Gohan and Goku appeared at Kame house, “Let’s get your mom, and aunt then we can go home, the game pn is we rest for three days, train for three days, and then rest for the st three days.” Goku said as he walked towards the house.

  “… Dad, do you think we have a chance to beat Cell?” Gohan asked his dad as they walked towards the house.

  Goku turned around to look at Gohan with a smile, “Don’t worry about that son we have 9 days, so let’s rex for a while.” Goku said chuckling before turning back around and continued walking towards the house.

  “… ok if you say so dad.” Gohan said as he followed his dad into the house, when they walked in, they found Master Roshi, Krillin, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Puar, and Oolong sitting around a table watching tv.

  “Hey, guys.” Goku said as he walked inside greeting everyone.

  “Hey, Goku, do you know about the tournament that Cell is having?” Yamcha asked as he stood up quickly.

  “Yeah, Trunks told me, and I just got back from seeing Cell’s new body.” Goku said

  “So, you can beat him, right?” Krillin asked looking at Goku hopefully.

  “I don’t know, from what I saw he would probably beat me. Hahaha!” Goku said.

  “Why is dad so calm, he says that Cell will probably beat him, but he’s not worried at all… it must be because of the secret he found in the Chamber. I wonder what it is, how come he won’t tell me.” Gohan thought as he watched his dad ughing.

  “Nice joke Goku.” Yamcha said looking at Goku nervously.

  “I’m not kidding Cell would more than likely beat me.” Goku said as he stopped ughing to look at everyone.

  “Then how come your so calm.” Master Roshi asked the question on everyone’s mind.

  “… you are hiding something aren’t you.” Oolong said chuckling as he looked up at Goku.

  “That’s for me to know.” Goku said ughing again, “Where’s Chi-Chi and Launch, we’ve come to pick them up to go home.” Goku said looking around for them.

  “They’re both upstairs.” Krillin said

  “Chi-Chi, Launch.” Goku called out.

  Chi-Chi came down the stairs with Bad Launch who was holding Ginnies hand, “Goku is that you, I was so worried about you.” Chi-Chi said as she walked up to him.

  “Hey, honey lets go home.” Goku said hugging her.

  “Goku where’s Raditz why isn’t he with you?” Bad Launch asked looking around for Raditz. Ginnie walked up to Gohan and held her hands up; Gohan smiled as he picked her up.

  “He’s training in the Time Chamber; he should be done sometime tomorrow.” Goku said looking at her, “Now gather around so we can go home.” Goku said as Chi-Chi, Bad Launch, Ginnie, and Gohan gathered around him.

  “Yeah, lets go, we have a lot to talk about Goku, and you have to fulfill your promise.” Chi-Chi said looking at Goku with a smile.

  “What promise?” Goku asked looking confused, as he pced his fingers to his forehead.

  “Oh, don’t worry you will remember when we get home.” Chi-Chi said with a smile, as they disappeared, and appeared back at Goku’s house.

  Bad Launch, and Ginnie had gone to their house as Gohan and Goku went and changed into some normal clothes, “Chi-Chi, me and Gohan are going fishing we will be back ter ok.” Goku said as they headed out the door.

  “Fine bring some dinner, while I start getting things ready for tomorrow. Then you must fulfill your promise, the day after.” Chi-Chi said smiling at Goku.

  “…Ok bye honey.” Goku said as he and Gohan flew towards a ke. Once they, got to the ke they cast a line into the water and sat back and rexed, waiting for some fish to bite.

  Krillin arrived ter and sat down next to them in silence before speaking, “Goku I need to confess that I let Cell transform, by destroying the remote to shut down android 18 and I feel like a let you down.” Krillin said as he looked down at the ground.

  “Don’t worry about it Krillin, you are my best friend and I know that you wouldn’t have done that without a good reason. Don’t beat yourself up over it, what’s done is done.” Goku said patting Krillins shoulder sending him flying into the ke.

  “Thanks, Goku, you are a true friend.” Krillin said with a smile, as he emerged from the water ughing. “Help me out.” Krillin asked as he reached a hand out for Goku to grab, once Goku did Krillin dragged Goku into the ke with him. They started ughing before they got out and dried themselves.

  They caught some fish and went back home, where Chi-Chi cooked some food for Gohan and Goku, “Gohan time for you to go study.” Chi-Chi said after they finished eating.

  “Ok mom, thank you for the food.” Gohan said as he got up and went to do his homework. If his dad said not to worry than Gohan was going to do his best not to worry.

  Age 767, May 18th

  Chi-Chi had sent Gohan to go find some supplies for his birthday and some surprise she had pnned for tomorrow; Gohan was flying towards another vilge trying to find the supplies. While he was flying, he saw a girl on a thin tree branch hanging over a rushing river trying to get an apple when the branch broke. Gohan dove into the river and saved the girl and flew out carrying her, the girl was about his age with brown hair tied in twin pigtails, she had blue eyes, and was wearing an overall, “You fiend!” she yelled at him as she put some distance between them as she blushed.

