the shop would get trash and she would have a fit of rage rival that when Maki kill the cn. He could sense the tension still thrumming beneath her muscur skin.

  She exhaled through her nose, rubbing the bridge of it briefly. She knew that, of course. It wasn’t what she meant, but Toji still didn’t like the idea of just anyone getting close to her lover especially when she wasn’t around.

  "Anyone… unusual?" She pressed.

  "Not really. Just the usual kids, a couple of new faces, but nothing weird. Why? You make me worried, don't tell me you don't believe my skills, I'm fairly strong too, you know."

  Tojiko didn’t answer right away. Instead, her fingers twitched behind Takumi, the adrenaline from the fight still lingering, mixing with the lingering unease that had pushed her to rush home in the first pce.

  She trusted him, but she just didn’t trust the world he was in. The world of curses, that was her world. Tojiko would rather not let him in, but that was just not possible.

  “Just checkin’,” she muttered finally, her voice a little gruff as she rexed.

  Her rough hand then reached over, cupping Takumi's cheek for a moment, thumb grazing his skin lightly. "You sure you're okay?"

  "Told you already, i'm fine," he murmured, but this time, there was less deflection in his tone.

  The two shared a kiss, and Takumi's hand took her upstairs to clean up. The two lovers would act just as normal, with ughter and kisses. And sex. There's a lot of sex.

  'My luck stays the same.' Takumi said in a dissatisfied tone.

  Checking his stats the day after the damnable woman visit. Right now, he is at his old home while Takune and Takichi is at the other house.

  It's been a hell of a long time, and he still couldn't quite figure it out.

  Following it was agility was the stats being the lowest. And at this point, training just ain't giving him the points needed to up his stats anymore.

  Spending twelve hours just to gain a 0.1 point in strength is worthless for him to do now. By what the system told him, this is because of him getting closer to his level stats cap. Which make any of his attempt to level up harder.

  Both his Perception and Endurance are reaching so close to 100. His vision alow him to see more than good, he can catch motion and action easily out of the conner of his eyes. And his body endurance was good enough to not get hurt while in bed with Tojiko.

  Based on just his physical gain alone, he is stronger than any normal female human in this world and most likely to supass even the strongest human fenale as well. The that just normal people, for the abnormal, he was able to hold out when doing arm wrestling with Tojiko.

  He is quite proud of himself for it too, of course she didn't get serious. But that was enough for him, when in comparison to the old version of him that couldn't even stop her for even a second.

  With all the information taken in, Takumi was prepping for the next world they would travel to. This time, he turns to the [Random world key]. An easy world is what he looking for right now as it should be faster to complete.

  Takumi stuffed as many items as he could use into his inventory. Given that, he could end up in any world. He makes sure to be prepared for a lot of situations, food, water, talismans.....etc, etc. The continuation of the other worlds can wait. Right now he want to do some easier task and try to have the small quest before focusing on some big ones.

  Takichi and Takune will go through separate world gate, trying to complete as many gates as they can. And after they're done enough, maybe going to some dungeon gate too.
