Chapter 21: Before Leaving, Let's Learn!
Other than being somewhat annoyed that she was separated from her family, Celia didn’t have any real reason to fight Gu and Corei. Instead of fighting, or even being confrontational… Celia quickly shifted the mood to be calm, and was now drinking tea with those two.
Celia: “Gu, is the System being weird… your doing?” She asked with a curious tone.
Gu: “Not at all. This change is too weird and makes understanding the power gaps… very confusing. Amelie can attest to this.” She denied with a sigh.
Amelie: “It happened a few years after Gu captured me. Specifically, 10 years ago.” She added with a nod, before then taking a sip of her tea.
Celia: “…” “Vulely, this isn’t making any sense. From my Status, it would seem that I aged merely months, not 10 years…” She expressed in her mind with decent confusion.
Eh? That can’t be right… Evolving into a Highest Goddess is extreme, and does take time. But it wouldn’t take years. Last time, as Celia just said, it took months to Evolve, not years. Ah! Now I get it. How silly…
Gu: “Celia, I forgot to mention… but time is faster on the island. Outside of it, even in this Dimension, no more than two months have passed.” She quickly clarified.

Shuren: “Oh, then my Mom won’t be so worried about me vanishing for so long…” She said with a relieved tone.
Fore: “And when can I meet this mother of yours, dear?” She coquettishly asked, running her fingers through Shuren’s hair.
Celia: “You two… please go flirt in another room.” She requested in a scolding, but motherly tone.
Shuren: “(/ />/ _ / /)”
Fore: “(^^) b”
After They Left.
Celia: “If it wasn’t you doing this, Gu, then something must have gone wrong with either Runey or Xena…” She said with a serious, worried tone, doing a thinking pose.
Gu: “Forgive me, Celia, but I do not know whom you’re referring to.” She replied with an awkward smile.
Amelie: “I don’t know, as well…” She added, feeling remorse for not keeping in touch with the family.
Funnily enough, Celia didn’t internalize that Gu wasn’t in the know. She very rarely converses with those outside of her group. Which is likely a strong factor in why Celia accepted Fore, Marni, and Shuren as her daughters so easily.
Celia: “They’re recent additions to the family and friend group, Amelie. Nothing to feel sad about. Here, I’ll give you memories of…” Her coaxing was cut off.
Amelie: “I just need, and have already gotten, my memories, Celia. Any more than that would be cheating, and a major insult to our family.” She sternly denied, almost instantly refusing to take a shortcut.
Celia: “…”
Amelie: “It’s okay. I will get to know them naturally, as I should.” She added with a determined smile.
Corei: “…” “This family drama stuff is… not something I wish to witness. Regardless of how sappy it is.” She secretly thought with a groan.
Gu: “…” “Celia is far too friendly for a Higher Being, so these talks might go on forever… I must come up with a plan to get Celia and her family to leave right away!!!” She exclaimed in her mind, unwilling to entertainment the bright family any longer.