  “… for saving you?” Gohan asked in confusion

  “…you…” the girl stammered before she stuck at her tongue and ran off into the forest nearby.

  “That was weird.” Gohan said to himself before he flew off looking for somewhere where he could buy the supplies his mom sent him out for. While he was flying, he saw a big dome in the middle of a forest clearing, “That wasn’t there before, they must have built it recently.” Gohan said before heading towards a small vilge in the distance.

  When he got to the vilge, he saw that it looked deserted just like all the other vilges he’s been too, “I’ve been to four vilges already and they’ve all been empty like this one, man everyone must be scared of Cell.” Gohan said to himself as he walked around looking for someone.

  Gohan soon found three people in a shop, there was an old man in a work apron standing behind a counter, and two men wearing cowboy hats in front of the counter looking at the old man, one was tall, and the other was short, “What do you need money for the world is ending.” The tall one said looking at the old man.

  “Maybe, but no one knows that for sure.” The old man said, “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a customer. How can I help you young man?” The old man said looking at Gohan as he walked in.

  “Excuse me, I was wondering if you can help me with my shopping, I have a list my mom gave me here.” Gohan said as he looked for the list.

  “Enough, wasting time I have an idea, for us to get the money.” The short guy said as he ran to a shelf and started breaking things in the store.

  Before Gohan could do anything there was a shout from outside, “AAAAA!!!! IT’S CELL” the two men looked at each other before they ran outside in a hurry. The screaming continued as a girl came backing into the store shouting, “IT’S CELL RUN!!” she stopped screaming as she turned around and then pointed at Gohan in surprise, it was the girl Gohan saved earlier.

  “Well, if it isn’t Ms. Lime, where’s Cell… I’ve told you not to lie countless times already.” The old man said to the little girl, who scratched her head smiling.

  The old man shook his head before he introduced himself as Lao, he went outside and started chopping some wood as he expined to Gohan that all the vilgers have gone to the dome shaped building Gohan saw earlier looking for shelter. Lao also expined that Cell had been to the vilge before back when he was weaker and absorbing people, he also said Cell had killed Lime’s parents. Gohan decided to help Lao cut the wood, while Lao went inside to find the supplies on Gohan’s list.

  After Gohan finished chopping the wood he went into the forest with Lime, they sat down, under the shade of a rge tree eating some apples, Gohan fed some animals that were near, “Grandpa said you were a fighter, but I think you would never fight you seem to gentle, to be a fighter.” Lime said looking at Gohan.

  “… I don’t know, I really don’t like fighting but sometimes you have to if you want to protect those you care about.” Gohan said looking at Lime.

  Lime stared at Gohan for a while, when there was the sound of fireworks in the distance stopping her from saying something, “It must be the grand opening of the shelter, lets go see.” Lime said as she stood up and ran towards a clearing.

  Gohan got up and went after her and saw a rge group of people waiting outside the shelter, a man in a purple suit was talking into a microphone, talking about how it was amazing to see everyone coming together.

  “IT’S CELL, CELL IS HERE!!” Lime started shouting suddenly causing the crowd to start shoving each other as they rushed to get inside the shelter. The man in the purple suit managed to push past everyone and enter before everyone as he closed the doors to the shelter behind him, leaving everyone trapped outside.

  The two men Gohan saw from earlier soon found where Lime and he were standing as the two men pointed guns at them and led them, towards the shelter where they called the man in the purple suit who came out of the shelter angrily after finding out it was a prank, “You are in big trouble you brat!” the man shouted in Lime’s face.

  “Excuse me sir, my friend was wrong for lying, but what you are doing is wrong too.” Gohan said as he walked up to the man and stood in front of Lime.

  “Why don’t you go home to your mommy kid this doesn’t concern you, I don’t care what some outsider thinks.” The purple suit man said looking at Gohan.

  “Speaking of moms is your mom one of the people you locked outside.” Gohan said looking at the man.

  “…Teach this kid a lesson!” the man shouted to his guards as they crowded around Gohan.

  “Stop it.” Lao said as he appeared in a fighting gi walking towards them, “Back off.”

  “Another hero huh… Get him men.” The purple suit man shouted, as the fat man from earlier ran out first and threw a punch at Lao who blocked it with his forearm before kneeing the fat man in the stomach knocking him out.

  The rest of the guards then came running towards Lao as he quickly took care of the guards dodging their attacks and countering with kicks and punches, knocking them all out, in a matter of seconds.

