As he arrived at Reino's backyard, Zalroth felt a chill run down his spine, like someone was aiming some hostility towards him, which he soon discovered to be emanating from none other than the two Imperiou resting against the ironwood shed. Identifying the source of his spine chill, Zalroth slumped his shoulders in displeasure, cursing out whoever brought those two girls with them through the portal, as he placed Yumi Yuna on the floor.
"Look who decided to come crawling back, after having cast us aside," Gnawraul grumbled under her non-existent breath, a faint metalic rattle escaping from her metalic form as her annoyance only grew stronger at Zalroth's appearance.
"Gnawraul, you're being un-pragmatic. If we hadn't overslept, then we'd probably have our humanoid forms by now, so we have no one to blame but ourselves," Peuonie retorted to her fellow Imperiou, her tone unshaking in its elegance and propperness, despite the equal amount of frustration emanating from her own metal form.
The two swords continued to bicker, locked into their verbal battle to such a deep level that neither of them noticed Zalroth picking them up by their handles. The bickering went on relentlessly, with not even the aggressive swinging Zalroth put them through being capable of breaking them out of their concentration, much to Zalroth's annoyance. He lightly scoffed before sending the sword duo into his Inventory, doing so on instinct as his mind wanted to get rid of the torrent of bickering.
It took him a second, but he eventually registered what he had just done. However, the shock of his reactionary action didn't last long as the bickering of the two Imperiou exploded once again, telepathically transferred directly into his brain as opposed to through his ears.

Zalroth was left stunned, leaning slightly forward from his crooked posture at being blindsided by the thing he'd assumed would've taken a great deal of effort to achieve, had in fact been achieved by complete accident. Having to force his body to move, Zalroth turned his rigid head to the side and was inindated by the mixed looks on the four members of the Craft-Squad's faces.
"Woah," Luna remarked, her tone filled with expectant surprise.
[Luna Soukodawn is a slightly tall, light brown skinned, nineteen-year-old, teenaged human female; she has super curly white hair that's long enough to cover her head entirely, white eyes, and well-endowed breasts]
[Luna is wearing a fluffy dark pink blouse with a butterfly-styled pattern all over it and extra long sleeves to extend over her hands, slightly padded black and white striped trousers, dark pink velcro shoes, and multiple metalic different-coloured butterfly hairpins in her hair]
"Yeah, leave it to Zalroth's jinx to ruin his own plans," Nagami mentioned cheekily, getting a few barely stifled snickers from her fellow Craft-Squad members, which only served to agitate Zalroth further.
"I know you like to tease Zalroth and all, but isn't there a chance he'll stop helping if you do it too much?" Nekoura asked dispassionately, constantly flicking the stick of her lollipop between each corner of her lips with a playful swish.
[Phimona Nekoura is rather tall, dark skinned, teenaged human female: she has braided dark blue hair styled into hoops, flat chested, slightly chubby thighs and legs, and dark purple eyes]
[Nekoura is wearing an obnoxiously large silver zip-up hoodie with spikey rabbit ears and its sleeves removed that she wears constantly open, a dark purple knitted blouse with a woven-in gold hoop on the chest, dark purple pantyhose, dark blue fluffy slippers with ironwood bases, and dark purple solidified slime sun-glasses]
"Do you think he'd be that petty?" Yumi Yuna asked cheekily, using a faked sense of innocence behind her words, knowing full well Zalroth wouldn't even so much as raise his voice in protest, no matter what the four might ask of him during the project. Mentally vexed at the position he was forced into because of Yumi Yuna, Zalroth held his tongue, knowing the cherubic-faced teen would spout her lie in a heartbeat if he were to do so.

While mentally trapped in his mind, Nagami grabbed Zalroth by the wrist, gently leading the unaware guy towards the draped-off area beside the ironwood shed. With the other three grabbing the other three drapes, Nagami clutched ahold of one of the divider drapes tightly with her free hand before the Craft-Squad strongly yanked the drapes away. Behind the once obstructing drapes, the group's project was revealed to be the neatly organised components for some sort of quadbike-sized contraption, laid out on a smooth stone slab.
"My~ to think you'd have already shaped all those materials in such a short time," Trikuel retorted playfully as she looked at the circular oracalcum frame pieces, an size matching orachalcum drill, a hula hoop-sized mythril ring with holes around its edge, along with other miscellaneous bits and pieces.
