“This isn’t real.”
“What isn’t?”
“It’s all a dream.”
“What?”
“Wake up.”
Gaia woke up. The dream felt so vivid as if she was in it, living it, breathing it. She liked that reality better than the one she woke up in. She saw an angel. He was large, as tall as the ceiling. He had big white feathers that would have spanned the whole room if he spread out his wings. She heard of angels before but she never saw one.
This was the first time she saw one in a dream.
“There you are.”

“You were looking for me?”
“I’m always watching you.”
“Always?”
“How can I protect you if I don’t watch you?”
“Are you an angel?”
“Nah. Just one of your guides.”
“What do you want to do now?”
“Nothing. Just enjoying the moment while it lasts.”
Gaia woke up. She couldn’t quite figure out who she was dreaming about. It wasn’t an angel. It wasn’t anyone that she recognized. However, his energy was very familiar, as if she had known him before. It was like being reunited with a long lost family member, friend, lover, animal. Something that she trusted, valued, and cherished. She wanted to find out what would happen in the dream, but she woke up before she got to find out.
She was circulating the room. Her eyes were watching the students in their desks, making sure they were listening to the speaker and acting respectful of the guest. She has heard of the speaker before but never met this person in real life. He knew a lot about math and science. They made a good team. While he was teaching a lesson, she was managing the classroom. There was not one student that was misbehaving or talking out of turn since she was there. Anyone that would cause her any problems would have to deal with her and the parents.
Gaia woke up.
