Chapter 9: Character Assassination!
Marni: “Celia… I slept for just a few hours, and while I was unconscious… you seduced yet another woman?! I had hoped that you would have grown more mature, and not still be such a womanizer…” She said with a tone of pure disgust, sincerely disappointed in Celia.
Celia: “( ’-’ ~)”
Celia had that Domain and those Titles which… gave her a protagonist aura. With them gone, Marni, upon seeing Celia embracing an unknown woman… felt like how a normal person would feel when experiencing such an event.
Celia: “Marni, I have not seduced Fore. In fact, she tried to kill us, but I tamed her with food.” She clarified, trying to stay as calm as possible.
Marni: “Oh, really? Still… I bet that you’ve gained many more wives recently, right?” She replied with a sigh, visibly upset, not believing her words.
Celia: “No, not at all! Apart from the wives of mine that you know of, I have only gained two more. Rather… than collecting wives, I’ve gotten far more daughters.” She earnestly explained.
Fore: “…” “A lovers’ spat between Higher Beings?! I need to stay out of this…” She secretly thought, now just merely pretending to be unconscious in Celia’s arms.

Sometime Later.
Talking back and forth, Celia eventually convinced Marni that she hadn’t seduced, nor have any intentions of seducing Fore. Currently, Celia’s only goal was finding her family. This odd island, the broken System, are all secondary.
Fore: “Is your Status real, Celia? I passed out so quickly… that I honestly don’t know if I dreamed that up, or not.” She asked with an embarrassed tone.
Celia: “Prior to ending up on this island, my Stats were far higher. No idea why, but the System is weirdly bugged…” She clarified with a thinking pose.
Fore: “…”
Marni: “Hey, don’t go to sleep again, please.” She deadpanly pleaded, weakly shaking Fore’s shoulder.
Closing her eyes, Fore collected herself, taking deep breaths. After all, what Celia showed her… is more than enough to make anyone, including the Higher Beings, faint in pure awe or horror.
Fore: “Celia… I’ve met the strongest Higher Being on the island years ago, and she promptly displayed her Status to me.” She informed a shaky tone.
Celia: “Hm? Didn’t you say that the weakest city requires at least Level 40?” She replied with a head tilt.
Fore: “Yes, but when I appeared on the island, it was very close to Ambi, which Corei rules over. After flaunting her Status, Corei teleported me away to near a more appropriate city.” She clarified, tone tinged with anger.
From this, it was very clear why Fore was so aggressive with Celia, her being a Higher Being. Because of Corei, Fore had to survive for years, barely making any progress toward a livable future.
Marni: “Celia’s Stats aren’t bad, although, years ago, I swear that I remember Inspecting, and killing a Goblin with higher Stats than her. Why are you so surprised, Fore?” She asked with a curious tone.
Fore: “Assuming that she hasn’t gotten stronger, Corei’s Stats… none were higher than 11.” She answered with an awkward tone and expression.
Marni and Celia: “(~OAO)”
