If you come here hoping to find an epic fantasy novel with sprawling chapters and convoluted plots, I am sorry to disappoint you, for that is not what FOLK is. With this project comes an invitation for you to dive into the world of Stolia, a grim fantasy land where danger is always lurking around the corner, salivating and ready to pounce straight at one´s throat, where those without some form of strength, cunning or -in rare, fortunate, cases - luck won’t survive to see the strands on their head turn grey. Come along and follow a myriad of different characters on their (miss)adventures, from the smuggler running alongside the rats in the underground tunnel network of Adara, to the diplomat high above in the ivory towers of Calandria, navigating the whispers within the gilded nests of frill-wearing vipers. Tone will shift, Stakes may vary - but one thing I can promise... Within these pages, I will do my best to transport you into strange lands filled with as much potential as they have shadows. Using these words, I will try to stir the chill that comes with the crunching of snow, the warmth brought on by the respite of a candlelit tavern, the sharp sting of cold steel as a blade knicks skin.
