Chapter 76: Genius!
Alisa: “Princess Celia, I hardly think that this will work…” She said with a sigh, now seeing Celia for the child she truly was.
After exploring together for days, only now did the noble refer to Celia as a princess. She did so in hopes of coaxing Celia into behaving, a method of gently scolding her.
Celia: “Lady Alisa, do you, perhaps, have a better idea in mind?” She replied with her arms crossed, which looked funny, with her current walking speed.
Alisa: “…”
Celia: “Even if this doesn’t work out, we’ll still get Exp, in the end.” She added with a shrug.
Alisa: “That may be so. But… it does feel very… inefficient.” She said with a sigh, her voice somewhat shaky as they were jogging.
Flan had intelligence, but most monsters were just that. Monsters. They lacked rational thinking, moving forward only to get their next meal. From current research, it wasn’t even known if monsters knew about their System, or if they had a concept of Leveling. Survival was all that was on their minds.
As such, Celia aggro’d over one hundred Slimes, with the intention of leading them to the locked, large double door. Since they only saw Alisa and Celia as food, they chased after the jogging young adults mindlessly.

Alisa: “Alright, Lady Celia. We’ve made it back to this stone door.” She said with an uneasy tone and expression.
Celia: “Yep. Alisa, you sit back, and allow me to cull these Slimes. It’s my plan, after all.” She suggested with a kind expression.
Alisa: “…Sure.” “Silly child. Despite her Level, Celia really is still too young. I’ll have to train this out of her… That is, unless she naturally matures with age.” She thought with an evil tone, her inner self losing her smile.
Stab!
Celia’s back was to Alisa, so the noble showed her true face outwardly as well. If someone else she knew was here, they’d think that Alisa was insane.
She doesn’t usually act like this, almost always being cold and rarely talkative. Alisa didn’t intend to trick Celia; this was just how she accidentally started acting after meeting the girl.
Celia: “Alisa, look! I was right!” She smugly exclaimed.
Before Celia turned back to her, Alisa recovered her expression, and then she started looking in the direction that Celia pointed out. Specifically, it was a crystal ball on the door.
The door, being a double door, had two of them, one on each side. No Exp was gained from killing ten Slimes, but their Souls were sucked into the left crystal ball, slowly lighting it up.
Alisa: “(~OAO)”
Celia immediately went back to killing the Slimes, so she missed her partner’s funny, mouth agape expression. Alisa had conquered quite a few dungeons in her life, but none of them had such a weirdly locked boss door as this one did.
Alisa didn’t think much about it. Likely, there was a switch somewhere that opened the door. She decided to just let Celia have her fun, and then leave this place. Alisa would come back later with a team, and scout out the whole dungeon, before then slaying the boss. Though, Celia, as per usual, defies expectations…
