Chapter 9: The Mystery To Be Solved, Soon!
With a deadpan expression, Celia’s eyes became able to see, as the light from the Teleportation Magic vanished shortly before she opened them.
The woman glanced around her new location, finding it to be a dilapidated house. Frankly, Celia was calm, as despite staying home for years, crazy things still happened to her.
Ruina: “Mom, why must you get yourself into these situations…” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “Hm? Why is it that you didn’t say that like a question?…” She replied with a confused head tilt.
Ruina: “Because I wasn’t asking you a question. That was just me lamenting my/your reality.” She deadpanly answered.
Celia: “…”
Celia could sense that this was far off from her home, her Mana hinting that… I am joking.
Guanyu: “This seems to be…” She got cut off.
Ruina: “A different continent?” She assumed, stopping the woman from speaking.
Guanyu And Celia: “…”
Ruina: “?”
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
The Cultivator eventually revealed herself to Celia, and they now have a very good relationship with each other. Guanyu was still healing, but she could materialize in the real world. The method was similar to what Faith did when meeting Ruina, meaning that Guanyu was weak in this form.
Guanyu: “This is a pocket dimension, similar to the one where you fought Xena’s Nightmare.” She clarified with sighing at Ruina’s annoying antics.
Celia: “Oh, that sucks… Why is it that… I was the only one sent here?” She asked in reply, groaning all the way.
Guanyu: “We won’t know… until we explore this dimension. Whoever is in control… had deemed you worthy, Celia.” She replied with a thinking pose.
The house seemed completely devoid of life, which upset Celia to no end. She simply wished to become a Goddess, but, instead, she got sent on another absurd adventure.
Thud!
Celia: “…Emptiness.” She voiced in boredom.
Cutting one of the boarded windows open, the outside world was revealed to be nothing. It was merely blackness around the house, seeming to extend forever. Leaving Celia with no other option than to explore inside, primarily.
Hours Later.
Despite searching in each room, Celia found nothing of interest. The house was truly empty, which made sense, considering how dilapidated it was.
Ruina: “Mom, I am hopeful that you won’t be trapped here forever. You just have to keep looking for an exit!” She coaxed sincerely.
Celia: “Given my crazy destiny… I know that your words are correct, dear. Though, that doesn’t help my mood at all.” She replied with a solemn giggle.
After accepting Alisa as her daughter, Ruina asked for the same treatment. Celia didn’t bother to ask for the SH’s reasons for this, as she just felt that seeing Ruina as her daughter… was correct.
Crash!
Suddenly, a door, which was locked, not even able to open with Celia’s immense strength, flew open. From inside, a woman, no… a teenager, no older than 16, rushed out, bumping into Celia.
Mena: “Eek! Another ghost!!!” She exclaimed in horror after bouncing off of Celia’s body, now huddled up on the floor.
Celia: “(- _ -)”
