Chapter 62: Didn't Know Why, But At Least It Was Fine.

Celia: “Hm?” She said with a groggy tone and expression.

With grand confusion, Celia found herself on a bed. This wasn’t her bedroom. Rather, she was sleeping in Midas’s house, on her bed.

  Sniff!

  Celia: “(/ />/ A /
For reasons unknown to Celia, the girl had the uncontrollable urge to smell Midas’s pillow, and even the bed. It was filled with the Goddess’s scent, which soothed Celia. Luckily, she was a bit too young to feel arousal, or the girl would then be lusting after Midas…

Midas: “Awake? Silly girl, you fell asleep in the bath.” She said with a gentle scolding tone after entering the room.

Celia: “I…I fell asleep?” She replied with a confused head tilt, with Midas swearing that she could see various question marks around her.

In fact, for fun, Ruina did make such symbols appear. Even if she was older, the girl was still just as mischievous as before. Especially without her dear wife there to keep Ruina’s cheekiness in check…

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

Midas: “Apologies, I think that you used up too much of your Mana. Finishing your sword, I mean.” She added with a remorseful tone, rubbing her head a bit.

Celia: “Oh… I didn’t realize.” She replied, embarrassed.

Midas: “It was my fault, as I didn’t tell you that your part required Mana. From now on, when fighting, you should add Magic into the mix. Otherwise, your MP Stat will remain too low.” She advised.

Celia: “Do I need a lot of Mana to wield my new sword?” She asked, nervously.

Midas: “Not quite. Magic is just very useful, so having a high MP Stat is important.” She clarified with a laugh.

  Celia: “…”

Midas: “I finished Enchanting everything else, so do please try them out. Ah, I have a friend who you should meet. She’s downstairs. Once you finish ogling your new Enchantments, go and see her.” She said with a smile, flicking the storage ring back to Celia, before then leaving.

Looking down, the blanket no longer covering Celia’s upper body, Celia was relieved. With how Midas acts, the young girl was worried that she only had… sexy nightwear. But Celia was wearing just a normal nightgown, which concealed everything, even her shoulders.

  Later.

Ruina: “See, what’d I tell you? With these Enchantments… you could probably kill a Level 400 or so being/monster!” She happily expressed.

Celia: “…Why is Midas so good to me?” She asked with worry.

Ruina: “In less than a year, you’ve done and achieved so much… Midas was correct to favor you like this, and will forever do so in the future.” She explained, coaxing her mother.

Celia: “So much? I feel as if… I haven’t really done anything other than assassinate a prince.” She replied, sighing away.

Ruina, being originally an emotionless System Helper, didn’t truly know how to handle the current Celia. An angsty, hormonal teen… was seemingly above Ruina’s pay grade.
