Volume 10. Chapter 51: Her Fate Is In My Hands. (Chapter 952)

Chapter 51: Her Fate Is In My Hands.

Zelia: “Give me your memories, please. All of them, I beg you. I truly, truly need this from you…” She earnestly pleaded.

Narrator Vulely: “Why should I consider doing that, let alone actually do it? At this very moment, we’re still both enemies.” I replied with a serious tone.

  Zelia: “…”

Currently, though I was somewhat confident of her innocence… doing as Zelia asked might be a horrible idea. Again, I clearly have not been using my brain properly lately, so I need to take that into account, and not do something foolish…

Zelia: “Listen… even without the future Celia’s power backing you up, you’d be able to kill me without breaking a sweat. How am I a threat?” She said with a weak tone.

Narrator Vulely: “So weak that you cannot break free of those chains? Magical as they obviously are… you, just minutes prior, mentioned that you were going to get revenge on Celia.” I replied with a raised eyebrow, even though I have no idea if she could see me or not.

Zelia: “Purely at the expense of my remaining life. Trapping Celia took most of my Divinity and Mana, breaking this seal would spell my death. I could, at the very most, insult Celia, and hit her with extremely weak attacks. I’d be no more than an insect to her…” She explained, honesty clear in her tone.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

Narrator Vulely: “Hm… Okay. But… why exactly do you want my memories?” I ask with a curious tone.

Zelia: “None of this makes sense, right? If you let me live, I’ll always be far weaker than Celia. Even if I train and grind EXP for millions of years. I wish that you got that memories of the Celia from that destruction timeline before you left… but your memories are the best we have.” She replied with a deep sigh.

Narrator Vulely: “Best we have for what? You might be a version of Celia… but could you please cut out the vagueness in your words?” I reply with a sigh of my own.

Zelia: “Am I real?… That’s what I want to know. Something very powerful gave up when you came back, and replaced themselves with me. That’s my main theory right now. With your memories… I can confirm if my own are mere fabrications.” She finally explained.

  Tap!

Her reasons were solid enough, and I have already come to the same conclusion as Zelia. So, without permission from the family, I went ahead and gave my memories to her. Luckily, me, the very intelligent narrator that I am, realized that Zelia had been set up.

Our true enemy fled, leaving this woman here as a distraction, or even a long-lived disguise, which would take us forever to found out about. In that time, whomever that being is… will be gaining power in the background, plotting our downfall once more. Any being strong enough to kill our entire family… is likely able to go back into the past as well.

  Narrator Vulely: “?”

  Zelia: “…”
