Volume 9. Chapter 73: A Chance To Help Her, Finally... (Chapter 874)

Chapter 73: A Chance To Help Her, Finally...

  Everyone: “…”

  Celia: “( ’-’ ~)”

Up until now, the others did not realize how limited Celia’s knowledge base was. Frankly, it wasn’t entirely their fault, as Celia was always one to just go with the flow. Both in her last life, and in this one, as well.

Though, Celia is also greatly self-sacrificing, as they all know. As such, she didn’t reach out about the holes in her knowledge, which were great in number when compared to her family members…

Midas: “How exactly should we go about this?” She asked with a serious tone.

Ruina: “Isn’t it simple? We can just give her all the needed information, via Memory Sharing Magic, can’t we?” She suggested without much worry.

Maralia: “We could, yes. But… what if we give Celia too many memories, and accidentally cause the now perfect woman to return to her poisonous ways?” She expressed with an extreme tone.

Celia: “…” “I mean, the secret of them knowing me in my last life… has long since been revealed. But… why’re they still trying to be secretive about my past, while not even bothering to whisper this conversation?” She thought with many conflictions.

At this point, Celia’s family wasn’t certain that she wouldn’t become broken like she was back then. If they had known her from the first life, they wouldn’t think this. Of course, one of them did…

Ria: “Celia wasn’t absurd back then, during that apocalypse. If we limit the amount of past memories she receives… there shouldn’t be a problem.” She somewhat confidently informed.

  The Wives: “…”

  Ria: “?”

  The Daughters: “…”

  Zia and Ria: “???”

Since she wanted to help, Ria didn’t think that revealing this information… would be bad. But, in fact, it was. After all, the woman just admitted, and presented the shocking truth… that she, Ria, was the first person to actually meet Celia.

Celia: “Hmm… until now, I didn’t expect my family to be the jealous types…” She thought, but said it out loud.

Midas: “Celia… that inward thought was… spoken.” She shakily informed.

Celia: “Yes, it was.” She replied with a slightly upset head tilt.

  Grab!

Before they could react, Celia had taken hold of Ria’s hand. Though, that wasn’t why they were all frozen in shock.

Celia: “Ria, Zia, let us go relax alone. You can help me with my lack of knowledge, and also give me some of my memories while you’re at it.” She tenderly suggested, guiding her wife away from the group.

Everyone besides Zia, Ria, and Celia: “(~OAO)”

Celia had never done anything like this before, which just further proved how different Celia now was. The woman was blatantly angry that her family members were glaring daggers at Ria, and Celia wanted everyone to know this.

If it were the past Celia in this situation, she would have just played all sides of her family, and come to a happy, united conclusion. This is a change, though happy, that they will have to learn to accept, Celia’s endless kindness no longer being guaranteed.
