Volume 8. Chapter 65: Teaching Her A Thing Or Two. (Chapter 766.)

Chapter 65: Teaching Her A Thing Or Two.

Maralia: “That’s perfect, My Lady! Keep up that stance, and swing your sword just like that.” She praised and instructed further.

  Carma: “…”

  Ria: “…”

  Lem: “…”

Mein: “…” “I should start thinking about retirement. This world truly is for the young, after all.” He thought in a deadpan tone.

Celia left unannounced, going to where Midas was. In returning, she now had Enchanted gear and attire, which outclassed anything most here have seen.

On top of that, she got a retired Holy Knight, a Goddess, to pledge allegiance to her. And here she was, having said Holy Knight teaching Celia on how to fight at a higher level than before…

Carma: “Should I give up the throne to Celia?” She asked with a sigh.

Mein: “You’re meant to be a queen, Carma. Celia is… a free soul, and would suffocate in such a position.” He lectured.

  Carma: “…”

Ria: “I agree. Celia will just be an extremely powerful ally to you in the future, Princess Carma.” She added solemnly.

  Slash!

As Celia wasn’t well versed in Magic sword attacks, dangerous Mana shot out everywhere. Deeming this display… threatening to their lives, they then left Maralia and Celia alone to train.

  A Few Hours Later.

Maralia: “Truly, I made the correct choice in becoming your knight, Lady Celia. I barely have anything left to teach you, in fact.” She praised once more. “This is absurd! She practically still has all her original battle senses and skills from her last life…” She exclaimed in her mind, defeated.

An instructor was someone a person could get close to. That is why Maralia chose this angle to get comfy with her future wife, putting herself in a deep place of Celia’s tender heart.

Apparently, Sava’s teachings managed to last even in another life, despite Celia’s Soul being cleansed. Maralia knew this was the case, as what Sava taught her… remained as well. Though, until training with Celia just now, the Goddess wasn’t sure if it was because she still had or memories, or not.

Celia: “I feel like your praise is exaggerated, Maralia.” She said with a giggle, happy to be praised by such a skilled woman.

Maralia: “Come to think of it… this sword is made from Orichalcum. Noting the inscriptions, it seems to have been forged in the Holy Church.” She expressed with a thinking pose.

Celia: “Really?! I guess that’s where Cynthia bought it from…” She replied with awe.

Maralia: “Cynthia? Who is that?” She asked, doing her best to conceal her anger, a woman whose name she didn’t know getting mentioned, coming out from her beloved’s mouth.

Celia: “Cynthia Rever, a very powerful noble. Ah, I wished that she let me attend her private wedding… Sehr and her make such a good match.” She nonchalantly answered, sighing away in regret as she did so.

Maralia: “She’s married? Lady Celia, this sword is more than worthy of a name. You must have given it one, yes?” She said with a relieved tone, before then switching back to teasing Celia.

  Celia: “…”
