Chapter 61: Some Secrets.
With Vulely gone, the Cultivator relaxed. Releasing her Demonic aura, Guanyu wasn’t restricted anymore.
She was injured gravely, but, after being in Celia’s Soul Realm for over 14 years, Guanyu was healed enough to move around. In fact, she merely fell asleep uncontrollably, as hiding her evil aura took a lot of effort, considering that she still needed hundreds of years to fully heal.
Guanyu: “If that powerful being knew about this… a fight would have been unavoidable.” She expressed with a giggle.
From underneath the blood, the Cultivator pulled out Celia’s Inner Soul. Just being in this Soul Realm wasn’t enough; Guanyu actually had to have some connection with Celia; thus, she went with this method.
Guanyu: “Stranger still… this Universe I ended up in. How come you, Celia, called me here, guiding me to safety and healing?” She mused confusedly, gently caressing Celia’s Inner Soul.
As the Demon Empress, Guanyu had countless enemies. Primarily immortal, moral sects, which were the cause of her wounds. In a grand war, she managed to kill most of them, defying Heaven’s ever needed balance.
While dying, the Cultivator assumed that it was the end for her. The injuries were too much for Guanyu to heal, her Qi almost fully depleted, and Heaven surely wished her dead for such sinful, unbalanced acts.

Instead, Guanyu felt a pull, and with her remaining Qi, the Cultivator ended up in Celia’s Soul Realm. To date, Guanyu still was not sure how this happened, or why Celia, despite having no Higher Being directly cheating for her, that the girl was so lucky.
Guanyu: “Karmic Destiny… doesn’t exist in this Dimension, or even this Universe…” She said with a sigh, letting the Inner Soul sink back into the hot spring once more.
Without any Karmic Destiny, Guanyu no longer felt a need to be evil. Not that she would suddenly change, and become a better person, mind you.
Rather than take comfort in this newfound freedom, it only caused Guanyu to be confused to no end. Since not even Karma existed to assist Celia unfairly, how could she be so lucky, surrounded by powerful beings, which love and help her? It defies all logic…
Faith: “How long?” She asked, appearing behind the Cultivator.
Guanyu: “A thousand years, or slightly more. But, if Celia gets stronger, Evolves into a Goddess, even, then I’ll be healed sooner, rather than later.” She nonchalantly answered.
Faith: “Hm… Fine, I trust that you won’t hurt Celia. You do need her, after all.” She scoffed, vanishing a second later.
Guanyu: “…”
Frankly, Guanyu doesn’t know if she could return to her original Universe and Dimension. Due to that uncertainty, the woman made sure that, regardless of her truth strength slowly being regained with time, to not anger those around Celia.
Faith was one such being, already getting absurd strength. After seeing Xena, Guanyu was now quite confident that Faith was only second to her in power.
In this Dimension, rather. As Vulely’s strength was unknown to Guanyu. Sighing, she slid into the blood, letting it fully engulf and heal her, falling asleep shortly after…
