Volume 8. Chapter 63: Weird Knight. (Chapter 764.)

  Chapter 63: Weird Knight.

Out of all her equipment, Celia’s new sword was the most intriguing. Despite being half her height, it was light as a feather, and Celia felt no problems when wielding it.

The sheathe was mostly for decoration, as Celia could make the sword vanish and appear with just her thoughts alone.

It took longer to take an item out of her storage ring, but making her sword appear felt natural, and took less than a millisecond to show up. Excited, Celia did a serious slash.

  Crack!

  Celia: “(~OAO)”

Following her practice attack, a blue slash was emitted. It reminded Celia of something that Herm did, but it was unexpected. Now there was a gaping gash in Midas’s wall, letting sunlight in.

  Snap!

Midas: “I forgot to mention, but, using Mana, you can make Magic attacks shoot out from your new sword. Do be careful with it.” She informed with a laugh, snapping her fingers, which repaired the hole, before leaving again.

Celia didn’t even notice the woman appear, with Midas vanishing just as fast as she did so. Swallowing her guilt and saliva, Celia hid her sword away, before then exiting Midas’s bedroom.

Maralia: “Ah, Princess Celia. It is a pleasure to meet you! I am Maralia, a Holy Knight.” She said with a knightly bow, before then guiding Celia into the room, helping her sit down on a couch.

Celia: “…Likewise. What does a Holy Knight want with me?” She replied with a forced smile.

Now in Midas’s private office, Celia was faced with her future wife, Maralia. The woman, though a Goddess, was dressed up in splendid armor. Celia recognized it as all made from properly forged Orichalcum, which only added to her unease.

Maralia: “The Holy Church has no further need for me, and Midas, a dear friend, suggested that I should become your knight.” She answered, picking her tea cup up, and then taking a sip.

Celia: “Eh, but…” She got cut off.

Maralia: “Please, before you make a decision, look at my strength. Status!” She pleaded quickly.

  :Status:

  Name: Maralia.

  Sex: Female.

  Race: Goddess.

  Age: 25.

  HP: 1,500,000/1,500,000.

  MP: 625,000/625,000.

  AGI: 1080.

  STR: 3,147.

  DEX: 999.

  INT: 1,991.

  Hunger: 51,000/55,000.

  True Level: 1,153.

  Race Level: 153/5,000.

  Current EXP: 403,994/414,000.

  Celia: “(O.o)”

It took less than a few hours for Maralia’s Status, or rather, her System, to be stable. Once it was, her true Status appeared. Though, this wasn’t enough for Maralia, as she was only a bit stronger than Midas.

As such, while Celia slept, the Goddess trained Level after Level. Midas wanted to do the same, but was convinced to stay here and watch over the sleeping Celia.

In truth, that is why Celia couldn’t find Midas now. She was going to meet Midas’s friend, but Celia wanted to say goodbye and thank her first. Which caused Celia to run into Maralia.

Now in turmoil on how she could ever make a Goddess into a mere knight, Celia wished for Ria or Midas to be here, and back her up. But Ria was doing… suspicious activities, and Midas was out killing monsters for Exp…
