Chapter 182: Eradicator Battle(3)

The dull armor that cloaked the creature lit with sickly green glow, smoke boiling out violently. The power of Dan’s collapse slammed against the armor’s strange resistance, their clash ripping through the snowfield in waves of suffocating force. Aura that collapsed clashed with an armor that denied, fueled by the Ash of Negation.

For a breathless moment, they were locked, collapse and negation, destruction and denial.

Then the Eradicator’s arm swung violently.

  Boom!!!

Its massive fist smashed against Dan’s body, breaking the stalemate. Dan’s form was hurled downward, tearing into the snowy ground with a deafening crash. Snow exploded upward like waves of white mist.

The Eradicator did not hesitate. It's body surged forward, preparing to follow with another strike. But just as its fist drew back, something pricked the back of its instincts.

  Danger.

It whirled its arm backward, swinging blind with enough force to shatter the possiblities of all existences it met.

Yet the strike landed on nothing. The air itself mocked it... empty.

  It was a trick.

Before it could turn fully, the Eradicator felt it.. an impact crashing against its back, not a physical strike but a collapsing force that threatened to collapse its existence from within. Its armor flared, negating the effect of the collapse, denying it. But the sheer impact was enough to drive the massive body downward, slamming it into the snowy earth.

The ground split beneath its weight. Ice fractured outward in jagged webs as the Eradicator landed heavily, its armored knees grinding against frost. Its helm tilted upward, green smoke spilling as it looked toward the darkened sky.

From above, a figure descended slowly, calmly.

The snow swirled around him in silence, settling against the black fabric of his coat, yet leaving it untouched, immaculate. He looked no more than fourteen, dark blue hair rough against the cold wind, deep blue eyes calm and unreadable, like the sea at its stillest depth. His expression did not flicker. He only stared at the entity below with an indifferent gaze, his presence radiating like the silent pull of a tide.

And that figure was none other than Dan.

His boots touched the snow without a sound. Breath misting faintly, his voice broke the still air, unruly as ever.

“Try harder if you want to lay a scratch on me next time.”

At once, a suffocating aura poured outward from Dan's sheer existence, exploding like an unseen tide. It wasn’t just pressure.. it was the very aura of collapse, stretching across all existences around, collapsing everything that dared to touch what he chose to protect.

  Rooaar!!

A deafening roar erupted, tearing through the icy wasteland like thunder splitting the heavens. The Eradicator’s voice was not just sound.. it was will made audible, a declaration that everything before it would be negated. From its darkened armor, a suffocating aura erupted, pressing outward with crushing force. It was not merely protection. It was defiance given form, a presence that negated all intent, all touch, all intrusion.

  Whoosh...!

The Eradicator surged forward. Its charge was not something logic could measure. Speed flattened into something beyond comprehension, a blur that swallowed distance in the blink of an eye.

  Booom!!

Fist met fist in a collision that split reality on impact. The ground quaked beneath their hovering figures, the shockwave rattling snow, scattering ice shards like glass. Dan and the Eradicator hung suspended, bodies locked in the frozen sky, their clash a violent standoff of sheer force strained against sheer force.

  Bam! Bam! Boom!

Dan’s fists hammered against the Eradicator’s armor, each strike sharp enough to collaspe any existences it deems unworthy, swift enough to tear through reality. Yet every blow dissolved into nothing. The impact slid away, negated by the invisible veil coating the armor.. Ash of Negation

The Eradicator responded in kind. Its hand snapped forward, reaching for Dan’s throat with brutal speed. But the instant its gauntlet neared him, the attempt faltered. Dan’s aura, the Collapse born from his Lime-state, crushed inward on itself, collapsing the assault before contact could be made. What should have been a killing grab, collapsed, leaving only sparks of clashing wills grinding against one another.

The two remained caught in that moment, a deadlock. Neither touch could pass, neither strike could land. Their powers canceled, not through balance, but through refusal of recognition.

From the distance, Liz stood among the snowdrifts, her frame wrapped in thick ash-colored coat. Her emerald eyes narrowed, her breath a pale cloud in the cold air. She waited, not rushing, watching carefully for an opening where her intervention could matter.

Her brows knitted tighter as the fight raged. This battle was already in a deadlock before it even began… She thought, her gaze never leaving them. Dan’s Collapse presses from one side, collapsing everything… while the Eradicator has an armor that is imbued with the Ash of Negation.

The Eradicator’s armor seethed in dark smoke, the green vapor spilling out of the mask-like helm and swirling around its form. Each tendril carried the weight of negation, a silent reminder of the Ash within.

And this was no ordinary Ash.

It was one of the Ashes.. neither energy nor paradox, yet it annihilates both. Before existence could be conceived, before laws could stack into order, before hierarchy and unbound truths dared to find footing, the Ash had already negated them. It obeyed nothing, for obedience required something above it. It resisted nothing, for resistance gave weight to its opposition. It simply is.. the absolute, irrevocable negation of all things.

Life. Death. Absence. Infinity. Concepts beyond concepts, truths beyond truths, powers that rewrite existence, all crumbled before it. Not even the foundational layers, nor the un-foundational that lay beneath, escaped its reach. To touch it was to be negated. To look upon it, to even seek to perceive through it, was to invite negation.

There was no overpowering it. No path around it. No survival against it.

The Ash did not protect. It negated.

And as long as it lingers, nothing... nothing!! could pierce what it shielded.
