Chapter 16: Understanding Their Situation.
Celia: “Are you two together now?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Shuren: “Huh? I thought that you wouldn’t let me have your daughter so easily…” She replied with an uncertain tone.
With the first round of flirting over, Fore and Shuren were walking right behind Marni and Celia, holding hands. Shuren even had her head nestled in Fore’s arm, acting like lovers. This worked even better, as Fore was almost one and a half heads taller than her new wife.
Celia: “Why would I do that? I have no intention of ever getting in the way of my family’s happiness.” She replied with a head tilt, like Shuren was the crazy one.
Shuren: “…”
Marni: “As long as you’re both adults, Celia wouldn’t care. Worried about the age gap? Most of Celia’s wives, and her daughters as well… are thousands of years older than her.” She added with a laugh.
Shuren: “…” “That large of a gap… What kind of final-boss-like woman did I even stumble on?!” She exclaimed in her thoughts, mind racing for a completely different reason this time.
Fore: “Shuren, on top of that… Celia adopted us as her daughters on this very day. So she doesn’t have much say over me, or what I can and can’t do.” She added with a slightly awkward tone.

Shuren: “(~OAO)”
Hm… I haven’t thought about this before. And Marni, not knowing the whole family just yet, was slightly wrong. In Celia’s family… only Lia, and now Fore, is younger than her.
Celia’s weird age-gap family aside, the group was still on their way to Astra. It wasn’t far away, but Marni and Celia both decided to walk leisurely so that Shuren and Fore could spend more time together.
Fore: “Celia, Shuren said that she wanted us to start our relationship slowly for now. She did, thankfully, agree to date, though!” She happily answered Celia’s unanswered question.
Celia: “Oh, that’s fine. I’ll make sure to power you both up so that time isn’t ever a problem again.” She replied with a motherly smile.
Fore: “…” “Since she was a Higher Being, I already assumed that Celia was immortal. But… someone, my new mother, nonchalantly saying that she’ll make us immortal as well… is pretty absurd!” She thought with a conflicted, yet happy tone.
Shuren: “…” “The look that Celia is giving me… is just like how my actual birth mother looks at me! Did I accidentally get Celia as a mother, all because Fore seduced me?…” She inwardly spoke, tone being the same as Fore’s, funnily enough.
Marni: “…” “Celia adopted three daughters all in the same day. I sure hope that her wives won’t be upset about this…” She thought with a worried-filled sigh.
Upset? No, no. How could we ever be upset? Frankly, we, the wives, and perhaps, the daughters as well… wanted Celia to take in more daughters in the last timeline. But she never did…
Having more daughters to dote on… is something that even the least motherly of Celia’s wives would absolutely love. Maybe… this timeline will be the best one?