With a playful flick of her long twin tails, Yumi Yuna stated contentiously, "At least, someone can appreciate our skills."
"Alright, now all you need to do is hold the parts of the go-kart when we need you to," Nagami explained happily, which seemed to snap Zalroth back from his mindscape with how out of the blue the word go-kart was in this situation.
"Go-kart?" Zalroth asked, puzzled how a drill had anything to do with a go-kart, as Trikuel turned one of her nails into a nail file before grinding it against one of her fangs.
But as she picked at her teeth, a waft of steam passed Trikuel's nose, snapping her head in the direction of the potential food. The trail of steam led her attention to the slightly ajar shed door, goading the mimic into following it, undoubtedly the work of Haruko's cooking. Her eye began to well up, the smell of the food was unlike anything she'd ever smelled before, giving her a strange sensation, but one adjacent to the hunger the good-smelling food already caused. Like her brain had been shut off, a trickle of liquid escaped her mouth, and, given her choice in form, it was hard to tell if she was crying or drooling.
"It'll make more sense when it's put together... I think," Nekoura explained in confusion, only vaguely aware of what the thing even looked like thanks to the project sketches Nakamai made for them. While Zalroth was being shown the sketches, he abruptly swung forward, headbutting the ironwood shed, from Trikuel dismounting his back so abruptly.
With Trikuel booking it for where the food was, Zalroth slowly brought a hand to his face and lightly rubbed his forehead, not out of pain but from the confusion of not feeling any pain. Under his breath, Zalroth uttered, "Hmm."
"You okay?" the Craft-Squad members asked with various levels of concern, ranging from Yumi Yuna's and Nekoura's mild reaction to Luna's normal one, and then there was Nagami's almost tearful face.
With the faint sound of Imperiou's dying bickering, Zalroth retorted swiftly with, "Just peachy."
Not wasting a second more, the girl's got to work on putting the contraption's components together, screwing the mythril hoop into the inside of the lower frame for a start
Followed by them getting Zalroth to move heavier pieces to the correct places before they connected or attached them. This process was repeated for the better part of ten minutes until all the components were in their intended place and the two parts of the frame had been joined together.
After reaching down to grab something from the stone slab, Nekoura hoisted the bowl-shaped padded royal blue cushion with golden buttons over her head, almost losing her balance from overestimating the cushion's weight, as she swung upright. Leaving no wasted effort, she spun on the heel of her wooden-based slippers before tossing the cushion at the go-kart, landing perfectly in the seat section and patted down by Yumi Yuna. With the aircraft-like steering wheel in hand, Nagami excitedly leaned over the side of the frame, resting her belly on the now-padded rim as she attached the golden steering wheel's shaft into its socket through the square gap in the padding.
"Imagine if Nekoura had lossed the bet and had to do this," Yumi Yuna said in a hushed snicker, to Luna, as she pointed at Nagami's flat butt. Despite Yumi Yuna's attempt at a joke, Luna completely missed it as she mentioned that if Nekoura was the one doing it, she'd take at least an hour to do it. Yumi Yuna slumped her shoulders in a pout, forgetting that Luna can't tell when something is meant as a joke unless it is pointed out to her.
"What are you two on about?" Zalroth asked, cutting whatever strange one-sided conversation the two girls were having and stopping it from getting any more out of hand.
"Oh, we had a bet while we were making the frame pieces, that whoever lost at rock-paper-scissors had to be the one to socket the control stick thing," Yumi Yuna explained gleefully, glad she had gotten out of the rock-paper-scissors match in the first round.
"I still don't-"
Following a crystaline click, a sudden electromagnetic whirlling and swooshing cut Zalroth off, causing the guy to unamusedly frown as Nagami's distorted plea for help rang through his ears and managed to drown out the Imperiou's faint bickering.
"Zzzaaaalllllrooootth... HHhhhhhhheeeeeelllllpppp," Nagami pleaded as she desperately clung to the steering wheel, inadvertently causing the speed of the go-kart's upper frame to spin even faster than before. Zalroth lightly scoffed, catching the other three girls by surprise, particularly because of how soft it was and the small smirk on his face being a new sight for them.
