In a world of magic and miracles, despair and unfair prejudice are far too common. A young girl with tattered clothes and matted hair is evidence of this at least. This girl with two different eyes was an outcast since birth, and was soon sold. Her future was dim, yet when she slayed a wolf to protect herself with an unknown power, that future brightened just a bit.
