Chapter 360: Phoenix Girl Sif vs Fire Calamity Afar

  Boom… boom…

  The earth rumbled.

  The entire isnd shook violently.

Blinding fshes of light kept erupting, expanding outward.

Great swaths of the terrain colpsed, fracturing like a spiderweb of cracks.

  “Woohoo…”

  “Whoosh…”

  Ferocious gales rampaged ceaselessly.

On the o’s surface, t waves ed in turmoil.

Even atop the distant airborne fortress, Atntis, the smaller kids would have been blown away if not for the prote of Linlin, Hajrudin, and others.

All eyes were on the ruined, battered isnd below.

Thunder Camity Oka’s figure stumbled basteadily, clearly at a slight disadvantage.

“Heh-hah-hah… That’s it for me. The younger geion is truly fearsome!”

  Cyril Oka shook his head.

Taking a deep breath, he broke into ughter. “If this were a fight to the death, I might genuinely lose!”

He accepted this calmly, feeling no shame. After all, the Thor before him—while teically his junior—was a genuine, naturally born mohe eldest son of the Kukulkan family. Especially sidering the Lunarian race’s eous innate gifts, if Thor really went all out, his strength would be even more shog.

If he had been fag El or Charlotte Linlin in their younger days, he would have already lost, and probably not without injury. Being just a bit roughed up was a retively lucky oute.

“Thanks for aowledging it, Uncle Oka!”

  Thor said with a smile.

T in stature, he stood holding his “Thunder God” hammer, exuding awe-inspiring might.

  “Amazing—”

  “Thor-nii is incredible!!!”

  “That was fantastic, Thor-nii!!!”

On Atntis above, a group of Kukulkan children gazed wide-eyed, stars practically shining in their pupils, full of admiration.

  “Well done…”

Sif, youthful and vibrant, stood with arms crossed, smiling. “Thor hasn’t disgraced the Kukulkan least!”

  “Sis Sif, your turn now!”

The lovely giant girl Eden—who resembled Tethys greatly—ed an arm around Sif, winking mischievously. “Your oppo’s Uncle Afar!”

She had long, ash-gray hair, jet-bck wings on her back, and bzing fmes dang behind her head. Her gem-like eyes sparkled with a pyful charm. Only just sixteen, she was teically still a “child” by giant standards, yet was already extremely tall, measuring over sixteeers i.

“Hmph, worry about yourself, you little brat…” Sif grumbled, dark-faced, ping Eden’s cheeks. “You’re the one who always scks off the most!”

Even so, her expression grew serious. Afar—like her, a member of the Lunarian race—was indeed a formidable foe. Moreover, he was a Logia Fme-Fme Fruit user, whose ability to manipute fire at extreme temperatures celed out much of her advantage as the Mythical Zoan Phoenix user.

  “Mm, nice job…”

Fpping his wings, El nded hor and Oka. He smiled and said, “That’s enough for your sparring session.”

“ match: Sif versus Fire Camity Afar!”

With that, he looked toward Sif and Afar on Atntis, being them to e down to the isnd.

  “Bzzz…”

  “Whoosh!”

Wasting no time, Thor and Oka vanished, both returning to Atntis to free up the battlefield.

  “Whew…”

Both Sif and Fire Camity Afar spread their wings and desded to the isnd below.

“Uncle Afar, please go easy on me!”

Sif’s eyes shone as she smiled, fmes of a blue-green hue dang behind her head.

“Sif-sama, you’ve bee quite famous after just a feaigns, earning yourself the niame ‘Phoenix Girl’…”

Fire Camity Afar returned her smile, sizing up this eldest daughter of the Kukulkan family. He observed the apparently heatless fmes of her blue-green fire without any hint of uimation. “Let me withe power of your Mythical Zoan Phoenix form today!”

  “Sis Sif, you got this!!!”

  “Don’t let us down, Sif!”

Dal, Willie, Eden, Frey, and some of the younger kids cheered loudly.

“Uncle Afar, I’m rooting for you…”

But Thor, who had just returned victorious, immediately shouted, “Show her who’s boss!”

“Thor, you—!” Sif’s eyelid twitched; she fred with blue-green fme and gred at him in annoyance. “You just wait till this is over!”

“Looking for a fight, huh? I’m the Thunder God, why would I fear a tomboy like you?”

Thor straightened his back, uned about provoking his “dragon-phoenix” sister. The siblings had butted heads ever sihey were small. Fights—verbal spats or even full-blown brawls—were part of their daily routine. Not just they themselves, but Dal, Willie, Frey, and the other siblings were well used to it.

“Thud!” Just then, Gerd approached, intending to scold her eldest son. Her face darkened, and she smacked Thor’s head in irritation. “That’s no way to talk about your sister! You two ’t spend a single day without arguing, you?”

“All right, enough nonsense… Let’s begin!”

El said, giving Thor an exasperated look. Immediately, the previously arrogant young maed like a wilted rooster, pulling his head baot daring to utter aau his father decide to “train his endurance” again.

  “Whoosh—!”

As soon as El sighe start of the match, Sif didn’t hesitate. She instantly drew the sword at her waist—a gleaming, gold-hued bde set with jewels, dazzlingly ornate. El himself had fed this on for her: the “Sword of the Sun,” an armament on par with the Supreme Grade Bdes, rivaling even her merd’s “Bloodstained Crest Scythe.”

  “Fire Fist!!!”

With fmes bzing behind his head, Fire Camity Afar kicked off hard, wings beating as he soared into the air.

Crackle… His right hand morphed into r fme, ballooning outward. The terrifyi ed the air, f an enormous fist of fire infused with powerful Armament Haki. It thundered forward without mercy.

  “g!!!”

A radiant sword edge, wreathed in Haki, sliced out in a lightning-quick arc.

Sif, t at nearly eighteeers, effortlessly deflected the monstrous fming fist that had caused onlookers’ scalps to prickle. The intense heat scorched the air, leaving the ground below charred and even partially melted—yet it failed to harm her in the slightest.

Before Afar could press the attad strike again—

“Moonlit Gale!” Sif stomped, leaping high. The moment she fpped her wings to leap back, her eyes went cold, and she sshed diagonally with the Sun Sword in her hand.

“Whoosh—!” A huge, crest-shaped energy ssh roared forward, carrying formidable power and colliding violently with Afar’s ining punch.

  “Boom, boom…”

  The ground quaked.

Sparks scattered, waves of heat rolled out.

“Ikoku!!!” Sif’s onsught was merciless. Not giving him any ce to retaliate, she gripped her ornate golden bde, her aura intensifying as the sword tore through the air.

  “Whoosh—!”

A fierce, howling surge apahe sword beam unleashed. It carried unimaginable power as it barreled straight for Fire Camity Afar, who refused to give ground, fpping his wings to charge again.

“Fme Emperor!!” Afar’s gaze sharpened. His right haed with scorg light, burning ferociously as he unleashed his terattack.

  “Boom… boom…”

Thunderous roars echoed. The entire sky was dyed red by the fmes, while waves of scorg air ed yer upon yer. Below, the sea roiled as if boiling.

  “Whooo—!”

At that moment, a pierg cry rang out.

A massive phoenix bathed in blue-green fmes spread its wings wide. Radiating blisteri, it whipped up fierce winds and scorg air that even caused the spectators on Atntis to turn pale—sweating profusely as the temperature soared.

Sif, having transformed into the Phoenix, attacked viciously. Brimming with murderous spirit, she soared with astonishing speed, shing out with her right foot, now a lethal talon carrying tremendous force.

  “Phoenix Stamp!”

  BOOM!!!

  Bleam
