Chapter 71: Needed Meeting Of The Wills.
Unfortunately, Xena wasn’t aware of the stability problems that every Universe and Existence was going through. After all, it has never happened before.
In truth, this is a quirk of Runey’s renewed, better functioning Systems. Every place was now taking up more energy than it could produce, something which wasn’t expected to happen.
Runey: “Apologies, no one has ever tested the limits of what a Universe could output… Should I just roll back to an older version? At least, for the less important Dimensions?” She suggested with worry.
Xena: “No, that isn’t a good idea. That’d just send various Dimensions, Universes even… into pure chaos.” She instantly denied.
Those in the room also chimed in, giving out their solutions for this problem. As previously mentioned, it’d take a very long time before this truly becomes a significant problem. So everyone was pretty calm during this discussion, despite it being a large meeting of so many Wills Of Existence.
Reen: “Perhaps there is a better solution to this collapse oddity?” She said with a thinking pose.
Xena: “If there is… I haven’t thought of it just yet.” She replied with a sigh.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Runey: “Maybe…” She cut herself off.
Regardless of how serious this meeting was, Runey didn’t feel like her idea was okay. In all likelihood, it’d work, but the woman wasn’t willing to accidentally burn a bridge which she just built…
Xena: “Runey, please tell us your idea.” She pleaded.
Runey: “…I won’t do it, but, Xena… perhaps Celia has a solution? I mean, if we ask her, that is.” She answered with some reluctance.
Xena: “( ’-’ ~)”
After gaining such an important job, Xena became quite prideful, as well as pompous. That was… until she met Celia again, and Xena’s pride and worldview were shattered anew.
Reen: “Celia? From what I’ve heard… that girl led an interesting life, drastically changing how various Existences work in the process. But… could she really hold a solution for us?” She mused with a thinking pose, not aware of how Celia always does the impossible, mostly by accident.
Xena: “My hesitation isn’t from her not being able to do so. Rather… she likely can, but that’d make us feel very foolish. After all, we wouldn’t have been the ones to come up with it.” She clarified with an embarrassed tone and expression.
Reen: “…”
This option… was put to the side, while other opinions were then flooded within the meeting. But, in the end… not a single person came up with a usable solution, making them all just further confused on how Celia, a woman who was only recently a mortal, could problem solve better than they could.
Xena: “…Celia is our best bet, it seems.” She expressed with a tone of defeat.
Runey: “You’ll have to ask her, Xena. I am not willing to damage my relationship with Celia. I did just become her daughter, you know…” She said with a slightly demanding, but weak tone.
Xena: “(- _ -)”
