Volume 9. Chapter 6: Continued Celebration. (Chapter 807.)

  Chapter 6: Continued Celebration.

Their intimate act was witnessed by all, giving them conflictions of every kind. It was sweet… but not lewd, making them unsure if these two would get married, or if they just had a good relationship.

Rien and Amei were equally speechless. In front of Celia, Alisa’s expressions and tone of voice were… vivid. The woman had shed her coldness, and the worst part, having never seen Alisa act like this… the two could see that it wasn’t a trick.

Celia: “You’re so needy, Alisa. Tell me… is not too weird… for me, a girl who turned 18 on this very day… to be your mother?” She asked with a giggle.

  Rien: “Eh?!”

  Amei: “Eh?!”

  Carma: “Eh?!”

Ehings occurred all around. Celia wasn’t quiet when speaking just now, with practically every attendee hearing her words.

Alisa: “Would you deny your daughter, Mom?” She pouted, nestling into Celia’s arms, ignoring her manners and dignity of a royal.

Celia: “Never.” She denied, now rubbing Alisa’s head tenderly.

Felta’s heir was confused for years. She couldn’t tell if… she wanted to marry Celia, be her friend, or somehow get adopted by her. After thinking it over hard… Alisa went with being her daughter.

Rien wasn’t a horrible mother, but was an absent one, due to her being an empress. Though, even if she did properly fulfill her motherly role, Alisa’s Soul could only see Celia as her true mother. This fact persisted, despite Alisa carrying none of her memories from her past tragic life.

Rien: “Alisa, we’ll leave you alone with… Princess Celia.” She said, wisely leaving the royal’s platform, going down the steps to go and mingle with other nobles.

Celia: “She left before you could answer…” She said with a shocked tone.

Alisa: “It’s fine, she was just surprised that I see you as more of a mom than her.” She replied with an unbothered tone, still snuggled into Celia’s body.

Carma: “…” “At least she isn’t trying to court Celia. I’ve had my hands overfilled dealing with just Ria, Midas, and Maralia alone.” She thought with a deadpan tone.

Seeing a 22-year-old woman, one who was the heir to the most powerful empire… embrace and accept a girl 4 years younger than herself as a mother…. Is crazy. Acting smart, the attendees acted as if this was normal behavior, returning to, and enjoying, this festive coming of age celebration for Princess Celia.

Celia: “Will you be attending Veil, Alisa? I assume that it was you who got Carma, and I admission slips to it.” She asked with a curious tone.

Alisa: “That was my mother’s doing, in fact. It truly was an apology for almost having you be killed.” She clarified with a sigh.

Celia: “Then… will you not be going?” She repeated with a caring expression, not willing to part with the woman whom she had strangely adopted.

Alisa: “I am going! Rather, I was waiting for you to come of age first. We shall enter those prestigious halls together, Celia.” She answered with quickness, assuring her mother of their continued companionship.

Mein: “…” “I’m going to retire the exact second that Carma graduates! My mind cannot handle more of Celia’s… absurdness.” He thought with a tone of pure defeat and weariness.
