Gohan was on his way to Bulma’s house because Chi-Chi had sent out of the house while she spent some alone time with Goku; Raditz, and Launch had gone out on a family picnic and weren’t home. Goku had given Gohan his flying Nimbus as a birthday gift, Gohan was sitting on the Nimbus cloud, he saw a rge line of cars driving out of the city, “Wow, everyone is trying to get out of the city, too bad it won’t mean much.” Gohan said to himself as West City came into view.

  Gohan saw Panchy, Bulma’s mom outside watering the pnts, “Oh hello Gohan how are you?” Panchy asked as he jumped off the Nimbus cloud and nded in front of her.

  “Hello, miss I’ve come to see Trunks and Bulma.” Gohan said as he walked up to her.

  “Oh, Bulma is downstairs in the b working on that big guy, that Krillin brought, and Trunks left earlier he’s not here anymore.” Panchy said as she put down her watering can, “Come on follow me.” She said as she led Gohan into the house and then down some stair to the b where Bulma was sitting in front of a computer, with the radio on. There was a rge man lying on a table with some cable connecting to an opening in his head, he was wearing a dark under suit, he had two gold hoop earrings and a reddish orange mohawk. “I’ll be right back; I’m going to bring you some deserts ok.” Panchy said as she walked out of the b.

  “Ok, thank you, Hey Bulma, what are you working on?” Gohan asked as he walked up to her and saw she was looking at some schematics. “Is that Android 16?” Gohan asked gncing at the man on the table.

  “Hey, Gohan, yeah that’s him I’m trying to fix him up so he can help us fight Cell.” Bulma replied as she stopped typing on the computer to turn and look at him. “So, what brings you by?”

  “My mom wanted some time alone with my dad, and Raditz and Launch aren’t home either, so I didn’t know where else to go so I came here, to see if Trunks was here, but your mom said he wasn’t.” Gohan said as he looked at the schematics on the computer. “Wow he’s very advance.”

  “Yeah, Trunks went back to the lookout… Man, this must have taken Dr. Gero years to finish.” Bulma said as she turned around and continued typing away at the computer. “I don’t know… I barely understand these schematics myself, why don’t you pull up a seat and sit next to me. I could always use an extra pair of eyes.”

  Gohan pulled up a chair next to her, as Bulma continued to work on the computer, she pulled up some files in his system, “Wow he has a lot of files on my dad.” Gohan said looking at the computer.

  “Yeah, he even has your home address and a list of all his fighting moves, he has files on everyone, even some on you, he seems to have been made to just to kill your dad, but from what I’ve heard he hasn’t really hurt anyone… besides Cell.” Bulma said looking back at 16. “I wonder why?” Bulma said looking back at the computer as she grabbed some coffee, she had in front of her.

  “Well, looking at these schematics I can tell that Dr. Gero was a genius no doubt, but he seemed to overlook something, just like he did with the other androids. They were made to follow his orders, but they ended up killing him, there must be something in their programing that he didn’t count on for that allows them to overrule his orders.” Gohan said looking at Bulma.

  “Yeah, that is possible… Gohan can you go get me some more coffee please.” Bulma said as she handed Gohan the empty mug.

  “Yeah, sure I’ll be right back.” Gohan said as he went upstairs to get some more coffee for Bulma, when Goku appeared with Krillin, “There you are son, come with me there’s someone who wants to see you.” Goku said, with a smile.

  “… ok dad let me tell Bulma I’m leaving I have been helping her with something.” Gohan said, looking at Krillin who just shrugged at him.

  “Don’t worry about it I’ll tell her you left Gohan.” Panchy said as she came from the kitchen carrying some food and coffee. “Hello, Goku and Krillin it’s nice to see you again.” She said as she grabbed the coffee mug Gohan was carrying.

  “Hello, it’s nice to see you too, thank you for telling Bulma we’re leaving.” Goku said as he told Gohan and Krillin to hold hands before he pced his hand on Krillin as they disappeared.

  They arrived at the lookout and saw a familiar face with a wide smile, it was Dende, who ran up to them as soon he saw them, “Krillin, Gohan you’re here.” He said happily

  “Dende wow it’s good to see you again, if you are here that must mean you are going to be Earth’s new guardian.” Krillin said with a smile.

  “Yeah, it’s good to see you Dende.” Gohan said with a smile. “Is that true?” Gohan asked

  “Yeah, I’m going to be the new guardian, I hope I can do a good job.” Dende said looking nervous.

  “Dende are you sure you can handle the Dragon Balls?” Piccolo asked looking at him.

  “Yes, I’m sure, I can even make it now if you still have the old model of the dragon.” Dende said looking at Piccolo.

  “I have the model somewhere.” Mr. Popo said as he walked away to get it.

  “Can you make it grant three wishes?” Krillin asked

  “Not if you want to bring back multiple people with one wish, I can make it grant two wishes though.” Dende said

  “That’s good enough.” Piccolo said as Mr. Popo came back with a stone dragon inside a gss case and handing it to Dende.

  Dende sat the model down and pced his hands over it as he started speaking Namekian, his hands started to glow and so did the dragon model as streams of lights started flowing out of the model and the sky darkened, the light got brighter before shooting up into the sky and splitting into seven parts flying off into the distance.

