Chapter 68: Killing, Killing, And More Slime Killing.

  One Large Slime, even if it was Level 500 or more, wouldn’t be a problem for Maralia, a Goddess over Level 1,000. The problem… comes from there being literally hundreds of these Large Smiles, with thousands of Slimes adding to their force.

  Ria: “Now they’re commanding the remaining Barboes to attack us…” She said with an angry sigh.

  Maralia: “They can only delay Celia’s rescue, Ria. Just keep slaying them, and then we can go find Celia!” She kindly suggested.

  Typically, Slimes take prey into their bodies, quickly dissolving anything and everything within just minutes. A scary sight to behold…

  But, rather than kill Celia, Flan just kidnapped her. Celia didn’t look to be struggling for air, but was restrained. At this, Maralia and Ria weren’t worried that Celia died, or was going to perish.

  Annoyed to have mere cannon fodder thrown at them, Ria and Maralia were frantic, and didn’t care about their appearances at all.

  Barboes blood, and Slime chunks of varying colors, painted their attire and faces. Unfortunately, the speed at which they killed their enemies… was slow.

  Ria: “Maralia, I am just holding you back… Let me die, and then go to Celia.” She demanded with a serious tone.

  Maralia: “Don’t be a fool, Ria.” She instantly denied. “As if I could leave my sister wife to her death…” She thought with a groan.

  Ria: “You…” Was all that she could say, as the Goddess saved her from yet another fatal attack.

  Yes, Ria’s Level was too low. At most, she could kill the Barboes, and a few of the weaker Slimes. But Ria only had this ability, as Maralia gave her Orichalcum weapons, which were also Enchanted by Midas.

  While fighting, Maralia was required to protect Ria at all times. Ria and, in addition, Zia, couldn’t be allowed to die.

  Celia sacrificed too much for her family… So, even Maralia would love to give in to her greed, have Celia all to herself, the Goddess resisted. She had been given another chance, and wouldn’t dare fail Celia in that way again.

  Eight Hours Later.

  Ria And Maralia: “…”

  The battlefield was destroyed by Maralia’s Magic attacks, as well as Barboes corpses, and the slimy remains of both normal and Large Slimes. Ria was exhausted, while Maralia, with a superior Status, was fine.

  Zia: “Ria, this Maralia Goddess isn’t as bad as we thought.” She said with a pleased tone.

  Ria: “Alright, thanks for protecting me, Lady Maralia. Now, please go after our woman.” She requested with a tired tone.

  Maralia: “And leave you here to an unknown fate? A majority of those Large Slimes ran away…” She denied once more.

  Ria: “You aren’t going to pretend to not be lusting after Celia?” She replied with a raised eyebrow.

  Maralia: “Lust? I feel nothing for a child’s body.” She scoffed in reply.

  Ria: “Then… why go so far…” Her words cut off here.

  Maralia: “You, me, Zia, Midas… and others, are Celia’s wives from her previous life. Her System Helper, Ruina, is one of her daughters, as well. This is not her second chance, but ours.” She revealed.

  Ria and Zia: “…”
