“Goddamn broke piece of.” Hilda complains to herself as the system suddenly comes back online.
“... Shila?”
Another letter appears, which he tries to grab but Hilda gets it first.
“This is mine. Piss off.”
“But I'm curious.”
“Fuck off.”
“Fine.”
Hilda watches him carefully as she opens the letter.
I'm no longer busy. I'm just lazy now.
-jamine & Shila
“Pieces of shits.”
“So, what was it about?”
“Piss off and mind your own business. If you are a rebellion leader, where's your… idk? Friends? Whatever they're called.
“I've got none.”
“...” Hilda starts walking away.
“So, let's start the training now.”
“No, I'm getting out of here.” Hilda keeps walking away as he smacks her, sending her flying and pissing her off.
“Right, are you deaf?”
“What do you mean deaf? I'm simply training you as promised.” He moves in front of Hilda, hitting her again against the wall, this time actually hurting a bit.
“Piss off you bastard.” Hilda swings her sword at him, using mental attacks and conversion magic too, all doing nothing to the point it doesn't even recoil.
“Oh nice, your systems working again huh?”
“How about you mind your own damn business!” Hilda sends a wave of sword qi which gets completely destroyed by a wave of his own his sends with his hand
“Your sword qi's level is pretty high too, I'm guessing around level 40? But at this rate you'll hit a limit at 50 though that's still pretty decent.”
Hilda gets more annoyed, mostly at her failed attacks as she stops attacking.
“Screw you, go to hell.” Hilda teleports into the system.
“Seriously?”
Hilda looks around for Shila and Jamine, finding them both lying on the sofa.
“Hey, what are you two doing?” Hilda picks them both up by the back of their collars.
“Relaxing.” Shila answers, still watching TV.
“Yea mom!”
“Get out and help.”
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
“Hilda, I'm feeling lazy, don't wanna.”
“Same here mom!”
Hilda sighs, turning the TV off, ignoring their protest.
“Come out now or I'll take the TV with me.”
“That's not fair!”
“Yea mom, not fair!”
“Get out and help me then.”
“Screw you! Don't wanna!” Shila goes back to lying down on the sofa, facing away from Hilda as Jamie stands there, not doing anything, including listening to Hilda.
“Shila, I got a system upgrade from the event, want it?”
“Lies! I checked, you didn't!”
“Yea but you know the guide can prevent you from seeing it.”
Shila hesitates for a moment, peeking over her shoulders at Hilda.
“Fine, use it and I'll follow
Hilda presses the upgrade in her inventory as Shila faints.
“What the hell… is that how upgrades will work from now on?” Hilda turns to Jamine who is now trying to force herself to act defiant but failing to the point it's somewhat cute.
“If I give you something, will you cooperate?” Hilda asks, watching as Jamie shakes her head but clearly curious.
“I'll give you something if you tell me where J.F is. Hilda watches as Jamine points to the bedroom.
“Oh, why did you give her the bedroom instead of using it?” Hilda looks at Jamine who glances away nervously.
“You okay? What are you doing?”
“Well… moms bedroom is a bit… dirty and old and uncomfortable.”
“You could've just said that, I already know that.”
“Aunt's room also looks like crap!”
“...” Hilda gets slightly annoyed.
“Mom, you're the one who told me to just say it.” Jamine says, making Hilda slightly more annoyed as she picks her up.
“Mom?”
“Do you want the thing or not?”
Jamine nods her head this time.
“Then keep quiet and be a good girl.”
“Fine.”
Hilda drops Jamine down causing her to get annoyed.
“Mom bad! Mom mea—”
Hilda pulls out a pill for Jamine, for another skill, shutting her up.
“Now Jamine, what did you say just now?”
“Nothing!”
“Nope, you were saying a lot just now weren't you? Hilda holds the pill high above Jamine's head as she tries to snatch it.
“Mom is bullying me!!!” Jamine starts hitting Hilda despite the lack of damage.
“Not giving it till you apologise. You're getting more disobedient. Hilda watches as Jamine stops hitting her but looking very angry and annoyed.
“Fine! Sorry! Mom is mean!”
“No, not until you say it properly.”
Shila suddenly reappears, snatching the pill from Hilda.
Notification.
Your system now has 75 percent of your stats.
“Shila, give that back.”
“Hilda, you do realize that Jamie actually has the maturity of a child, so what you're doing is actually gonna make her cry at this rate.”
“It's her fault for not listening properly.”
Shila sighs, giving Jamine the pill who grabs it protectively.
“Jamine, say sorry to your mom.” Shila walls behind Jamine, putting her hands on her shoulders.
Jamine glances up at Hilda before softly whispering. “Sorry mom…”
“Fine, fine. Just eat it so we can go back already.”
Jamine eats it in one go, immediately gaining a new skill.
Volume changer(epic)
Allows the user to increase the volume of their body however much they want using mana.
“Huh? Couldn't you do that before?” Hilda asks as Jamine shakes her head, unwilling to talk to Hilda.
“Hilda, she could, it's just that this skill allows her to do so much more than before.”
“Nice.” Hilda goes and picks Jamine up.
“Mom, what are you doing?”
“Stop being irritating Jamine.”
“I'm not irritating!!”
“You are.”
Jamine starts hitting Hilda again as Hilda bites her arm off, pissing her off.
“Mom can go die!”
She regenerates her arm, using her clone skill to split herself in half before running away and merging herself back to normal.
Hilda picks her up again.
“Jamine, let's go back now, Shila, teleport us out.”
“No! Don't wanna follow mom!”
“If you follow, I'll give you snacks. Let's go.”
“Fine. But mom is still mean.” Jamine crosses her arms angrily.
“Also later, tell me what happened after I fainted in the event.”
As they reappear outside, Hilda sets Jamine down and swings a wave of mana and sword qi at him who has been waiting the whole time.
“If you're gonna force me to stay here, might as well tell me your name.”
“Nope, just call me… Evan.”
“...”
Hilda swings more waves of Aman and sword qi at him as Jamie and Shila both use leech, debuffing him and cloning
“Hey, this is a 3 on 1, isn't this a bit too unfair?”
“Nah.”
Jamine starts cloning herself as much as she can, piling all her clones on him as he uses a wave of sword qi, chasing them all to burst like a balloon.
“This is supposed to be training without the system for you all you know?”
“Yea, so what?”
“You'll see.”
Hilda and Evan keep fighting as Jamie's clones do nearly nothing and Shila's debuffs also do nearly nothing.
“Stop using the system, we're trying to improve your skills here.”
“Don't wanna, if you're mad then force me to stop using the system.”
“Fine, but remember. You asked for this.”
He suddenly pulls out a bracelet, putting it around his arm as he attacks Hilda with sword qi, causing her system screen to crack.
“What the hell?!”
He keeps it up, causing it to fully break in half as Shila shouts in pain but not disappearing.
“I disconnected you from the system, it should fix itself in around 3 months, so we'll have plenty of time to train pay?”
Hilda picks Shila up, hugging her to try to help with her discomfort of being forcefully separated.
Hilda sends a massive wave of mana and sword qi at Evan, which he simply counters.
“Nice, 3 months and you'll be better able to fight recently at least.”
