"See you later, Mia!"

  Mia waved without turning around and walked out the school doors with a deep breath. Finally, she was out of school. For three weeks, too. After being in school for the first two weeks of December, it was time to go home for Christmas break. Mia and her family were planning on a trip to Flordia for the first week of the break. When they came back, they would just relax and celebrate the holiday with the rest of their family.

  Mia was super excited, she even skipped a little on the way home.

  A sharp pain flashed through her head and she sighed a little and groaned. Since she had woken up that morning, she had had a really bad headache. She just guessed that it was from sleeping to much because she had gone to bed extra early that night so she could get a little more sleep.

  I guess that wasn't such a good idea, Mia thought to herself.

  Shrugging, she continued her way home wincing every now and then when her head flashed. The headache seemed to be gettng worse. What is wrong with me? she wondered as it kept getting worse to the point where she could barely see. She stumbled off the road and into the trees, head in her hands. Her ears ringing and her mouth was throbbing.
