  Chapter 25: Getting Some Answers.

Guanyu: “What happened to our realm, Zexian? Only I should have ended up in this Universe, this Dimension…” She asked with a serious tone.

Zexian: “You destroyed the Luo Sect, second to mine, who practiced full morals. And then… you vanished. Our world couldn’t hold on after that, the balance of Ying and Yang completely ruined.” She answered with a solemn tone.

This Cultivator, who was in the same Realm as Guanyu, didn’t care much for the Luo Sect. Rather than the Demon Empress’s fault for their world collapsing, it was the Luo’s doing. They went against Ying and Yang, trying to kill the Demon Empress, who was needed for the world’s balance.

Celia: “And how did you get to this Dimension?” She asked with a curious tone.

Zexian: “Everything… started to fall apart. Floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions… plagued the land until nothing was left. But… then there was a flash, and we found ourselves in this Dimension.” She explained, still not certain how this happened.

Without Qi, a Cultivator wouldn’t ever feel safe, or at home, nor could they Cultivate. So the Sect Leaders all banded together, using their full power, to forcefully convert this island to produce Qi.

Guanyu’s assumption was correct. She could even see how weak Zexian was for her level of Cultivation, clearly still in the midst of healing, even now.

Guanyu: “Do you have any intentions of taking over this world?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Zexian: “It would be pointless to do that. Apart from this island, there is no other place where Qi exists. And neither of us has the strength to convert any more land to produce Qi…” She denied with a groan.

Even in a different Universe, a Dimension without Cultivation, Heaven was still accessible. Everyone had come to this conclusion, one where they should Cultivate in peace, ascend to Heaven, and then do whatever they please afterwards.

Celia: “What of Jeru, and how Veil kidnaps people, forcing them into the path of Cultivation?” She said with a still intrigued tone and expression.

Zexian: “More Cultivators… only helps our goal. Besides, the Academy of Veil had long since stopped existing. We were put in such a bind, with so many Goddesses wishing to attend…” She replied with an embarrassed tone.

Guanyu: “What do you mean?” She said with confusion.

Zexian: “No one here, besides the weakened Sect Leaders at their full strength, is strong enough to mind control a Goddess. We already stopped letting people attend the nonexistent Academy… but we couldn’t refuse to let the world know of our existence, with Felta being too important to deny requests of.” She explained, further embarrassed.

For one as powerful as herself… this situation was extremely embarrassing. Invaders to this Dimension, they converted an important place so that they could continue Cultivation. This would… obviously cause a war.

Guanyu: “I see, I see. Zexian, I need access to your hunting grounds.” She requested sternly.

Zexian: “What for? You aren’t in any need of… monster resources, Demon Empress. I never heard of you being greedy…” She replied with her arms crossed.

Guanyu: “My wife, my Dao, still has a System. Killing monsters helps her grow in strength, and Evolution.” She nonchalantly answered.

  Zexian: “(~OAO)”
