Chapter 59. Big guy.

Hilda tries to stab the work from the inside, but unable to do so due to needing to preserve mana to protect her body and not being strong enough with pure stats as she starts walking further into the worm, using a forcefield to block the acid.

As she progresses through, she reaches somewhat of a stomach.

“What the hell is this? Also, I don't think we went too far so Shila and Jamine won't even be dragged to me, and they still gotta deal with the remainder of the worms. What a pain.”

Hilda looks around, finding the corpses of some much smaller and medium sized worms.

“Cannibalism? Well, I shouldn't be surprised, it doesn't seem like there's much food in these caves anyways.”

Hilda keeps exploring before acid starts flooding in again as Hilda blocks with a forcefield again.

“My mana can't take much more of this, and I sure as hell can't leave by the mouth either since apparently the entire worm’s body works as a digestive tract.” Hilda says to herself, looking around as the smaller pieces of corpses get pushed through its body while the bigger ones get dissolved.

“Well, it isn't preferred but… if I can't leave by the front, I can leave by the back.” Hilda sighs, following the corpses down. “God, I'm sighing so much today.” She sighs again.

Hilda keeps walking through, slicing through the corpses in her way due to them not being resistant to mana, sword qi or as physically resistant.

“These guys feel like butter yet the big guy I'm in is harder than steel and still feels so soft albeit disgusting.”

“Now that I think about it, how is it that I can still see? It's the same as the cave, I believe Shila said it was magic, definitely gotta find out what kind of light magic it is, seems useful.”

Hilda eventually reaches the end of it, holding her sword at the wall, finding that it can be pushed open with a bit of strength.

  “Eww…”

She walks through it, finding a lot of sticky liquid substance, most of which goes from its… opening to her face as she closes her eyes and mouth tightly.

  “Finally out!”

Hilda walks out, finding Jamine and Shila running at her.

  “Hilda, you are disgusting.”

“And I am very aware.” She replies, buying a cloth from the shop and wiping her face.

“Mom… please shower.” Jamine pinches her nose shut, annoying Hilda and due to the fact she could just change her body to drop smelling, annoying her more.

“Nice way to rub in how disgusting I am, how about you suffer with me?”

“Huh?” Hilda hugs Jamine as she struggles angrily.

As Hilda let's go, Jamine spits on her, “Mom! What was that for?!”

  “Suffer with me.”

  “Ewww!”

Hilda turns to Shila as she backs up, “Nah, you aren't doing that to me.”

“Calm down, I just have a question.”

  “Fine, what is it?”

“Where the hell is the jewellery? I couldn't find it in the guy's stomach.” Hilda turns around, finding the massive worm gone along with a massive tunnel left behind.

  “I assume it got dissolved.”

  “What…”

“Well, there is another way to finish this floor.”

  “And that is?”

“To damage something with a bloodline percentage of 20 percent ‘Mother’ minimum.”

“And where would we find that?”

“Oh, I have a theory. Was the inside of the worm bright or dim minimally?”

“Yea, but I assume it was simply magic?”

  “No. It was biological material.”

“What are you implying?” Hilda looks around, finding the entire area dimly lit.

  “No. No way.”

“Well… it has a percentage of 30 percent or so.”

“Mom, sis, what are you talking about?” Jamine tilts her head curiously.

“We are in a big fat worm Jamine.”

  “What? That's disgusting!!!”

“I know. But Shila, I couldn't even damage something with a percentage of 5, 30 is too high a difference.”

“Yea, it's level is in the thousands.”

  “So how?”

  “Figure it out yourself.”

  “Seriously?”

Hilda starts trying all the ways possible to attack, including bombs, fire, acid, alkalis, poisons.

  “Hilda, here's a hint.”

“Couldn't you just give me the answer?”

  “Where's the fun in that?”

  “It's not fun.”

“Not for you, I can teleport to the system but you can't.”

“... Just give me the damn hint.”

“Concentrate your mana and whatever on the top of your sword.”

  “Sure.”

Hilda tries it, concentrating all her mana and sword qi on the tip of her sword, depleting it all as she tries to stab it into the god knows how big of a worm.

  “Did that do anything?”

Hilda lifts her sword up, finding a small gap no bigger than a paper cut.

“You're kidding, that's barely anything for so much of my mana.”

“That sufficed, let's get out of here.”

“That actually worked? Also, why the rush?”

“Simple. A level couple thousand isn't used to any damage, especially in its own body.”

  “What?”

Hilda suddenly hears a massive crashing sound as she turns behind, finding a food of acid.

“Oh that's no problem, dealt with it just now.”

“In a level 350, not 1000+ not even your skeleton will be left.”

“Ok, maybe I didn't take that into account. Please send us to the 29th floor.”

  “Happily.”

Shila sends them as they find themselves in a forest.

“Wow, this is unexpected. I expected more, disgusting or chaos.”

“Turn around, your friend is there.”

“Huh?” Hilda turns around, finding a massive worm the height and width of the mountain and the length of minimally a couple trains, just a couple dozens worth.

  “I was in that?”

  “Yep.”

“Mom, I don't like it, it's so disgusting!”

Hilda sighs(again) “Shila, what am I supposed to do?”

  “With Jamine or the floor?”

“If possible could you offer advice for the former?”

  “No.”

  “Fine, the latter.”

  “Oh. Run.”

  “What?”

Hilda starts hearing massive rumbling behind her, immediately running away Aaya without turning back.

  “For his long?”

  “Half an hour.”

“I don't have enough mana for that nor speed!”

“I agree but you can't teleport out the level so god bless.”

  “Go to hell.”