  “… General Tao, come out I need you!” the purple suit man shouted, when a man, wearing a pink and purple battle gi, with a metal head, eyes, and neck came walking out with his arms behind him.

  “What is it?” Tao asked

  “Eliminate that man.” The purple man said pointing at Lao.

  “Easy enough.” Tao said as he got into a fighting stance revealing he had metal arms as well, Lao got into his fighting stance as well.

  They unched themselves at each other Tao, started punching Lao who blocked them with his forearms and threw his own punches which Tao dodged. Tao then took off one of his hands and reveled a hidden knife in it as he tried cutting Lao who backflipped to dodge the attack. Tao then surprised attacked Lao and knocked him to the ground. Tao then jumped back as his other hand fell off revealing a hole and aimed it at Lao. “Dodon Power Wave!” Tao shouted as the hole in his hand glowed bright as a rge beam was fired at Lao.

  Gohan jumped in front of the bst blocking it with one hand, “Why don’t you try fighting me now.” Gohan said looking at Tao as the smoke cleared.

  “Cocky kid.” Tao said as he aimed his arm at Gohan, “… hey kid what’s your name?” Tao said staring at Gohan.

  “It’s Gohan.” Gohan replied

  “Oh, that’s good I thought you were someone named Goku.” Tao said looking relieved.

  “Close enough I’m his son.” Gohan said as he looked at Tao.

  Tao jumped back in fear, “His Son… Yeah, nope you can’t pay me enough to deal with anyone reted to him, I’m out of here.” Tao said as he picked up his hands and knocked down a tree before tossing it into the air and jumping on it flying away.

  Gohan stared at Tao in surprise as he flew away, when the vilgers started ganging up on the purple suit man who ran to Gohan for help, “Please help me, you are strong, I’ll give you whatever you want if you help me.”

  Gohan smiled at the man before destroying the shelter with a ki bst shocking the man and the crowd, “If I can do that, imagine what Cell can do, that won’t protect you.” Gohan said looking down at the man. Gohan then turned towards the vilgers, “Hi, my name is Gohan and I know you are all scared of Cell, but he isn’t invincible. We should hope for the best, remember the saying the bigger they are the harder they fall.” Gohan said looking at the group.

  “Well said Gohan, here we can take it from here.” Lao said as he handed Gohan the things on his list, “Beat Cell, I know you are going to be at the tournament.” Lao said with a smile.

  “Come visit us ter.” Lime said looking at Gohan.

  “Thank you.” Gohan said as he flew back home.

  Chi-Chi threw a Super Saiyan themed birthday party for Gohan who was turning 11, Goku, Krillin, Ox-King, Good Launch, Ginnie, Trunks, Raditz, and Piccolo who got out of the Chamber earlier were there too. Trunks was waiting for Vegeta to get out of the Chamber, since he cut in front of Trunks after Piccolo and Raditz came out. Chi-Chi and Good Launch had made Gohan a Super Saiyan cake with little spiky pieces of yellow frosting, that had Gohan, Goku, Chi-Chi, Raditz, Launch, and Ginnie’s face on it.

  “Thank you so much for the cake guys it’s incredible.” Gohan said happily as he looked around the table.

  “Thank you for inviting me, guys, I haven’t really had the time for happy moments like this.” Trunks said smiling at everyone.

  “Don’t mention it Trunks, if it wasn’t for you, my Goku wouldn’t be alive right now so thank you. I’m gd you are here.” Chi-Chi said with a smile.

  “Yeah, I’m gd you both could make it.” Gohan said with a smile looking at Trunks and Piccolo.

  “No, problem Gohan.” Piccolo said smiling at Gohan

  “You are going to like the presents I got you Gohan.” Ox-King said pointing at a mountain of presents behind him.

  “Thank you, grandpa.” Gohan said smiling.

  “Blow out your candles and make a wish so you can open your presents.” Chi-Chi said.

  “Ok mom, I got a good wish.” Gohan said as he stood up and took in a deep breath, “I wish to be strong enough to beat Cell so that my family can live in peace.” Gohan wished as he blew out the candles, his breath was so strong that it blew the cake all over everyone’s face. Everyone started ughing as they cleaned up the mess Gohan made.

  They all had fun, ughing, and taking pictures as Gohan opened presents, this continued te into the night.

  (AN: The official timeline says that Piccolo enters the Chamber the same day Gohan and Goku got out which was May 17th, and since Gohan’s birthday is May 18th, I thought it would be nice to have Piccolo who Chi-Chi has warmed up to a little over the st three years to be there. Also, since Vegeta entered the Chamber before Trunks by cutting in line, I believe that Raditz would invite Trunks to the party, instead of him waiting all day for Vegeta to come out. I know the name of the guy from Lime’s vilge is Mr. Borbonne but I didn’t want to keep writing it especially since he more than likely won’t make another appearance.)
