Volume 7. Chapter 83: Runey Talked More. (Chapter 684.)

  Chapter 83: Runey Talked More.

Runey: “Or rather, Runia, alongside the other Admins of the System, they were supposed to prevent this.” She added.

Celia: “Hm? But… Runey wasn’t the only Admin, or System, right?” She replied with a confused head tilt.

Now done with drying off, Celia sat down on her bed. Faith and Maralia were gone. They were still keeping a close eye on Celia, though.

A drastic change will occur in the future, tearing the family apart. Both Maralia and Faith, despite being relatively new family members, knew that they couldn’t keep this a secret.

Due to this, they, taking the cruel task directly out of Celia’s hands, were the ones who will be informing them of this. And, like they guessed, everyone quickly agreed. After all, Celia had done already far too much for them, and even allowing such a large sacrifice… all to save Celia, wouldn’t be enough to pay her back.

Runey: “Eventually, every System, and the Admins, get tired of their life. Like how the Game wishes for an end. Though, instead of death, they choose the path of individual existence.” She continued.

Celia: “Wait… you don’t mean that…” She stopped talking, hoping that Runey would speak more.

Runey: “Correct. Shortly after Ruina’s ascension, the other Admins and Systems did the same. For a long time now, no one has managed the System. And with the Will uncaring, the System didn’t gain any new Admins, either.” She said with a sigh.

  Celia: “…”

Runey: “Even before it became a rogue, the System of this Universe was bad. It didn’t act like a tool, and with no one watching it, the System is more like an evil, mind controlling, being.” She added with a giggle.

Frankly, Runey felt that this Universe was quite pitiful, but also funny. Celia even gave the System to so many people, completely unaware that it was actually something bad all along.

Could there truly be anything more hilarious than this? She thought with a happy giggle. The System being so stupidly evil… is why Runey was originally going for a full reset on this Universe.

Too much damage had occurred from the System, both in being used, and from not being given. Once this Universe was… purged of all impurities, would Runey then actually care about it.

Celia: “What is Faith’s plan?” She asked with a serious tone.

Runey: “If I tell you, then you’ll be able to stop it. I am talking now, only because, Celia, you’re interesting.” She replied with a haughty tone.

  Celia: “…”

Runey: “Cruel as it may be, Faith’s plan aligns with my own desires for this Universe. As such, I will, of course, not give you even a slight chance to foil this plan of ours.” She threatened.

Leaving with this, Celia was then absolutely alone in her inn room. Biting her lip, Celia didn’t truly understand how her grand life… could come crashing down like this. And in such a crazy, magnificent manner, as well…
