(Manolo is put off by this as he is wary of any move Ajani makes from observing his previous matches)

(Manolo still looks a little put off but then regains his composure again as he then gets ready to fight)

(Manolo then rushes over to Ajani and then starts to swing his nunchucks in a very poised and elegant manor this shocking Ajani since he took him as the type to just do mindless, erratic movements)
Ajani- *in head* His moves are very refined and dignified *parrying Manolo’s attacks* a little too refined even
(They go at it for a bit longer with Manolo trying his best but Ajani just casually parries every single one of his attacks, all of this going on while the onlookers ponder what is happening)
Hanzo- *in head* What could Ajani be doing? He could have ended this boy long ago but he’s dragging this out, why? *assesses the battle a little more* Could it be that he’s trying to teach him? Or is he just evaluating him?
Milenya- *in head* This Ajani proves to be a threat with how he has already dismantled the 2 previous fighters with ease, I’ll have to try my best if I’m to at least have a chance, but why is he humoring this for this long, granted this Manolo he’s fighting is very skilled with his crux but he doesn’t even seem as strong as that Ivan fellow or the Xwen guy?
(Ajani parries a few more strikes from Manolo then grabs the other end of his nunchucks stunning Manolo)
Ajani- Why do you hold back?
(Manolo and everyone else is puzzled by this as it was assumed that Manolo was giving his full strength, Manolo then pulls back as Ajani let’s go of his nunchucks)
Manolo- What do you mean?
Ajani- *lifting up his hand* I mean, what I mean, you're not using your full strength
Manolo- I hate to break it to you but this my full strength
Ajani- *puts hand on hips and head down* Boy oh Boy you don’t even know do you?

(Ajani starts to walk up to Manolo which spooks the latter a bit but he takes it in stride)

Zoraida- *in head* What could Ajani be planning here
(This surprises Manolo as he never thought of this before)
Manolo- *in head* I’ve been training all my life to be by Brother’s and Queen’s side but to think that I hadn’t been training hard enough *looks at hand and clenches it*…makes my blood boil *shakes head* no just calm down
(Ajani looks at Manolo and notices the key to his latent prowess so he then walks away from Manolo as he stops he asks)
Ajani- *serious* Would you like to continue or are you done?
(Manolo recomposing himself)
Manolo- I will continue!
(Manolo goes up to Ajani and keeps attacking him and attacking him with Ajani again parrying all that he throws his way)
Ajani- *bored/parries* Why won’t you let it out
Manolo- *strike* What?
Ajani- *pushes the nunchuck handle away* Your rage, why don’t you just let it out?
(Manolo twirls and flips the nunchucks around him charging them and then goes for a targeted strike for Ajani’s side and leg then redirects both to the sides of his head this attack would have worked if it was someone other than Ajani, since he proceeds to just catch the other end of the 2 nunchucks with 2 fingers from each hand)
Manolo- *frustrated* Why would I do that?
(Ajani flicks away the nunchucks and lightly pushes him back which makes him travel 30 feet he then tries to get up but then takes a knee)
Ajani- *walking towards Manolo* So that you can get stronger of course. When are you gonna show me your best? *hands in pockets*
Manolo- Like *pant* I’ve been saying *pant* This is my best *pant* so I don’t know what you mean *pant* by letting my rage out *exhaustive pant* (Manolo just tries to get up but fails as he is too tired
(Ajani then comes up with an idea)

(Manolo then tries to shove Ajani back but ends up on his ass as he is pushed back by the force of his own push and Ajani is barely even fazed by the attempt)
Ajani- *looking in disgust* Weakling, *turns away* this match is over
(Manolo then closes his eyes and thinks about his efforts and life)
Manolo- *in head* All my life I’ve had a short temper, it caused so many fights with other kids and got me into tons of trouble too, my parents were usually the ones to always reel me in when ever I had an outburst then it was my brother when they passed; My brother’s amazing he can keep a cool head in most situations and he was what I strived to be like so from that day forward I had vowed to always keep that rage in check to never let that creature see the light of day and to keep it locked away in my psyche I started to view resolving my conflicts without anger but *looks at Ajani* this fucking…KID is trying to tell me that my cursed temper will make me stronger? I only tolerated him because I thought he was a good guy, his relationship with Zoraida and because I was taught to be respectful but *seething/glaring* now he proceeds to tarnish my efforts along with Zoraida!?

(Joaquin starts to shoot at Ajani while he’s in the air so Ajani just swipes away all of the bullets with ease and when he lands he just says)
Ajani- *clapping hands* Nzuri sana (Very nice) let’s go again
Joaquin- *bothered* What are you doing?
Ajani- Oh what do you mean? *kicks rocks*
Joaquin- Why are you all of a sudden so jovial and coy? You were more serious last round, what changed?

(They both start their dance of bullets and dodges then melee combat rinse and repeat)
Joaquin- *in head/shooting at a falling Ajani* Why does he keep letting me do this to him, I can tell he’s not serious but why?
(Joaquin then remembers)
Ajani- *smiling* Oh nothing *looks at Joaquin* just my opponent
(Ajani lands on the ground)
Joaquin- With what you said earlier about what had changed why did you mean by “just my opponent”
Ajani- *humoring him* I meant what I meant, my opponent changed and so I did as well
Joaquin- *annoyed* I’m not taking that bullshit considering you were the same with your last 3 opponents, just tell me already
Ajani- Alright then, the reason is because I was seeing if there was something in you so our last few contacts I was doing the same thing trying to see how long it would take for you to catch on, you struck me as different from your brother so I tested you and I came to a conclusion
Joaquin- And what would that be?
Ajani- That you seem to be holding your brother back
(Joaquin didn’t even know what to say to this and so he asks him)
Joaquin- *fires some more rounds at Ajani* What do you mean?
Ajani- *dodging* What I mean is that you both fight very elegantly you even more so and it seems Manolo thinks so as well so he decided to imitate your fighting style
(Ajani goes in closer for a quick hand to hand)
Joaquin- *taking offense a little/parries* And what’s wrong with my fighting style
Ajani- *backflips away* Nothing it’s just not the right style for your brother so you should maybe tell him to let go of his rage but also to keep it under control don’t let him be angry all the time you know *smiles*