  “Wow that was incredible.” Krillin said as the sky cleared up.

  “Yeah, you can summon the dragon as soon as you collect all the dragon balls, I also got rid of the immortality wish.” Dende said as he turned to look at the group.

  “That’s great, I’ll get the dragon radar from Bulma and collect the dragon balls. Gohan why don’t you stay here with Dende until the tournament begins.” Goku said looking at Gohan.

  “… are you sure dad what about training?” Gohan asked looking at Goku.

  “Yeah, I’m sure just have a good time, if you really want to train, I’m sure Trunks and Piccolo wouldn’t mind sparring with you.” Goku said as he turned around and pced his finger on his forehead before disappearing.

  “Gohan… tell me why your dad is so calm did he discover some secret to defeating Cell.” Trunks asked looking at Gohan in concern.

  “I don’t really know, when we saw Korin earlier, he said he found a secret while training, but he won’t tell me. He just keeps telling me not to worry.” Gohan said looking Trunks.

  “Well, I guess we just have to trust him, if he’s not worried then this secret must be enough to defeat Cell.” Krillin said looking at them.

  “Well, the only thing we can do is wait I guess.” Piccolo said looking worried.

  Gohan had finished with his homework and had changed into the clothes Piccolo given him, minus the cape as he stood in front of Trunks. Krillin had gone back to Master Roshi’s, Piccolo was meditating, Dende was sitting watching them, and Mr. Popo was watering his skunk smelling pnts.

  “Thanks for training with me Gohan.” Trunks said with a smile, before transforming into a Super Saiyan.

  “No, problem Trunks, you’re helping me too.” Gohan said as he got into his battle stance and powered up as well, causing Piccolo to open his eyes to look at them.

  Trunks unched himself at Gohan and started throwing punches at Gohan who blocked them, with his forearms, Trunks then punched Gohan, but he passed through Gohan as Gohan kicked Trunks in the back. Gohan flew after Trunks, who turned around as Gohan reached him and started throwing punches at Trunks. Trunks blocked the punches, Gohan then used telekinesis and sent Trunks flying backwards off the lookout.

  “Masenko Ha!” Gohan shouted as he fired his beam at Trunks who stabilized himself.

  “Masenko Ha!” Trunks shouted as Gohan’s beam closed on him, the two beams then cshed and started struggling against each other, Gohan used more energy as his beam slowly overpowered Trunk’s beam.

  There was an explosion as Gohan’s beam overcame Trunks and out the cloud of smoke Trunks flew up into the air. “Burning Attack!” Trunks shouted as he pced his hands in front of him and fired a bst at Gohan.

  “Saturday Crush!” Gohan shouted as he fired his own bst at Trunks, Gohan’s bst swallowed Trunk’s bst and continued flying towards Trunks, Trunks blocked the bst as it hit him. Gohan then appeared behind Trunks and kicked him in the back sending him flying back towards the lookout.

  Trunks nded on the lookout and rolled through as he turned around looking for Gohan who appeared behind him and punched Trunks in the back, sending him flying off the lookout, again as Trunks twisted around and fired two energy bsts at Gohan.

  Gohan knocked them away as Trunks flew towards Gohan with a smile, “This is just like old times when future you trained me.” Trunks said as he started throwing punches and kicks at Gohan who dodged them.

  Gohan then dodged a punch when he kicked Trunks in the stomach, then kneed him in the chin, followed by a punch to the face, that sent him flying further way, Gohan fired a beam at Trunks.

  The beam flew towards Trunks who fired his own beam as he flew backwards both beams hit each other before exploding, Trunks came out of the cloud of smoke smiling before he changed back into his base form, “I think that’s good enough for today, Gohan, thank you very much.” Trunks said as he flew towards the lookout.

  “No problem, Trunks.” Gohan said as he flew down towards the lookout, too, “Trunks can you teach me that st attack you used?” Gohan asked looking at him.

  “The Burning Attack… sure I can, as long as you teach me some moves as well.” Trunks said with a ugh.

  Gohan and Trunks spent time teaching each other some moves until Gohan realized something, “Wait! Vegeta is still in the Chamber?”

  “Yeah why?” Trunks asked looking confused.

  “It’s been two days!” Gohan said looking worried.

  “Oh, that I muted the time dition in the Chamber, one day out here is now one day in there.” Mr. Popo said calmly.

  “Why did you do that?” Gohan asked looking at Mr. Popo

  “Because Fuck him.” Mr. Popo said shrugging his shoulders.

  Before anyone can ask any more questions Vegeta soon came out of the Chamber; he was covered in cuts and bruises and his battle suit was torn in pces. Vegeta just walked away before flying off the lookout without saying anything.

  “Well, I guess it’s my turn to enter the Chamber now, thanks again for training with me Gohan.” Trunks said

  “No, problem good luck Trunks.” Gohan said as Trunks walked away towards the Chamber. “Piccolo, would you train with me?” Gohan asked after Trunks disappeared.

  “Sure Gohan.” Piccolo said as he stood up.
