Chapter 8: After All This Time, It Was Still There...
Midas: “There’s that quest there, dealing with a lost child, then a smaller one, requiring you to guard some cargo.” She said, pointing to two different quests.
Celia: “The… selection is quite small.” She said with a shocked thinking pose.
In fact, Celia wasn’t even slightly embarrassed right now. This Guild Branch was practically empty, besides a few employees.
Midas: “It can’t be helped. Our group has forced every breed of monster into extinction.” She said with a groan, regretting her actions.
Celia: “Damn… Does that I mean we have to go to a different continent to gain Levels?” She asked with a thinking pose.
With their race to the top, Celia’s family had accidentally destroyed the monster ecosystem. No more dungeons spawned, and Flan’s closed permanently, never to open again.
As such, the quest board had merely a few scraps left on it. The monsters are dead and gone, but the people didn’t really care. Most were just happy to never have to be afraid of monsters again. This didn’t extend to farm animals, such as cows or chickens, mind you. The food supply was steady.

Celia: “Oh? That Wraith quest is still here…” She said with an awed expression.
In the corner… was the same tattered piece of paper, which no one could ever get rid of. Midas, in her boredom, attempted to complete this quest many times, to no avail.
Midas: “That? We’ve long since given up on it. If it wasn’t for Reri and Felta, still donating to the Guild, it would have been shut down by now.” She replied with a yawn.
Rip!
Celia And Midas: “( ? _ ? )”
Since there was no solution, Celia decided to take the paper off the wall, and look at it further. Unfortunately, when doing so, the quest note ripped itself apart, causing a Teleportation circle to appear underneath Celia’s feet.
Midas: “Shit! Why?! You step out of the castle for one day… and the absurd antics resume!” She exclaimed, stomping her foot in anger.
Celia: “…I can’t get out.” She said with a head tilt.
Midas: “Yes, and I can’t break this weird barrier. Well… thankfully, wherever you go, Celia, you’re strong enough to deal with it.” She replied with a deadpan tone, expression that of defeat.
Using all her strength, Celia tried to shatter the blue, translucent barrier with her fists, which kept her inside of the Magic circle. But, regardless of Celia’s profound strength, the damn thing didn’t even receive a crack.
Celia: “Aren’t you taking this situation too calmly, Midas? Your future wife is being kidnapped as we speak!!!” She yelled in reply, feeling a little betrayed.
Midas: “And right on the day that I was going to propose… Celia, I have Tracking Magic on you. Once you teleport away, I’ll find you as fast as I can!” She swore with a serious, coaxing tone.
Celia: “…”
