Kiara looked at the tall woman once more and Mythra still gave her that small smile that seemed quite a bit knowing. She then walked to a staircase that was leading down. There was so much laughter and smiles from the patrons. Kiara saw Zyli talking to another horned girl. They were giggling about something. The horned girl was young and had to be about Zyli’s age. She had curly silver hair that fell to her shoulders and seemed to shimmer in the lanterns’ lights. Whenever she looked at Zyli, her lips would spread out into a beautiful smile and big dimples would appear.
Zyli suddenly burst out laughing. She leaned forward and put a hand on the wooden table. She kept laughing so hard. “That is so silly!”
The other girl laughed too and put a hand on Zyli’s. Her fingers caressed Zyli’s fingers before Zyli leaned over and kissed her. Kiara watched with surprise as the two-horned girls kissed. No one paid them any attention but Kiara and they had that intimate moment to themselves.
Zyli leaned back and looked at the other girl with so much affection. “I am going to miss you.” Tears came to her eyes and began to cascade down her cheeks. The other woman stood up and gave Zyli a long deep hug. When she pulled back, she also had tears in her eyes.
“I am going to miss you too, my dear,” She said. She was trying to smile but it was filled with so much sadness. “But, I will be back in just a short few weeks. It will be like I never left!”
Zyli nodded but tears were streaming down her cheeks now. She hugged the other horned girl again and then they both kissed once more before the girl departed. Zyli stood there watching her go for a moment. Her face was consumed by sadness. When a patron called out to her, it took Zyli a while to respond. When she did turn to the patron, a warm smile returned to Zyli’s face. She took the order and then moved on to the other patron.
Kiara had watched Zyli’s interaction with the other horned girl with sympathy. She wondered where the girl was going as well as how long Zyli and her had been together. Since she had arrived at this place, Zyli had been nothing but upbeat and chipper. It was sad to see her look so downhearted. Kiara felt a strong urge to cheer her up which surprised her. But first, she had to get down to the lower level to find that tea.
She hurried to the stairs and went down. The stairs creaked as she went down and when she got down to the ground level, she felt a small chill in the room. The wooden floor was spotless and looked like it was cleaned daily. In the room were many shelves that had small bottles and jars filled with a variety of leaves and coffee beans. There were so many colors that abounded in the room!

On the walls of the room were several lanterns that illuminated all of the bottles of tea leaves and coffee beans. Kiara was wowed by it all as her eyes tried to look everywhere at once. She saw a jar filled with purple leaves that seemed to sparkle. She went up the jar and looked at the leaves for a moment in wonder. Her curiosity to open the jar and smell the tea leaves overtook her. She gently grabbed the jar and opened it.
“Whoa!” Kiara’s eyes grew large as the tea leaves fragrance was so powerful. The strong scent of the leaves almost took aback her nostrils. She could not exactly place what the tea leaves smelled like as so many things she smelled. It was like cinnamon mixed with jasmine mixed with oranges. She closed the jar and set it back on the shelf.
On another shelf, there was a jar that was filled with dark green leaves that were quite tiny. Kiara went up to it and grabbed it. When she opened the jar, she was greeted with a sweet smell that was not too strong. She breathed it in for a bit and then set it down.
She saw one shelf that had many colorful beans inside of the the jars. Yellow, purple, white, gold, pink, and many other colors were everywhere. She went to a jar with pink beans and she opened it.
Kiara giggled in surprise. The pink beans smelt like strawberry cheesecake! There was no other scent that popped into her mind as she took in the amazing fragrance of it. She closed the jar and set it back down.
Now, where did Mythra say the Biswanwood tea is at? Kiara thought. She noticed that none of the jars had names on them. She also had never heard of Biswanwood tea not that she was a tea drinker in general but it was not a familiar tea.
She looked at the jars of tea leaves with a frown as she tried to guess what Biswanwood tea leaves would look like. She stood there pondering it for a moment before the reality of her situation came back and made her laugh.
“What am I doing?! I don’t work here! I don’t care about finding this tea! I need to figure out how to get out of here!” Kiara said in a loud voice. She turned to leave with the thought of sneaking out again but this time grabbing a coat when there was a strong familiar scent that drifted to her nose. She turned around and frowned as she inhaled this scent.
“Wait…what is that…” She said. She walked past several shelves and made her way to the back of the room. She came across a long shelf that had tea leaves in small vials. There had to be about over fifty of them on the shelves.
That familiar scent seemed to get stronger as Kiara approached the shelf. She saw a reddish tea leave in a vial in the middle of the shelf. She reached out and the scent gote even stronger. Kiara looked at the vial in curiosity and for some strange reason, she knew without a doubt that the vial in her hand contained the Biswanwood tea leaves!
It was like the leaves had beckoned her to them but also she somehow smelt these leaves before as well! It was like she was very familiar with these leaves. Kiara stood there for a moment once again wondering what the heck was going on!
