Tales of Eleutheros Art/illustrations

As some of you may know, there have been some inquiries into a more visual representation of Tales of Eleutheros. Some of the older characters have a face already, per the previous art-dump-chapter in book 2. Fortunately, with the help of a few very talented people, and with AI, many of these other characters have actually been given a face. I know AI is a touchy subject when it comes to art, but for situations like this, it really comes in handy. (Please be gentle)

With all that being said, here are some pictures of the main characters, updated to their current likeness in the story up to this point. (With the exception of Greyson, Dorian, and Ashley. This is before their disguises.)

First up, is of course, Daniel. This depicts Daniel in his full plate armor, with his summoned blade in hand; glowing with a brilliant golden light. He's taken the time to shave too. He is a prince now, afterall.

Second, we have Katrina. She's a Hego now, and has a bunch of new responsibilities to boot. With this new position, comes the crimson cloak, and a more ornate piece of armor to go with it.

Third is, you guessed it, Robert. Or, Reku, for those of you who happen to be Dae. He is King of the Visgo clan, and as such, sports their deep yellow clan colors on his cloak. This picture also shows his new prosthetic arm; courtesy of Boros Ignos in book 2. The Cugorii hand is covered by his illusion Dunamis ability. He keeps it covered in the book, so I felt he should do the same in the art.

Now, here come the new guys. This picture is of Greyson. A character who has been seeing a lot more "type-time" recently, and deservedly so. His story is key to the plot moving forward, and I hope this picture does him justice. He's wearing the armor he picked up off of Lord Lytro in book 3. The same Dae whose identity he assumed. It's a little beat up, but it gets the job done.

You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version.

This next one is of Dorian, he's a little quiet in the book, but still a really important character. As with the image above, he's wearing armor that was scavenged off the warriors of Visoth who attacked them. He's also displaying a bit of his Dae-Voh Dunamis powers.

And last of the anti-hero group is Ashley. She's a little hot headed at times, but she's been through the ringer so far in Pelemont, so who can blame her? As with her two companions above, she is wearing "borrowed" armor pieces. In this picture, she's showing a bit of her inner fire, displayed in the form of her Dunamis.

These last few are must haves for a place in the art chapter. We begin with Daniel's beloved wife, Avria. Princess of Lokkon, and still one of the most prominent characters in the story so far. In this picture she's in her battle attire; so, the gold and luxuriously fine clothing of her station, stayed at the palace.

On to Alektor, the High King of Eleutheros, and a certified grump on pretty much every issue; according to Katrina at least. He's sitting on a stone throne, draped in appropriate attire for his position. There hasn't been a clear picture of him until now, and I hope he meets all of your expectations. He's not wearing his bone crown though, he doesn't like it, and only puts it on when he has to.

Finally, we have Dio'Mar herself. The spirit has been a bit of a mystery for many of you, I know. People have wondered what she actually looked like for a while. Here she is, in her humanoid form, of course. She has the ability to change her appearance at will, but this is how she presents herself, most of the time. I hope it was worth the hype.

I know the concept art thing is a bit dull for some people, but seeing characters and concepts fleshed out like this really makes a difference. The world of Tales of Eleutheros has so many things in it, and I know it's impossible to throw it all up here; but I wanted to share what little I could for everyone, and the people who were curious enough to ask for it.
