Chapter 61: Holy Judgement.
(Celia’s POV)
Once the light vanished, a woman, who was clearly a Goddess, was now in the room with us. If it was a normal situation, the people here would probably be bowing to this woman. But they all seemed conflicted, as we four were clearly far above this Goddess.
Prince: “Goddess Veinie, these four “Higher Beings” have taken refuge in our kingdom, forcing us to pamper and please them via their might… Please liberate us!” He said, bowing on the ground, practically groveling at the woman’s feet.
As for this Goddess Veinie… heh. She was clearly freaking the fuck out. And why shouldn’t she? Nina and Mena are Supreme Goddesses, while I am a Highest Goddess, and Faith is… probably some higher, unknown race.
Veinie: “I…” Her words were cut off.
Faith: “Your believers have called upon you to deal with us… What will you do?” She asked.
Veinie: “…”
Immediately, the Goddess had jumped to her knees, right in front of us. The woman was obviously using all of her brain power right now, probably thinking that she needs to please us to not die. Seemingly… she knew me.

Veinie: “Oh, fair and regal Highest Goddess Celia, please spare me!” She pleaded, looking me in the eye with a sad expression.
Celia: “…How did that item even work? You aren’t strong enough to be involved in the game, so you should be watching it play out, right?” I ask with a curious tone, ignoring the prince whose mouth was now agape.
Veinie: “Yes, I was watching it! This fool of a prince… he used an item that only works once every 100 years. Apparently… it can summon me, even while the game is ongoing.” She quickly explained.
Oh? I guess that explains how she got here. Hm… Ruina and Nemu really need to patch so many exploits in the next version of the game. After all, the next version won’t be a death game, so cheating should really be stamped out completely.
Faith: “Enough groveling, fool. Kill the man, and go back to watching the game play out.” She ordered.
Before the prince could react, Veinie had appeared in front of him, and then she used some kind of magic to obliterate him in full. Not even blood was left of the poor prince…
Faith: “Ah, now that the annoyance is dealt with… you maids shall continue to pamper us in the bath.” She said, getting up from the chair and giving the maids new orders.
Faith was absolutely the most dominant one around at the moment, so all followed her way. The knights, probably fearing their deaths, all soon ran away as we walked toward them. And before I knew it… I was relaxing in the bath.
Mena: “Damn… After living in Heaven for so long, I fear that there isn’t really any place that rivals how luxurious it is.” She said with a sigh.
Faith: “Home is better. Far, far better, in fact.” She said while rubbing the girl’s head.
Nina: “Hey! Pat my head too!” She said with a pouty tone.
Yeah, yeah. Just keep having a normal conversation. Am I really the only one that is bothered with this situation? Veinie was still here, sitting in the bath with us, blatantly still terrified out of her mind. Is… I wasn’t aware that Faith was secretly a sadist…
